Lakey is the zealot.

Ok, I thought you were talking about the accusations that FBM posted, that turned out to be wrong, since they were saying that CO2 was Carmichael. I don't know FMB and of course don't know if FMB is zealot in actions or not. Zealot also seems too strong for Lakey. I don't see him defending CoS all the time here? I scrolled through the earlier posts and didn't see what Lakey did? Since he was not really talking about Scn, was in some car talk? So I was confused. The only Scn-related post recently was FBM.

I just realized!

I just remembered that Scn thing "fair roads"?

I guess I am a bit like that, always wish to stay up. Although that is not the Scn procedure on how they handle their exes (SPs). [As far as I know.]

But I am just naturally high like that, and it has nothing to do with them or the snake 'tech.'

Aren't plenty of wogs positive and happy? Sure. And they never heard of that Fair Roads BS policy. Since when is being human a 'policy' anyway!

When things get nasty I just go off and find a sunny part of the beach to swim at. I don't like fighting.

I like information, like all the stories of the exes and updates on the various news and lawsuits and that an ex won. But I don't like to fight AMONG the exes, as if we were enemies to each other. I have no choice but to give everyone benefit of the doubt -- assume we all really are exes -- since I have no way to know who is who here. I can only decide how to treat someone based on their actions toward me. If I or other posters here are treated brutishly I find that completely unnecessary. Unfortunately my brain doesn't usually realize what is happening so for a while, as the thing is 'in progress', I just try to be nice and resolve the upset, not realizing the upset is on purpose and has no resolution.

noun: Zealot; plural noun: Zealots

Being a Zealot for CoS? I think I got some gains off of TR0 and TR2 and told Lotus, I found the tone scale useful but I advise everyone not to do OT3 and spend years on NOTS. I say that the weekly system of stat gathering every Thursday has some benefits but a lot of major drawbacks, one being the absence of any long range planning. I just take each item of tech one by one, item by item, some of them I like and many of them I don't like. The worst case is when I like an item in Sci tech but Cos does not actually use that item, they do just the opposite.

"For example, "If it's not true for you, it is not true". I love the tenet and practice it but CoS will not allow it to be used inside the church. That item has only applied to two scientologists in the entire history of scientology and those are LRH and DM and I am not even sure whether or not LRH was actually a Scientologist. He created the tech but most of it he did no follow himself.

Look at the synonyms in the definition above. A zealot is a fanatic, a diehard, a true believer. an activist, a militant. No people in those categories would evaluate each tenet in a religion item by item and like some and dislike others. Such a zealot in ancient Rome would have most likely ended up in a pit fighting off hungry lions in the Roman Coliseum.

Yes, FBM is certainly a zealot. Thanks for pointing out.

I mean that because so angry and attacking other exes, CO2.
He wrote that CO2 was in the video but that was not CO2 in the video.
Unless CO2 really is OT and shape-shifted into John Carmichael.

Assumptive emotional positioning is what $cientologists do. Derp. That was Carmelo-C02 and he's Not an Ex, he's a $cientologist with a very unsavory friendship with OSA (Bob Adams). And the newbs deserve to know it for their own informed protection.

Speaking of zealots, you being the public relations representative for $cientologists, cult sympathizers and cult apologists on this thread is becoming a tad creepy.

Good, now everyone knows your point and any new persons reading here can see it. But what is it you want since I think you are not yet satisfied with that result?

Wogs (which is what in essence I am except for 5 years of my life) qualify now as cult sympathizers and apologists?

Where have I ever blessed CoS? Have you even read my blog posts?

I know: I was informed long ago they are too bossy, preachy, gurulike, oh, and don't forget long, blah blah blah.

On second thought don't bother to read them since they probably hurt the brain.

By all means and in advance, just assume my blog posts are CoS sympathetic. I don't want disturb your world picture.

I think the tern you are calling "Fair Roads" is "Good Roads, Good Weather"

You know, a couple is angry with their daughter because she dropped out of a Dental Technician's School to study at her local CoS. The girl moves to another town and they don't speak to each other for a year and then without notice the parents send her a box full of her old clothes. The girl wants to love bomb her parents but she checks with her ethics officer first. The E.O. says for her to write a restrained reply to the parents using "Good Roads, Good Weather, i.e. she writes them about how nice the weather has been, asks about how they are feeling, maybe sends then a recipe from a magazine, maybe tells them a new road was put in which cuts her driving time to get to her market. That is "Good Roads, Good Weather in action.

Also, I don't see what Lakey did to cause anyone's wrath. Unlike me he is probably using some tech still, or at least in his mind, goes to it. There are other posters that do too.

Can't each person just make their own way out of Scn or are there rules about that? Who sets those rules?

I don't see why this particular thread suddenly became a war zone or threatens to. But I am not going to join in any mud slinging.

If someone here wants to argue with me or among ourselves about tech or CoS, please, have at it on any topic. But name calling doesn't work.

Thanks, Maria! I really think you capture the essence of why there are war zones between exes;

I was looking at this in terms of other religions., Judaism for example. When the religion began, everyone was an Orthodox Jew and followed a rigid set of laws. The sexes were separated and men's rights were far greater than women's. Everyone kept Kosher, observed dietary laws, observed the Sabbath, etc. The men all had to have beards, their clothing was strange, they prayed in Hebrew, etc. etc. That is all I know about it because I was never even remotely involved.

Later on, a group broke away and called itself Conservative Judaism. They still prayed in Hebrew but they could drive in cars on the Sabbath, all men didn't have to have beards, women could pray with the men, etc. In other words, the Conservative Jews are exes vis a vis Orthodox Jewry.

Eventually that brand of Judaism became too strict for some and an even more liberal brand of Judaism was created, called Reformed Judaism. In Reformed Judaism, I've seen young couples come to temple in shorts and T shirts, the services are conducted in English. The men are clean shaven, men and women have exactly the same rights. Really, it is very similar to a Christian church except the Star of David replaces the cross and the New Testament is not studied.

You could say that the Reformed Jews are exes to the Conservatives and the Orthodox. In the case of Judaism, they are all considered Jews. The term ex Jews does not exist. The Orthodox look down their noses at both Conservative and Reform Jews. They consider them to be "Goyim", none Jews, but if they want to pray, using Jewish prayers, that is fine.

Probably the Conservatives show the most tolerance being willing to intereact with both of the other factions and the Reformed are willing to do the same. You don't find any wars going on between those three factions of the religion. They have enough enemies without fighting among themselves and creating even more enemies.

Ex scientologists, however tend to fight among themselves and certainly with CoS. That should not be the case, there is no need for that. Also, the' orthodo'x Scientologist should not fight with the exes in my opinion. The correct analysis would be to shrug and tell them that they are getting watered down tech. But Hubbard wrote policies and copyrighted his materials and ordered his adherents to attack and destroy exes. You simply don't see that with other religions. Can you imagine Catholics on the war path, disconnecting from those who want to practice Catholocism outside the official church?.

Some Christian sects practice shunning but they don't have private investigators and teams of lawyers out in the general public hassling their exes. CoS is the only church who is doing that which is just more proof that CoS are not really a church, it is a for profit business cloaked to look like a church so as to obtain tax exempt status and evade minimum wage laws and extra pay for overtime laws.

If he thinks you are pro CoS Maria, it is pretty clear that he HAS NOT read any of your posts or blogs. I am starting to learn more about this class of poster. I see them not reading any posts themselves but having an aide or two culling posts, looking for keywords. Based on keywords some sort of generalized attack post is concocted blaming you for being pro CoS. The fact that you are not pro CoS, matters not to them; accuracy or stating the truth is of no interest to this type of poster. The less accurate the post, the more confusion it causes!

You will never see any specific sentence or concept in your post being cited and/or being criticized because no one involved in writing the attack postshas actually read your post. Somebody has skimmed many of your posts for key words and all future responses to you are made up from these key words, probably using some sort of template. If you research posts from this poster, you are likely to see that there are no specifics, tailored to respond directly to something which you recently wrote. Instead, what you find are generalized attacks about criticizing you for being something exactly the opposite of what you are trying to be.

This is all just conjecture on my part but I am pretty sure that I am on the right track with this theory. To see the obvious, that is what it takes to figure this type of garbage out! It isn't very pretty, and it is hard to confront ugliness of this magnitude. Sorry for the downer so now the good new, cheer up, a simple stroke of the IGNORE key will make this problem go away fast!

Yes, very good point you make. Whoever wrote the Hat write up which they use must have been aware of that fact. Thus, the senior person in the group never reads posts. Possibly they might skim a post, looking for key words but actually reading a post, I doubt if that is allowed.

Sure, with the calibur of some of the posts here and on other threads, if operatives read high quality posts on a continual basis, probably a certain percentage of them would leave CoS. Sure CoS is too smart to allow that to happen. I'm sure reading the posts must be forbidden. Maybe teams culling the posts work in teams to two so as to insure that no one actually reads a post.
