I headed off to bed Sunday night and the "Apollo" thread was languishing the entire day and into the evening, apparently :confused2: then this morning, I sign on and find more new material than I would ever dream of to enjoy, digest, ruminate upon - and, time permitting, acknowledge.

One thing specific re the wonderful child prodigy Jackie Evanchko (spelling?) - she was thoroughly lauded and appreciated earlier on the board - Mystic posted her performance on "chatbox" multiple times and I wrote a lengthy (for me) post re the quality of her communication and saying that the only version I could find that had a similar emotional impact on me was a young Maria Callas in a concert performance from around 1960.

So Lakey and JohnnyTMT - I never see you two on chat! :confused2: Do you ever visit there?

I too am at a loss as to how to adequately respond to Johnny's loss of his Carolyn... but then, I expect he knows pretty much exactly how I feel and in time the words will come.

A bunch of us are so much alike that it's really kind of spooky and you are in that motley crew, Sweetie - so there!

Thanks for turning me on to Joan Loosli's number. We really were close for nearly a year just before she got married to Jacob Loosli. They married in 1978 I believe and then I married in 1981. All four of us Joan, Jacob, my wife and me were on lines at ASHO and the Loosli's invited us over for dinner and we reciprocated. When my wife, now ex wife got pregnant in 1982 we went to dinner at the Loosli's and Joan hatted Evy on the ins and outs of pregnancy and she recommended the Le Maas method. Jacob and I became friends of sorts. He really liked his Mateus wine as did I. They came to visit us in Fullerton around 1984 when my Son was about 2 or 3. They had a daughter, Sophie, about 3 1/2 who was platinum blonde and had a very dynamic personality. actially giving orders to boss the grown ups around Their Son, Remi was about 7. We took videos with our old Beta Max camera and still have them. I last watched them around 1991. After that, many of Joan's musical associates went over to Mayo's AAC and Joan and Jacob sorted of sided with Mayo while I, like an idiot, sided with C of S. As a result our going to one another's homes socially came to an end. I did call Joan to invite her to something around 1986 and she told me that she had split up with her husband. he called me personally twice. He was upset with the situation and wanted my take on it. He went back to Switzerland to think things over. He wrote me a letter stating that he considered me a friend and thought we would see each other again in this life. I responded with dittos but have not heard from him since then. He is a very nice man. I never saw Joan again either after about 1985, maybe 1986 and I met her in 1977 so we had an 8 or 9 year run as really good friends.

Joan and Susan put on a concert where they both sang at Joan residence in 1978. The Todhunter's parents were there as were both my parents. What a concert it was. Susan sang one of my favoite arias from Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, "Vedrai Carino" and I believe Joan sang "Che faro sensa Euridice" from Glucks' Iphegenia in Aulide, another of my favoites. I requested those two arias from them. Susan sang another Aria from Verdi, I believe, which was one of her personal favorites. It is about a tormented woman singing, "I lived for art and art alone so why am I forsaken and unhappy" Susan sang that aria at every recital I ever saw her give.

On Barber Shoppe Quartets, I have a limited experience. Every spring the City of Fullerton has their downtown district closed off to cars and holds a huge night time extravaganza called a night in Fullerton. They always had a barber shop quartet singing at a downtown Fullerton Church and I saw several of those. I went with Finished man to the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda in 2007, maybe early 2008 to a Barber Shoppe Quartet concert which was extremely good. Occasionally I would see groups performing on the streets at Disney land.

With my good memory, I would here many of the songs sung in movies and such and know so many of the lyrics by heart. My favorites are "A bicycle built for two", "Down by the old mill stream", "Down by the riverside" "Come away with me Lucille, in my merry Oldsmobile."

I duplicate you. For me, there is still a very alive "WHO" stuck to the OT identity that retired into that cave. The robotic-ness that ensued til the end of that cycle has faded. The last time I stirred that sleeping python it put me back to sleep. We leave so many parts of ourselves abandoned in and about this universe in an effort to escape into newer more hopeful goals. Scientology was like honey to a bee. But then it seemed like fly paper. I feel the pathos in this.

I was a bit late, driving in from Orange County and I was told she was running around saying, "Where's Gary, Where's Gary, I can't start without him" As it turned out, at most I was two minutes late. I parked my car in the CCLA parking lot and ran in to the recital.

Yes, by all means, let's set up a dinner reunion. Its a shame ex wifie, Evy won't be there. I could probably get her to come because she and Joan had developed a bit of a fiendship in the 80's but I don't think it would be in good taste to invite her. I could come stag or I could probably get Edey from Kangen water to come or Purple Haze might be interested in coming. I would love to bring Edey, she would fit in the best. She is a mixer with great people skills, Purple would also fit nicely or I could just go stag.

Some things are meant to be, Johnny, and a reunion with you, Joan and her family and me just seems so "in the cards".

On the Desire to Admire and Retire the Misery

:confused2: At breakfast at Denny's this morning I sat contemplating the beautiful compassion of Ikwedblds, EP-Ethics Particle, Pepin, SweetnessandLight, and the many other beings I can FEEL who seek to assist me in my Desire to Admire and Retire the Misery I went through with Carolyn, and other miseries I have known.

Although I have greatly overused the phrase, this willingness and ability to duplicate and understand me, means so much to me.

At breakfast I wondered once again why I sometimes want to share with others the magnitude of pain and misery I encountered. (and/or created)

I find that, at times, I am creating and energizing ideas that are the essence of a classic problem. "a series of conflicting ideas on the same subject".

On the one hand, I create the idea that all I want for myself, and anyone else who wants it, is love, joy, fun and a state on ongoing ecstasy that is so totally satisfying, it can't possibly get any better, and then it gets better. (This is the kind of love I experienced three times - the kind I was referring to in Post # 5490, the kind that makes reality transforming OT car-teleporting experiences seem like nothing)

On the other hand, I create the idea and desire to have someone duplicate the extent of the misery I went through (And/or created). I want to give all the details, and get all the acknowledgment and duplication I feel I need to retire the desire to have anything to do with misery. Yet I "know" that focusing on crap is crap, and can lead to more crap. On the other hand, it can lead to the vanish-ment of carp when a loving being, or beings, who are able to compassionately duplicate the magnitude of the insanity and misery we create,do so. I remember Ron saying once. "If you think you can suffer now, wait until your OT."

Not a very enticing invitation to be OT, except when you realize that it is capacity to experience that has increased as a result of your shedding your "Limitation Mastery" abilities. (By the way, I have never felt that it was "necessary" to have misery to really experience joy. I find I can experience joy just fine without having to be aware of it's opposite.)

Yesterday I had a fantastic experience guiding a person I am training to be a Wizard Counselor (My name for a master Description Processing (Phoenix Lectures chapter) Auditor). I brought her, and myself, to a acute "mind and crap blowing" awareness that we are OT (Aware of our God-Self that never really went away) when we fully realize that we are creating it all.

So why do we create crap that we suffer from? And why do we then need or want someone exterior to us to see and acknowledge the magnitude of misery we created?

Maybe we are simply egoically seeking a Cosmic academy award for pushing the boundaries of stupidity far beyond the current capability of The Gods to duplicate and comprehend. And then we wonder why we need "The God's of Earth" to duplicate us. For it seems, that it is only those who are "Misery Making Masters", who have also somehow survived being the effect of their own creations, that have the capacity to duplicate, admire and retire the magnitude of misery and stupidity we "Gods of Earth" create.

So in conclusion, I truly do desire to admire and retire the crap, and I love and admire your compassion and willingness to assist me to do so.

So with regards to all the crap we made, may I invite us all, to raise our right hand and arm in a BOLD Italian Gesture and say to ourselves, and the Multi-Verse,

"With regard to all the pain, misery, crap and Limitations we orchestrated so masterfully into existence,
Forget About It!!!"

These things would never occur in Barshar's 4th Density reality. Therefore they would never be confronted. It seems that only in this 3rd Density reality do we have the confront or stupidity to create things that seem to exceed our ability to tolerate.

Love has been the greatest of all experiences for me. At times, it far exceeded all of the reality transforming magic I was blessed with. The apparent loss of this love, or the apparentcy of it being tuned to pain and misery, is the greatest pain I have known. It is a game of Limitation Mastery and Suffering that I wish to ADMIRE AND RETIRE FOREVER, and maybe that is what this life of transition is all about, the discovery in depth that we have created it all, so that we may at last be done with games of suffering and misery.
