PS: Years ago I was at a dinner party given by a wonderful married couple that were very dear friends. They were lovely, gracious and dynamic and loving parents of three beautiful children. Sadly, both my friends passed on too soon but my life has been so enriched by their presence.

They were gracious entertainers. He was a first rate, very successful Farm and Ranch Real Estate Broker and had the most amazing and entertaining “gift of gab” and “disarming charm” of anyone I have ever known. She was the cutest, sweetest “country gal” you’d ever meet. We were celebrating a sizable “Deal” we had just done together and he was really “on”.

The meal was fabulous country comfort food and the finest libations, conversation and merriment were flowing. When my host and hostess went to the kitchen to serve desert I went to the restroom and, on my way there, passed by the kitchen. She was holding her arms around him, backs turned to me, saying, “Honey, I love you so much. I’m so proud of you. Please, please…just once in awhile…please treat me like a client. Okay?”

This is a really nice post, Face........in amongst some of the other posters here who chose to insult women and use tricks to manipulate them, which can be rather upsetting to a woman. I'm sorry you consider yourself a 2 time loser. You sound like a really nice guy. I hope you find your soul mate. :hug:

This little story is priceless Facey, I'm so glad you shared it!

Thanks for telling the truth here: "Givers do best with givers and takers do best with takers. A giver and a taker together can last for years but, ultimately, won’t make it. Sometimes both and other times one or the other, usually the taker, will have "had enough”. (I'm taking this advice to heart, Uncle Facey!!!:blush:)

Lakey has several possible new careers looming on the horizen!

Lakey, I've been reading your seesion reports all along though I have refrained from commenting on them thus far. But now I can't hold it in any longer.

I see you as having developed one AWESOME healing ability. Absolutely WELL DONE to you and the work you are doing. I wish you strength and success without bounds.

Congratulations!

He's had this ability for years but I think he's getting better and better at it, more flow, less effort. Lakey has forgotten that he worked on my very disfunctional thumb and hand (now nearly completely healed) when we went to the Many's Christmas party last year! :happydance: It really helped me to get back in fuller communication with my hand (to put it in Scientological terms:coolwink:) and I am very grateful!

I can attest to his abilities as a totally tuned in bodyworker! :D

This kinda stuff is very valued and agreed upon here in California! :coolwink:

That's it!!!

Thanks Face. Appreciated.

re women - the way to handle them is very easy - just go belly-up and give them the impression they're in charge. Then just wait for the moment when they need a strong shoulder to cry on (it will come soon enough) and then be there for them.

They'll be your obedient slaves for life.:happydance::happydance:

O.K., I didn't put it in these terms, but Lakey, this is what I meant regarding how to handle your new close ladyfriend! :)

Leon, you are just brilliant! :happydance:

Yippee!!!

To continue my story about the massage technique I use, I will pick it up the next day at the Dinner Party in Fullerton. Edey immediately demanded her treatment which I gave and then came Dave, a guy around 50. His case was very interesting as follows...

Dave had a car accident 6 weeks earlier which messed up the left side of the neck. Then on the right side of his neck, there was a smaller messed up area not due to the car accident. Last, he had a trigger middle finger on his left hand where the finger was curling up and he could not straighten it.

I had him do a date/locate on the car accident, massaged the neck for 10 minutes or so without much talking and then tried to pull up a picture from the car accident. I got a faint picture of a short scene of maybe 3 or 4 seconds, I told him what I saw and he started isaing about it and started blowing charge about it. I believe the other driver had taken a large bit of some drug before driving and as a result, he plowed into Dave. Dave was upset that the police only checked for alcohol abuse so this guy was not locked up by the police. I place my hand on the top of his head and found a point where a lot of discharge was occuring, I held it and let the energy run through me into the ground. I then went back and massage the neck another 10 minutes or so, and it seemed like it was almost back to normal. I then cleared up the pain on the other side of the neck plus the locked finger. I did date locates on those and then found some content relating to the incidents which occurred just before those pen started. When I was done in just less than an hour, the guy was like a new man.

After Edey and Dave, Franky, the host of the party and one of Edey's best male friends wanted a session. He gives some sort of massage oriented energy therapy himself out of an office he has in the courtyard of a luxury hotel in downtown Fullerton. M., who I massaged Saturday, comes in twice a week and works at his office.

I gave Franky a massage session and succesfully picked off several thoughts of his and handled his out of alignment neck and back with ease in less than 30 minutes. He was highly impressed and wanted to do his routine on me which he did. First he had me bend over at a table and then he dug his elbow into my lower back on the right and there was a pop and something went into place then he repeated that on the right with another pleasant pop. He then placed his hand around my torso and without touching me made many unusual motions. I started to wobble and loose my balance and got a bit of disorientation and sea sickness. The treatment took about 15 minutes and I felt more energetic. He said that he detected a weak prostate and thyroid function and that his would help those.

A NEW CAREER FOR LAKEY?
I then gave another guy a routine session and then two more people want sessions from me. I had done 4 Saturday night and 4 Sunday night so I told them I was done for the night. As I was getting ready to leave, Franky approached me and gave me his card. He offered to let me work at his downtown Fullerton office and said he and M. have a large clientel and he could flow me a lot of clients. He is charging between $75 to $90 for a 45 minute session plus $140 for a preliminary interview and session which takes two hours. I said that I would love to work with him and I am supposd to go to his office and meet him early this week and iron out a deal and see what kind of exchange he wants for promoting me.

Also, at the house where the dinner party was held, the husband was out of town and I was talking to the wife and noticed a fully remodeled kitchen which I commented on. I told her that I was a remodeler. She got all excited and said that her husband specialized in only kitchen cabinets and granite and that his business was booming since he was doing work mostly for hotels and not individual home owners. She said that he is frequently asked to recommend a contractor but doesn't know anyone. She asked for my card and said that he will start refering me. I told her, I would work out a compensation fee for any work which they sent my way. I was blown away by the two offers related to me getting more work, especially the thought of doing the massage and pyschic healing technology but then it would also be nice to rebuild my remodeling business as well. I could soon return to having a nice income and that would be fantastic. Both of these job offers relate back to me being connected to Edey so our soul mates with no romance agreement is bearing fruit!

I knew it!!! :happydance: Go team! :D

Well, on this subject of relationships :D

My sweet Virginia has a rather elegant little statement on her "clever ideas board" . . . it's a board to which she pastes "thoughts for the day" and stuff like that which she wants to be reminded of.

The statement is: "When wants are aligned, the energy then flows."

I think that trumps both hormones and "chemistry," and all the other cliches on what sparks what in the game :yes:

Aussie Senate Inquiry Report on Charitable Groups Tax ExemptionIn

Breaking news for our readership! :happydance:

AN Exerpt from the report:

"Recommendation
The Committee recommends that the incoming government work through COAG to establish a single independent national commission for not-for-profit
organisations. The incoming government should establish a working group, or
use the COAG Business Regulation and Competition Working Group. The
working group should consult extensively with the sector in a timely manner toaddress issues arising from the establishment of a commission which applies a public benefit test. The Australian model should draw on the Charity Commissions in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Recommendation

The Committee recommends that the working group consider the functions and role of an Australian commission which should include, but not be limited to, the following:
promote public trust and confidence in the charitable sector;
encourage and promote the effective use of charitable resources;
develop and maintain a register of all not-for-profit organisations in
Australia using a unique identifying number (for example an ABN) as the identifier;
develop and maintain an accessible, searchable public interface;
undertake either an annual descriptive analysis of the organisations that
it regulates or provide the required information annually to the ABS for
collation and analysis;
educate and assist charities in relation to matters of good governance and
management;
facilitate, consider and process applications for registration as charitable
entities;
process annual returns submitted by charitable entities;
supply information and documents in appropriate circumstances for the
purposes of the Tax Acts;
monitor charitable entities and their activities to ensure that registered
entities continue to be qualified;
inquire into charitable entities and persons engaging in serious wrongdoing in connection with a charitable entity;
monitor and promote compliance with legislation;consider, report and make recommendations in relation to any matter relating to charities;
and stimulate and promote research into any matter relating to charities.
The Committee would expect a commission to adopt a tiered reporting system to ensure that small not-for-profit organisations are not overburdened by the costs ofcompliance.

The Committee would expect legislation establishing a commission to be referred to it in due course.

A public benefit test
The Committee supports the application of a public benefit test in the context of broader reform.

The Committee agrees, however, with the preference expressed by the Scrutiny of Bills Committee that it would be better for a public benefit test to be in legislation, where it would be subject to more parliamentary scrutiny, than be set by a minister through regulations, as proposed by the bill.

Recommendation
The Committee recommends that the incoming government should follow the
emerging international best practice and work with the Council of Australian
Governments to amend legislation governing not-for-profit entities to include a definition and test of 'public benefit'.

Cults

In relation to the activities of cult like organisations and the consequences for individuals and society of failing to take steps to protect the community from unacceptable behaviour by cult like organisations, the Committee believes that sufficient evidence was put before it to suggest that the behaviour of cults should be reviewed with a view to developing and implementing a policy on this issue that goes beyond taxation law. The Committee notes the evidence in relation to the response of the French government and the establishment of Miviludes.

Recommendation
The Committee recommends that the Attorney-General's Department provide a report to the Committee on the operation of Miviludes and other law
enforcement agencies overseas tasked with monitoring and controlling the
unacceptable and/or illegal activities of cult-like organisations who use
psychological pressure and breaches of general and industrial law to maintain
control over individuals. The report should advise on the effectiveness ofMiviludes and other similar organisations, given issues that need to be addressed to develop an international best practice approach for dealing with cult-like behaviour."

Hey, Face . . . I'm reading you're only a two time loser in this male/female game . . . I've sort of lost count :duh: :D

But then, with vast experience based on numerous tries at it, eventually one must arrive at some sort of success, no? :blush:

But then, I think I've got a fair few miles on my chronometer than most here . . . so I'm entitled to a few more errors :yes:

But yes, we have a good scene going me and V. She is a sweetness even if I want to strangle her on occasion . . . it's just that I'm such a Saint that I'm able to resist :D

But I loved your dissertation above . . . it shows everyone can be a winner even while being human . . . hey, that gives us all some hope!

However, on your theme of the distinctions between men and women, one of the things I wrote in the context of them interfacing in corporate America is that while men may dominate in the executive suite, women are actually better managers.

And there is a reason for it . . . women tend to seek to understand WTF and get along with each other (and the men in the environment), whereas men tend to seek to dominate (they seem to think they must "lead").

It's a wild phenomenon . . . research has shown it even exists in young children down at the 4-6 year-old stage. But that's a tale for another time.

To Leon and Sweetness

He's had this ability for years but I think he's getting better and better at it, more flow, less effort. Lakey has forgotten that he worked on my very disfunctional thumb and hand (now nearly completely healed) when we went to the Many's Christmas party last year! :happydance: It really helped me to get back in fuller communication with my hand (to put it in Scientological terms:coolwink:) and I am very grateful!

I find the compliment from Leon very exhillarating and validative. Leon knows his tech and to receive a compliment from Leon means an awful lot to me!! Also, Sweetness, thanks for your support too. You know, it is true that I do not remember working on your thumb at the Many's Xmas party. I am so glad to hear that the thumb is starting to heal due to improved communication. Its funny how memory works, I can remember how Gary York parted his hair back in 1972 though I only met him 3 times and I can't remember giving you an assist just last December! Amazing!

I've noticed I am having trouble remembering the sessions just from last Saturday and last Sunday, of which there were 4 given each day. I think the sessions deal with as-ising pictures and discharging energy and tend to focus on erasure and as a result, I am partially erasing the sessions in my own mind as I go.

Roger's omment from V
I agree with V as to the alignment of the wants in a proposed relationship. Edey told me she wants her income to be only secondary income and not to exist so as to pay the bills of a household. She feels that is the man's hat. Right now, my income is nil so until there is an upturn, energy may not flow as regards a romantic liason between her and I.

Absolutely, to both of you. Men are all too often too busy "being important" to actually bother with what is important. Women, on the otherhand, are usually accustomed to having to take care of what actually NEEDS doing as well as cleaning up other people's messes.

I vote we create a socialist state and elect women into the leadership roles. Then the guys can go argue sports (or musical theater :thumbsup:) over pizza (veggie :thumbsup:) & beer (or ice tea :thumbsup:) while the women fix the messes men have created.

I'll take the Gridiron and a thin crust pepperoni with Italian sausage, black olives, bell peppers, onions and extra cheese...and an extra tall Porter…otherwise, I’m with you all the way on this, MAB.:D

Uh oh, the secret's OUT!!! :melodramatic:

Most women are sensitive to being absorbed by the agendas of the stronger male in a relationship. They like to know they will not be dominated in such a way that they will lose their own identities.
For me though the problem has always been that I am too ....too......I dunno..... just too whatever....The men in my life always seem to dramatize a fear that they will end up in the losing valence because of me. They preemptively retalliate. I am not a threat and never like to hurt anyone. I do not need to be right...unless you are driving more than 15 miles over the speed limit!!! My entire life I have had to experience a 'dance' where I am shown that I do not have the upper hand and am definitely not in the securest postion. What it is about me that causes a male to react like he must protect himself from the possibility of sliding onto the losing side of the seewaw.... I do not know. I'm friendly and giving, and like to laugh. There seems always to be eventually a bruiser of a show....just to make SURE that I know whatever........But maybe this sort of thing is common in human relationships and I just have no skin for it.
I gave up. But you know this doesn't just happen in 2D relationships. It only hurts more in 2D relationships. I have never felt I deserved the preemptive displays of another's stronger 'position'. This is Neanderthal. I have looked for a being in my space who did not want me to 'win' at a loving relationship. Maybe someone I hurt in the past who has stuck to me.

This is somewhat complex - I am trying to understand it.

To me, trying to absorb a woman's identity is unthinkable. I am of the "granting of beingness" school of interaction. I've run past life pictures, being a woman myself. Why absorb a woman's personality? I don't get it!

It seems you must be putting out something which is intimidating to men. A man with any perception should be able to perceive that you are no threat to his manhood. A highly educated woman holding some sort of certificate or degree in a technical field having to do with life, seems to pose a problem for many men. For myself, when I encounter a Purple Haze, Class 8 auditor with a masters degree in psychology or a Diana Class 8, I have to accomodate the fact that hey have much more technical training than I do. It is a bit awkward of a position to be in. Most women want a strong take charge type of guy and yet, if she is more technically trained in some major field than a man, it does seem to put many men into a position of feeling compromised as to their manhood. A lot depends on the woman. If she flaunts her higher certification, most men are going to look elsewhere.

One way out for a man in such a situation would be for him to be much more highly certified in some other field of endeavor such as in medicine. engineering, architecture or mainly in business. If the man is rich or has high certificates in some major field then he can approach his relationship, "In areas of the psyche, I will listen to you and in areas of finance, architecture and building design, you will be dancing to my tune." These words are not voiced but they are understood by both parties. Without something of this nature, a very strong woman may scare off a lot of men.

I do not like a pushy woman who is pedantic and wishes to micro manage. This valence is characterized in the persona of the Jewish "Yenta" After my Mom died in 1994, 55 years into her marriage with my Dad, my Dad took up with a classic Yenta. Neither Evy nor myself really accepted her. At ifrst we tried to be polite but Evy had a show down with her and there was a complete break. Being my Dad, I did not completely break with the Yenta but tried to be civil but also tried not to be present much when she was around.

A strong woman who is spiritually aware and has a lot of tech under her belt is a different matter. Maybe it was intimidation but I never pursued such a woman as a 2 D. In my Org days as a single guy in my 30's, I always only pursued women who had admin posts or who were public but never highly trained technically posted women.

Your problem might not be you but rather the men you are getting involved with. It seems to me, a man comfortable in his own skin will never be threatened by a strong woman or a strong willed, educated woman. The man has to know who his is and be competent and express assurances in himself for his areas of achievement. If he has that background, there should be no problem provided the man has some kind of "handle" on his case, i.e. that he is in good case shape and is not dramatizing a lot of out of valence roles which he has picked up from society. Such men are around in finite numbers. I am one myself and meet others all the time. For some reasons, probably aberation and dramatization, many of society's most attractive women do not seek out we well grounded men. They fly like a moth into a light bulb towards a real macho, dramatizing psycho who is supposed to be a "man's man." The women take a real loss but keep coming back for more, somehow thinking that they can reform the out of valence psychotic male. It is identical to someone trying to reform C of S from within. So many have thought that they could cause reform in something completely psychotic and have paid a heavy price in their failed efforts to do so.

I never liked the machismo. Never tolerated anyone who would hit a woman for a second. I have meditated on my situation at length. I think that in relationships as in clusters, the strongest determinism gets to have his/her postulates dominate the direction of the game. I think it is survival not to end up being the lesser or more subservient. I DO think it is a 'primitive' instinct to act on this. I have always liked 'techy' types or geeks. In the past I often blamed my JOB for the way men felt they needed to treat me. Many of my family members work in Vegas and semi nudity can be part of the floor show. I worked for a decade or so in gentlemen's clubs and then in regular night spots as a bartender. It is possible that I was regarded as easily bored with a predilection for easy transfer of affections. I was really quite the hermit, a real solitary gal. Maybe my position made me threatening to another's sureness about me. Just guessing. When you work in an environment that long it just does not occur to you any more that someone would regard you as loose or amoral. Your long term co-workers are such average guys with kids and a mortgage.
I have never been a pushy woman who likes to m icro manage. My big mistake has always been to have no demands and no strings with a lets just follow what we feel like and make no specific plans attitude. I guess even this kind of noncommital ness could give the impression that I was not smitten enough to trust. I got offered a ring a lot only to turn them down. I never shunned the man himself, just the ring. Maybe I was sending a hurtful message that the guy wasn't good enough and did not realize it. I just have the worst OUT INT of anyone ever born and would like to keep separate apartments and maybe my own bed. (well, sometimes). I was an attractive young woman for most of my adult life, but maybe my being so cavalier and brushing off feelings of commitment drew out the 'spurned' aspect of my guy. I wasn't really travelling anywhere to be worrisome about. Just needed to know that the back door was always left open in case of a fire.

Fundamental agreements need to be made up front.

Obviously you are extremely bright and in your youth were extremely attractive. That means you are still attractive now beacause though youth my fade away a woman's intrinsic beauty remains.

If I may be so bold as to state my opiniion, I will do so in my characteristic Lakey manner of bluntly stating what I percieve to be the apparent truth based on the data which you are giving the board.

Okay, you speak as if you have it all figured out. Either you have figure-figured on this area for lengthy periods or more likely you have meditated on it for lengthy periods. If there has been a lot of figure-figure, then the answers you have arrived at are certainly not the correct answers. If your answer come from meditation then undoubtedly, you have unearth some truths. Still, you do not seem to be flat on this area (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG). It just seems to me that if you were flat in the area, you would be writing differently, maybe similar content but some difference in the quality of the communication.

I believe firmly that if there is serious major attraction between a man and a woman, this would also apply to same sex couples, the two parties have to sit down and work out agreements, type them up and officially agree on them with a signature. Its fun to talk to your romantic interest about your goals and your shared interests.

I have this lady friend Edey and we have talked on this and our goals are 100 % in alignment. It was fun to engage in these conversations with her. What a shock to me that she claims I am her soul mate but not her life partner due to missing chemistry. Fortunately, I had tech to use to keep me uptone when I received this data. I think chemistry, in this case is a synonym for money but that is another matter.

For you, I do not truly believe that you have moved on, I believe that you still have enough physical beauty to atrract desirable men. If this is the case and again, please correct me if I am wrong, I would advise you that when you meet a man, and you are offered a ring, just tell him that you want to sit down with him and discuss personal goals, and as Roger's wife V says, "wants". If your goals, motivations and wants are in alignment, you could either accept an engagement ring or turn down the ring and suggest a trial period of living together with these shared goals in mind and see if the goals theory works in practice.

As to sleeping in different areas, I know from experience that this is more common than what people suspect. Some people are very light sleepers and constant tossing and turning by thier parnters causes wakeing up and snoring by one of the partners, usually the male is impossible for some to deal with. My ex wife, even with her new boy friend, told me that after their love making, they sleep in different rooms because he snores. I have heard this from other couples who are very much in love.

I offer my views to you respectfully with no effort to evaluate or invalidate you. I am just being myself and offering my honest opiniion in the hope that it may be helpful to you. If it is not, just discard it but I am finding more and more than I am often right on these types of opinions. I hope this is so in your case. You seem to be a very fine person with deep incites into life!
