nice, i'd like to make something like that for the conditions of being a scientologist for anyone considering it, to be fair they deserve to know exactly what to expect
- you must regularly donate money, around $500k+ if you intend to go to ot8, which they may use to destroy you and harass anyone close to you if you ever leave publicly
- that cost may change, about every year or two typically, causing you to have to start over without complaint, and pass tests, repay for all or parts of it again, every time including replacing the same materials, books, e-meters, films, lectures which you already own
- sign legal contracts that you'll never resell your old emeters, sue the church, or speak about confidential materials at $10k per word
- there is effectively no refund policy
- drop most of your coworkers and friends and replace them with ones that are scientologists
- you must let them schedule your time, besides your regular schedule, an event every other month, frequently including holidays
- commit to at least full time academy schedule which is what 12.5hrs a week?
- be sessionable, meaning well fed and rested at all times, considering the schedule that pretty much means no free time at all and to go home and go directly to bed
- if you're auditing ot levels prepare to spend 4-6 hours a day, for what 10-20 years?
- you cannot become disabled, poor or too old, expect to be dismissed if you do
- you are expected put the church before anything, your job, house, family, friends, holidays, etc.
- be willing to disconnect from anyone that decides to disagree with scientology, including your own family
- willing to never google lrh, scientology or read or speak about anything critical of lrh or scientology
- willing to believe we were all dumped here 75 million years ago by the overlord zenu
- willing to believe that you have probably millions of body thetans, including a few that have bodies in pawn on other planets, and audit all of them till they leave your body
- to support upper management no matter how stupid they are
- you must support an all out war on psychiatry and psychology, any critics or ex members that speak out
- you must confess every secret you've ever had to them, and expect them to use it against you if you leave
- you can't talk about your auditing, your case, the technology, or anything negative, you have to save everything like that for the auditor that you're paying, other than exaggerated and vague speeches about how great it was at events
- you must recommend every part of scientology to others and write them a success story after every course or auditing regardless if you actually liked it or not
- once you are clear or ot you must always put up a front that you are extraordinary, strictly displaying higher tone levels, intelligent, full recall, no aberrations, super powers, never sick, you must always appear in total control of yourself and your environment in every way
- once you are on the ot levels you must join and meet with the ot committee and basically become a part time staff member and essentially follow and report to miscavige
- at this point you're expected to replace all of your own belief systems with lrh's
- if you make it to ot8 you are expected to help clear the planet in hopes of releasing ot9+
- smoking the drug nicotine/tobacco is ok because lrh did that, and he didn't believe smoking causes lung cancer, but no marijuana even if it's legal where you live
i probably missed a bunch but yeah, i really wish i'd known what i was signing up for back in the day...
