Wait, a $140 million dollar building that probably brought in $100 million over the cost, is now, on opening day, worth $84 million?

Maybe that's a precept; Awareness of Being Conned. Remember when they were just about to open in 2006? http://www.sptimes.com/2006/05/06/Tampabay/Scientology_nearly_re.shtml

Perception --- Perceptics
Deception --- Deceptics

Deceptics Run(around)down*: Bilk $240 million dollars from people for a building worth $84 million and you, not they, own it.

JB

*Often used in concert with:
Trademark Protectics Dumbdown: Refuse to refund $340k dollars to Garcias after collection of $240 million dollars. (See COB RTC 'hat'.)

I was one of the Guinea Pigs for the original latter '70's Supah Powah.

There's gonna be a whole lotta Whale Bail occurrences over the next year. The SP Rdn ain't gonna be the Silver Bullet it's been promoted to be, didn't need a 100+$MM building to deliver and another 100+$MM to "Roll Out", and a buncha them Whales and many of the Sheep are gonna realize that and it's gonna F with the flocked flock's little minds as there is absolutely nothing earth shattering or "wowee zowee" in the original stuff El Ron issued, and all the whistles and bells that have been added in by others since then is pretty much padding and filler, smoke and mirrors, and theme park and carnival rides. :hysterical:

But, I gotta hand it to you, DM...You've pulled off a rip off that makes Madoff and Enron look like piker wannabe's. I know that you know in your gut it's gonna tank--that's why you stalled it off for so long. But, your hand got forced...You thought you were immune as "Religious Cloaking" made it all "Legal".

Wrong, Spider Breath. The Genie is out of the bottle, the toothpaste is out of the tube, the tipping point has long passed and the dye is cast :nervous:

This weekend and Rdn isn't gonna evaporate the Lawsuit you're losin' sleep over, Cupcake...This weekend and Rdn is gonna plant seeds that will grow into vines bearing the bitter fruit of a mess of folks that want their money back and your balls nailed to their wall. :coolwink:

If we see people walking down the street, sniffing people, tasting trees and have an irresistable desire to go on carnival rides, is it safe to assume they are superpower graduates with all the abilities of blood hound and monkey's?

At what rundown will they start to ask for their money back?

At the taste table and wall, will there be food there or do they lick the table and wall, what has Dave prepared for them?

Tonight's event: Doors open at 6:00 p.m., guests are in formal dress, and at 7:00 p.m. the presentation begins.

Is there a standard agenda for a new-item roll-out presentation?
Ex.: Music, opening remarks, individual award presentation, more music, introduce the product w/video, closing remarks, cocktail hour/dancing/table photos, end. (I'll assume no one throws an after-party, right?)

Assuming tomorrow's evening's event is the 2nd half of tonight's GAT2 product roll-out, as described in some of the leaked emails, what would the 'public' attendees be likely to do tomorrow during the day? (<---Running from the registrars - understood, but anything else? Socializing w/each other?)

What the honest scientology email would look like:

Dear Fellow Scientologist,

I'm sure you know by now, that the Super Power thing is finally will be open/released for real this time.
This weekend. Both rundown and the building.

It's hard to believe, I know, after all these years.
And who the fuck knows what it's gonna be? Hopefully something theta.

Anyway, it's been a helluva fucking ride, it's better be good.

Also, GAT 2. Yeah. After GAT 1. Makes sense. Just shoot me.

Anyway, please try to show up, I guess.

Cheers.

Hi Stat

Are you by any chance DodoTheLaser from The Bunker?

in 1978, L. Ron Hubbard wanted to cure the malaise that sometimes slowed down his workers

Well! Did it ever occur to hubbard that the malaise was perhaps due to the fact that staff had lack of a good night's sleep, were poorly and undernourished and otherwise treated like crap?

I got a better idea for Super Power. 8 hours of sleep a night, three square varied meals a day, balance of work and play, 40 hour work weeks, being paid at least minimum wage, an IRA, 2 weeks paid vacation a year, holidays off, and time spent every day on ESMB.

This is THE most exciting & THE most important event in the history of the universe!!!

But don't tell anyone about it!!!

See Mike Rinder's blog for hilarity:

He re-posted some stuff from Facebook from those anticipating the event this weekend. I love this one:

For all you SP's out there, please use your Tone 40 postulates to bring heavy rain to Clearwater this weekend, at least to Fort Harrison Ave.

Thank-You!

There's TWO events tomorrow? 3:30 & 7:00?
Dammit!
Someone had better damned well write a KR about this. The dress code emails said: 2 formals/1 smart casual - flunk!

Fashion-forwardedness is SOP since the ascots, people.
Did hubbard create the Spiffiness Rundown for nothing?!
OTCouture policy letters ring any bells?
Solo Windsor NOTS - hello?
Next we'll hear the guys are spritzing Aramis, the ladies, Charlie, and no one's wearing their lanyards! :melodramatic:

If this is the kind of non-standard tek that's being delivered at the new Tek-O Bell Building, then I can truly understand why you good folks bailed and came to ESMB.

The amnesty, however, did not apply to certain groups of SP's. Specifically, those who have spoken out about Scn are in another category of SP and probably will never be allowed back in the church, no matter what...

There's a special term that is used to describe people who will never again be allowed back in Scientology, no matter what.

They're called The Lucky Ones.

... And while we're at it: Anyone think Shelly Miscavige will be seen this weekend?

You don't have the fucking rank to ask that.

Okay - NOW I understand.
Bea Kiddo -- many, many thanks to you for taking the time to write so clearly.

Tommy Davis certainly said many bizarre things - among them, as you kindly point out, that disconnection didn't exist -- but I think Co$ will have him spout even more inanities in connection with the Rathbun v Miscavige case in Texas.
That is, of course, if we don't get to see or hear from Tommy Davis this weekend. :coolwink:
Anyone else think he might have a public role to play this weekend in Clearwater?

JB - And while we're at it: Anyone think Shelly Miscavige will be seen this weekend?

Whatever the reasons Tommy Davis left the SO, it is not good that he did so, along with his wife. It is anti-matter to SO members. Whatever the reasons were they are likely to be the filthiest scum ever, in the child-sized eyes of DM. Leah Remini once asked "Where is Shelly?". Those big-cash prospects at the big event are likely to ask Tom Davis, "Where the fuck have you and your wife been for the last 2 years?"

So they are likely to receive orders to stay away, IMO.

Understood, and thank you, DB for a very well-reasoned, probable scenario.

I'd thought, perhaps, that since Jessica Davis had been rumored within Co$/sea org to have been very, very ill, that this event would be a showcase of sorts for she and Tommy Davis to 'prove' the benefits for the tek.

JB - usually not a cynical person, but with this bunch? I don't believe nuttin' they say or do.

Hi JB,

Yes there was a general amnesty in 1991 that was also for declared SP's as well. There was an issue put out that everyone had to read. After that, you would write up all of your transgressions that you would like to be forgiven for. In the case of someone who was declared an SP, they would have to specifically address those things for which they were declared. It had to be in the write up of transgressions. You had to admit that it was true, whatever you had been SP declared for. And anything else that you wanted to be forgiven for. It was to have everyone start with a clean slate. And the SP declares were lifted at that time.

The amnesty, however, did not apply to certain groups of SP's. Specifically, those who have spoken out about Scn are in another category of SP and probably will never be allowed back in the church, no matter what. So everyone that they had tabs on that they knew were speaking out will never ever ever be allowed back.

-----

And being SP declared anyways is a permanent mark. I think that is one thing that people working on the A to E steps (the steps, under normal circumstances, need to be done in order to get back in good graces with the church) don't understand: They will never ever ever be allowed onto the OT levels if they have been SP declared. I know for a fact, from being a Case Supervisor. I had some cases who had been SP declared, who got back into good graces, trying to move on up the Bridge and they could never ever ever get approved through RTC to do upper levels. SP declare is a permanent mark, no matter what you do. It's the same with Illegal PC status too.

Hi Bea

The current Captain of the FSO was once declared and completed A to E - as far as I know he then went OT.
