Now THAT'S what I'm talkin 'bout! :D :happydance:

LOL at you guys cruising Int Base! :happydance: Very well done, Bent!!!

If only you had Anon masks and had stopped at the front gate guard shack, to throw the base into lockdown mode ...that would have thrown them into a tizzy! :nervous: I don't know what they are so afraid of...CI (counter intention) is VERY massy to them, I guess! :p

Isn't his building a sweet old thing, over a hundred years old! (I'll dredge up a picture for our readers here.) Glad you got a lovely tour of it and downtown Riverside, a fun place to be! :) Good food, great art and culture!

Good for you, Lakey and Purple Haze! I'm glad Bent was open to the visit and I'm sure it was a great one! Very well done, Lakey, for inviting Purple Haze along. Do not let that wonderful woman slip out of your life! You two are great uptone Exes for him to pal around with and show the highlights of beautiful downtown Riverside, and take a gander at the compound out at Gilman Hot Springs. You got the royal tour!!!

Bent is a wonderful man, with a very fine mind. I'm very proud to know him! So glad you all connected and had a great day together...I think this will help pave the way for us to have a fun reunion/gathering in Riverside some day! :happydance:

I think Exes heal much better and faster when in contact and communication with each other. It's so much better not to feel isolated. And in some ways, only one who has also "been there" can fully understand, on a deeper level than most well meaning friends can.

Hurrah for a fun day! :happydance:

I can just imagine the reaction if somebody had a searchlight powerful enough to project a "V for Vendetta" mask image onto a cloud above Gold Base, like the Batman signal.

A few notes on this relationships thing :D . . .

All relationships are based on reciprocation between the parties to a relationship. It is a two-way flow. (Of course, Hubbard had to bastardize this and misapply his notion of "exchange" to it instead.)

However, the big question becomes: Flow of what?

Well, that question is answered by looking at the truths of what is "needed and wanted."

Alan Walter wrote a whole technology on the subject of "Abuse." The big discovery in the area is that "abuse" is the giving (enforcing on) a person what they don't want, and/or the denying them what they do want.

In society, this is so routinely done, folks just don't recognize it for what it is. Hats comments on this as an aspect of the jobs she did . . . the routine deal was that the males (customers) in the area saw her as something other than she truly was and thus ran on her what she didn't want.

But it occurs as a routine thing in most nearly all human relationships . . . look at almost any "2D": do the partners involved in it really know or appreciate why it is they are involved with each other, what they each truly want and expect? And by this I mean, truly, deep down want and expect?

Some get involved simply because the "chemistry" seems to be there . . . err, umm, that's a body thing. That doesn't go very far  Once the newness or the energy of it is discharged, then bloody what? Do you want to be stuck with a mere body for a relationship? What do you think the "seven year itch" is all about? It's being bored with the body thing!

An ideal relationship is one wherein the parties to it are knowingly facilitating, empowering and co-creating to and with each other on their known and agreed needs and wants.

And just as an indication on how important wants are, one must realize that wants precede one's intentions and doingness . . . wants are the reason and driving force behind our dreams, aspirations, and action!

Violate a person's wants, and you'll really create and enemy for yourself!

The other thing about relationships is that everyone has a right to their sovereignty. The abusive behavior of "domination" is the trampling on and knocking out of an individual's sovereignty.

Hats, you have a right to your sovereignty. It should be honored, and you are right to protect it. It's a shame that the men you have met seem to have mostly tended to violate it or at least failed to honor it and empower it.

What a wonderful relationship it would be if you had found a fella who could recognize your true Being and Presence; and honor, facilitate and co-empower it with you.

You see, most folks, not knowing this is the way the game should be played, fail to honor and properly appreciate each others' presence and Being; and their wants, dreams and aspirations. The result, of course, is collision of wills and unwitting or even knowing abuse!

So Hats, honor and maintain your presence and integrity as a Being. Don't alloy it to be "acceptable" . . . . that would be suicidal. But at the same time, to have a winning relationship, this tech above can be applied and then the partners to the relationship will then be able to truly enjoy each others' company.

And, Face, that word I wrote was "manager" not "administrator." :D Women, like men, can both be good administrators, but women are generally better managers; the reason being, as I said, is that they seek to understand and work with. The management I'm referring to is in the context of corporate America and the handling of organizations and people: not paper. :D

Lakey, one of the things about getting up into the spiritual realms of existence (I'm avoiding the term "OT") is that attention begins to often come off of the body. One is more spiritual, and one's awareness is more directed towards things that are not "body centric" or "bodily oriented."

One can still focus on the body, but, personally, I find I often need to knowingly and actively direct or play my attention across or through the body to get the "juices of the chemistry" you speak of going. Other than that, I have far more important things to do with my attention and energies. Though every so often V and I find the body/ies have accumulated some energy that is a pleasure to discharge. :D

Oh, yes . . . and V and I are not married. She's one of these modern, young, independent, strong-willed American women who wishes to strongly maintain her independence (and sovereignty) . . . and so I facilitate that  I'd be bloody dull not to! After all, you've got to keep the ladies happy, no?

Your problem might not be you but rather the men you are getting involved with. It seems to me, a man comfortable in his own skin will never be threatened by a strong woman or a strong willed, educated woman. The man has to know who his is and be competent and express assurances in himself for his areas of achievement. If he has that background, there should be no problem provided the man has some kind of "handle" on his case, i.e. that he is in good case shape and is not dramatizing a lot of out of valence roles which he has picked up from society. Such men are around in finite numbers. I am one myself and meet others all the time. For some reasons, probably aberation and dramatization, many of society's most attractive women do not seek out we well grounded men. They fly like a moth into a light bulb towards a real macho, dramatizing psycho who is supposed to be a "man's man." The women take a real loss but keep coming back for more, somehow thinking that they can reform the out of valence psychotic male. It is identical to someone trying to reform C of S from within. So many have thought that they could cause reform in something completely psychotic and have paid a heavy price in their failed efforts to do so.
Lakey

Perhaps some (not all) women like macho psychos because this way they avoid boredom?

Life with a psycho is not usually boring. Sure, it can be dangerous, but so is sky-diving or motorcycling. Some guys do dangerous things for the excitement, the rush -- why do you assume women are so different?

One aspect of what LRH was talking about, which I think has some actual value, is "Be Do Have". There are people who have taken this bit and ran with it outside of Scientology, particularly the "Laws of Attraction" people. Here's an excerpt from one article on it:
It All Starts With....Being!

I know some people just don't get the be do have principle because they want to have a million dollars in the bank and then they will feel like a millionaire....

... No! That is not how it works!

In fact, its backwards!

Get this, you must BE the millionaire first, long before you actually have the money in your bank account!

How would a millionaire think? How would they make decisions? Decide on the being! Be Do Have is very powerful if you understand it all starts with the BEING!

For example, many women worry constantly about being overweight.

What they could be doing, to harness the power of their thoughts, is focusing on "being" the thinner person.

How would a thinner person eat? What would a person do after dinner....go for a walk or sit down and watch t.v. the rest of the evening?

Instead what do some women do?

They go to the dreaded bathroom scale, look at it, feel horrible about what the scale says and attract more negative energy about their weight by the defining number.

I know I have allowed the scale to dictate whether I was feeling great about myself or not depending upon the number.

A person looking for a great relationship with a woman might say, “I am so happy that I have a wonderful woman in my life that I enjoy being around everyday.”

What would that committed person do?

How would they act?

What would they do together? Do those things!

Even though you don’t at the present moment have a woman in your life or even know of any female possibilities.

Perhaps a solution involves carefully observing the people who are successful in having what you want to have, and adopting part of that successful beingness.

The 3rd Star Wars Trilogy

:happydance::rose::cheers2::handinhand::grouphug:Here are some pictures from our Star Wars Parties and a preview of the 3rd Star Wars Trilogy

The 3rd Star Wars Trilogy

The Third Trilogy Vision is an invitation to George Lucas to create and/or allow to be created a third Star Wars Trilogy that brings the world to an awareness and understanding of the exact nature of the DARK and LIGHT side of the force.

It is an invitation to create three final films in which the Jedi and the Sith discover that the external conflicts and wars they seem compelled to participate in are stemming from internal beliefs and conflicts they create consciously and sub-consciously.

In is an invitation to entertain ourselves into the realization that we have the power to completely vanish the things we do not want and materialize the things we do.

It is an invitation to dramatically contribute to a quantum leap in human consciousness - a leap that enables us to create a world and an environment that fully supports the materialization of the grandest and highest versions of ourselves for the benefit of all mankind.

An Invitation to WonderWorld

My book entitled “An Invitation to WonderWorld” was specifically designed to be an overview of a workable way to transform our lives and our world into everything we wish them to be. In storybook fashion it envisions theme parks, feature films, video games, entertainment and fun educational systems that inspire and empower us with the ability to create a truly wonderful life. (The book is available at wonderworldonline.com)

In Chapter 21, entitled “The Force Can Be With You“, and Chapter 22, entitled “Eliminating the Hostile Vibrations“, I spoke of what an amazing contribution a third Star Wars Trilogy could be if it truly brought us to an awareness of how and why we create realities that we do not prefer.

Here are a few excerpts from those chapters:

Chapter 21
“The Force Can Be With You”

“Luminous Beings Are We, Not This Crude Matter”
Yoda

From what I have read, and from what I can feel through the force, George Lucas has a real love of children and family. I know that for a long time he has had a desire to improve the educational systems of the world, and has devoted a considerable amount of time and expense to this task. However, I am not sure if he is aware of how much good he could contribute to the world if he were to use his Star Wars vehicle to entertain us into an awareness of the exact nature of the light and dark sides of the force.

I was told that George originally intended to make nine Star Wars movies but the daunting task of bringing his masterpieces to the screen had dissuaded him from doing the last three. I am not sure if this is true, but as a devoted fan, I would be thrilled to see the wisdom of Yoda reach a new dimension.

Down through the ages our unresolved mental insanities have all too often given birth to the horrors and atrocities of war. These were not the glamorous adventures so often portrayed on the silver screen. They were living hells that motivated many to “get even” and thus continue the miseries.

Imagine how magnificent a contribution it would be to create films that entertained us into a discovery and resolution of the internal conflicts that have so often led us into personal and global hells.

Imagine how cool it would be if George Lucas decided to do a final Star Wars Trilogy—a trilogy in which the “good guys” and the “bad guys” discovered that the unwanted realities we encounter stem directly from the internal realties that we have unwittingly programmed into our sub-conscious.

So excited did I become when I thought of how grand it would be to do this, that an opening for a Star Wars Episode VII literally jumped into my consciousness. I’m not sure if the vision was mine or I channeled from George’s future self, but with your permission and George’s, I’d like to offer it as one possibility:
________________________________

Emerging suddenly from hyperspace, we rapidly descend into the atmosphere of the planet Coruscant.

Racing low across the surface of Galactic City we approach the five towers of the Jedi Temple.

Landing on a platform reserved for members of the High Council, an elderly Luke Skywalker walks intently down the gangplank of his one-of-a-kind hyperlink starship. Keeping pace just behind him, two impossibly beautiful members of the Jedi’s elite Sacred Feminine Corps flank him on both sides. The gossamer fabric of their full length matching outfits offers a stark contrast to the skill that seems to permeate through every fiber of their being.

Cutting to the interior of the Jedi temple, we slowly circle the ghostly images of Master Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker as they address all but one of the current High Council Masters.

“Master Yoda be reasonable!” one of the council exclaims. “The conflict has escalated throughout half of the galaxy.”

“In your mind the conflict exists,” Yoda replies as he uses his cane to knock on the head of the offending Jedi. “Exist it cannot if it does not first exist in here. For a hundred years have I told you this, but still you hear nothing of what I say.”

“Master Yoda,” another member replies, “That’s all well and good in theory, but this conflict is real—very real.”

“Believe me my friend,” Anakin gently responds as he taps the hilt of his light saber on the head of the Jedi, “There is no outside reality if there is not first one in here.”

“Yes, Yes!” Yoda responds in hopeful anticipation. “To Anakin you should listen. Returned form the dark side he has. Wisdom he has gained.”

“It’s no use,” Luke replies as he strides into the chamber. “I have been trying to get that point through their heads for the last twenty years.”

“Trying you still are?” Yoda snaps “Doing you have still not learned?”

“Luke, Yoda is right,” Obi Wan echoes. “You must know that you have succeeded before you begin. This is the only way to create the reality you seek.”

“Yes I know,” Luke responds. “I learn that over and over again, and then when this reality gets too intense I seem to fall back into the old ways.”

“Focusing on the wrong reality you all are,” Yoda insists, addressing the council. “Focus not on this appearancy that seems to surround you,” he says as he points his staff at the chamber that encompasses them. “Focus on the reality you desire. Empower only the one you desire and gone this conflict will be.”

Chapter 22
“Eliminating the Hostile Vibrations“;

I would love to see a Final Star Wars Trilogy that explored, discovered and ultimately offered us ways to eliminate the underlying source of personal and galactic war. Here is one possible scenario that I humbly invite George Lucas to consider.

The general theme could center on the idea that the Jedi and the Sith gradually discover, reject and finally accept the truth that the external wars and realities that they seem locked into are the result of internal conflicts they have failed to resolve.

In Episode VII, under the guidance of the spirits of Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin (Darth Vader) Skywalker and a few other members of the spirit community, Jedi Knights begin to discover correlations between their self-created internal conflicts and the outside wars they seem compelled to tune into.

Some of the dialog could go as follows:

MASTER KERON
We have no choice.

YODA
A choice you always have.

MASTER KERON
If we don’t defend ourselves all that we stand for will be destroyed.

YODA
Defend yourself and destroyed you already are.

OBIWAN
You must understand that when you seek to defend your point of view you are empowering the idea that it needs defense. When you do that, you feed energy to the conflicts that you say you do not want.

MASTER KERON
(sarcastically)
Try telling that to the Sith and see what happens.

ANAKIN
We are, and some of them are beginning to see as I did, that love, not conflict, is the way to get the things we desire.

By the end of the 1st episode, the Jedi have had a number of personal experiences that enabled them to realize that the external reality is being created by their internally created beliefs and concepts. These experiences convince them that they have the key to creating peace throughout the galaxy.

In Episode VIII the Sith Lords and the ultra secret Counsel of Duality demonstrate to themselves and the Jedi just how entrenched they are in the dark side of the force. Like the mental battles in EE “Doc” Smith’s Lensman series, the spirits of the dark and the light side nearly annihilate each other. As a result of this, the Jedi find themselves ensnared back into the idea that peace is virtually impossible.

In the concluding Episode IX, the battles reach a climax as both Sith and Jedi are guided to discover that the external realities they are experiencing truly are springing from the ideas and beliefs they tenaciously have clung to.

:happydance::party:Wow... This is cool... Entertaining people into a way to vanish conflict from their lives... I look forward to all my friends being at the premier of the 3rd Star Wars Trilogy.

But you drive such a nice model, why not stop at your local Auto Club or travel office and select an exciting destination for yourself, someplace you have always wanted to see and/or explore, then take a cue from Johnny, the Magic Thetan and intend to have to time of your life, the trip where you will realize your true goals. VERY GOOD POST!

One quibble. From what I've observed people often do want "abuse" in their relationships with others. Plenty of relationships appear to be built up on perpetuating patterns of mutual exploitation and abuse. Break the repetive pattern of exploitation and the relationship often fails. Personal GPMs can be soooo "complex". :eyeroll:

But then I'm certainly not saying anything which YOU don't already know. :)

I concluded years ago that a "debrief" on one's life experience during life and in the afterlife would be an ideal scene and, according to my own reality, is the likely scenario after life.

I also believe that beings get, for the most part, what they believe they will get, except for the 72 virgins thing. That's just ridiculous.

Of course these two "beliefs" suggests that there is someone to give the debriefing to and someone "gives" so the being may get. Unless we play the role of giver and getter all at once.

Yes, of course! Some poor, idiotic souls are totally, absolutely addicted to abuse! Alan even created some R/Ds designed specifically to handle such.

Some folks actually are perpetually doing that which causes them the be abused, either by others or by themselves. What else is a drug addict or alcoholic but a self abuser.

The key to it is that, that is the idiotic human level of existence . . . . this is the kind of stuff you see below 0.0 on the expanded emotional Tone Scale.

It's the colossally aberrated scenario wherein the individual is "punishing self," but it is not what he/she truly wants as a spiritual Being . . . it's the lost-out, failed-out solution to the game.

The other side of the coin is, who the hell in their right mind would want to have a relationship with such a Being? Only those who want that kind of losing game as a return flow . . . don't kid yourself that abusers of women are happy men (or visa versa).

And it is not really a "GPM" phenomenon: it's really down at the level of trying to solve what one does not want to experience by the use of a wrong answer.

Now THIS statement has me a bit puzzled. The use of a "wrong answer" as a solution to a failed experience strikes me as, in a sense lying, at the heart of a gpm: the "wrong answer" being yet another conflicting postulate glued on top of the earlier prior conflicts.

Thanks Roger for the great understanding and validation. I feel like less of a heel. :happydance:

Snipped . . . .

:duh:

Less of a heel? Hopefully before too long it'll be, "free from feeling like a heel; totally free from it!" :D

Actually, the emotional blackmail that goes on in the male/female is an ugly scenario.

Hubbard pointed out in one of his occasional clever moments that the basic or biggest overt one can commit is that of making another guilty.

Nasty types are masters at making others feel guilty . . . guilty for being present, communicating, causing, being beautiful-but-not-giving-me-the-sex-(money/admiration)-I-want, breathing . . . you name it!

Don't wear it! Don't let the idiots of the world make you feel like a heel with their use of the make-guilty trick!

It's an amazing thing to watch . . . I had it when I was a young and good-looking swimming champ hunk. It would often happen that some pretty (or oft not so pretty) young thing would try to attract my attention . . . usually while I was at the pool training . . . and man, would they run this make-guilty trip on me for "not liking them!"

And even funnier to watch is the next stunt in the sequence after they have run their abuse on you is, they start making less of or nothing of you with false accusations and belittling statements! :duh:

Honest and decent men see this sort of shit going on among the poseurs all the time. The poseurs makes an inept and stupid pass at a lady, gets ignored and then starts telling you all about the "unacceptablenesses and unworthinesses" of the "chick" or "tart.":D

People invalidate each other too much. It is not OK.

So, Hats, my sweet, honor the truth of you

Well, if one wishes to believe in GPMs, one can create and believe whatever out of the basic theme. :whistling:

But, note, I wrote: "trying to solve what one does not want to experience" . . . not: "as a solution to a failed experience."

There is a distinction between the two. :D And solutions are not necessarily "conflictive" to the scenario being solved.

"GPMs," basically, is a wrong and screwed up piece of tech.
