OK, which part? :D

You trying to get me to bail you out of your faux pas with Candy? :D

Not me Mate

I just went onto Candy's FB page and looked at her pictures, and what I saw is a gorgeous Being . . . there is real life there! Enormous presence and love of and for the game and the relationships and parts in it.

Yes, and a good looking body too . . . . . but did you not notice the Being? The emanation about her that imbues everything about her with prosperity?

And the pics were a good trip down memory lane . . . even though I've not met Candy in the flesh . . . there were familiar scenes/people there.

On Orson Wells . . . I'd say the man was a bit of a "maniac," irresponsible, and probably a little hard to get along with so, after an early success or two (I loved his "Othello") no one would work with him or back him.

It is likely that he was so full of himself that he offended those he needed to work with, as in getting financial backing for his proposed creations, to succeed.

R

Despite calling Candy a " Dumb Blonde" on this forum I love her to
pieces.:)

Otherwise I wouldn't have the temerity to offer "insults".

She is a darling!

Hats,

Just got to this (with a skin full of wine) so I'll comment in more lucid terms tomorrow :D

Probably a PM with some specific info :D

You are a very aware young lady  Be sure to do a full honoring and appreciation of your abilities as you progress . . . that way you'll empower and keep you gains as you progress.

Most folks have wins, feel good, and without the proper handling of the accomplishment are left wondering "what was all that about" and don't retain the ascended to ability/power.

That is what screwed up the wins in the church that folks did have.

Rog

I just noticed that my box was full. I emptied some mail so I have room for more. Thanks Roger.

The Cult RD sounds like a powerful tool.

Yea, I think Robin is her landlord and is in L.A.

But hey! If you're connected to Candy Swanson then you'll run into Robin soon enough. He's a good friend of mine from NZ. Quite a character too.

Yes, I believe Robin is her landlord and has been in L.A. for a few months and has been living in her unit occupying a second bedroom. I have not met him.

Thanks for the ack Sweetness

Yes, I'm really happy for Lakey and proud of all the progress he is making in life!!! He is making a great transition from the old into the new. He is in good communication with his spiritual teammates, releasing old viewpoints and creating new ones. Things are really looking up, there is positive movement forward in his life, and I think he is going to really enjoy playing at this new different level of his life experience ("in the major leagues")! :) It's been wonderful to witness the arc of this progress he's making. :happydance:

It was nice to hear of that manifestation of synchronicity, Lakey...in connecting and socializing with all these good people who effortlessly help you to push back your boundaries a bit! I know that you are doing the same for them, as well! :)

I have often found that I am most successful when I do have many different projects going at once, many irons in the fire, as Lakey has said.

I created my own Masters Degree program out of "Multiple Subjects" (that's how it's listed on my diploma :p :eyeroll:) because I couldn't narrow myself down into just one or two fields of study, as is the routine pathway in Academia.

It's a judgement call and a balancing act for me not to bite off more than I can chew, and get into overwhelm, while still creating do, be and have :happydance: along all the dynamics, but it sure is fun! :D At times I get tired and need to focus on resting and playing more, and I really appreciate the spirit of playfulness that is alive and well on this thread we co-create daily. It really does help me de-stress, so thanks everybody!

Fun stuff, life! :D Come on everybody, create some more good stuff in life with each other!!! :happydance:

Sweetness, thanks for the ack and encouragement and thank you also for telling us some of your recent wins!

Yiddish versions of Come on-a My House & other songs.

Come on a my house, my house a come on...Im a gonna give you candy. :happydance:

Rosemary Clooney
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mriXncI96lw

Alright, you want to play hard ball, check out this Jewish version of "Come ona my house" sung with Yiddish words embellishing the English. My brother and I used to play all the Mickey Katz records in the mid to late 1950's. He took many the top hits of the day and made Yiddish versions of the songs.

Here is Mickey's version of the Rosemary Clooney hit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m0c5yaEvLA

If you know a little Yiddish and/ or know Jewish humor a bit, these are a riot. If you don't have any reality on Yiddish, they probably won't do anything for you.

My favortie from those days was a Katz tune called "Murietta", refering to the Murrieta Hot Springs down near Temecula in Southwestern Riverside County in Souther California. In the 1920's through the 1950's Murietta was a hang out for a lot of old Jews of Eastern European heritage who used to take the baths in various spas throughout Eastern Europe and Germany prior to WWII. One of the major spas still going is Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic which is better known by its German name, Karsbad (Karl's bath). This spa is still going strong and is in what once was the Sudetenland which Germany annexed in 1938 when Neville Chamberlin of England appeased Hitler to keep "Peace in our Time"

My favorite line in the song is "Kein Donder or Blitz, just sitz und schwitz and play a little Canasta in the Smog." (No thunder of lightning, just sit and sweat and play a little Canasta card game in the smog of Riverside County.)
I tried to post that song but youtube does not have it.

Instead will put up Katz's version of "16 Tons" and one of his most famour songs, his version of "Davey Crockett"

Not everyone knows or can appreciate Yiddish humor but if you one can, it is just side splitting humor, unlike anything else I know of. Yiddish is actually a dialect of German, pronounced much differently, proabably about equal in difference to Ameriican English and Cockney English from London. I mean, the words are the same but pronounced so much differently that one has to strain to understand what is being said. German is only about 75 to 80% of what constitues Yiddish. The other 20 to 25% of the words come from various sources, namely Hebrew, Russian, Polish, Lithuanian, and English. It is to a large extent these non German words, sprinkled amongst the bastardized German that give Yiddish its expressiveness and make it such a colorful language.

I was very fortunate in that my parents decided to send me to Yiddish school instead of Hebrew school when I was 11 1/2 and starting the 7th Grade to prepare me for my Bar Mitzvah which took place at age 13 in Yiddish. In those days, early 1950's, all my grandparents and most of the other "mispoche" which means family members such as Aunts and Uncles all knew and could talk Yiddish. From my study of Yiddish, this led me later to take classes in German plus it gave me the ability to understand Jewish humor and tell Jewish jokes.

I was a serious minded guy but I could let my hair down and tell Jewish jokes. using Yiddish words and a Jewish accent with the best of them. The two best I ever met were my brother Rueben and Dan Linker. When on lines at ASHO, the 3 of us met several times at New York George's across from the Blue Complex and began telling Jewish jokes. A couple of the jokes had punch lines so humorous, that I remember Linker falling to the floor and laughing so hard at one of my Brother's punch lines that he nearly lost control. I was afraid he was going to pee in his pants. He had uncontrolled side splitting laughter for a good 3 minutes before he could regain control of himself, he kept saying, "Reuben, you are the best, Reuben, you are King" (of Jewish joke telling)! Linker was no slouch either, he had that dry droll Jewish attitude and accent down perfectly. He gave Reuben a real run for his money. I was a strong 3rd place among those two giants.

I love the stories from the old Jewish neighborhoods. I read 700 Sundays a while back. It was a short autobiography by Billy Crystal. Most touching. Why are the folks who hail from that part of Europe so consistently funny Lakey?
