Wonderful post, Ted.

This is the sort of info that empowers individuals who are smart enough to use it.

Nice.

On the subject of wholesome whole food...

Teri and I bought a Vitamix blender the other day at Costco (price $400). It is the industrial grade blender that Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and other chains use.

While my first thought was to grind up some vegetables, venison, and whiskey to make Vitameatavegamin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m1Nubw8XJw

Our intention is to get more live greens and fruit into ourselves and our grandchildren.

This mixer blender is like a regular blender on s'troids. I've had a blender since I was 16. I've been doing smoothies since I was 17 and saw them in UC Santa Barbara's Isla Vista (IV) student neighborhood.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIHEqtFieZY

I've had a juicer or two for decades. Unlike juicers, which dispose of pulp, this Viatmix keeps the roughage, but makes it fully drinkable. the pulp acts to scrub your intestines. Without roughage to scrub your intestines, bad stuff accumulates on the walls of your intestines.

This mega monster grinds spinach and kale and celery into nothing. hence, the drinker of the drink gets full vitamins, minerals, and pulp.

Yesterday we plied four grandchildren with concoctions containing all sorts of good things (like algae, pomegranate seeds, fresh strawberries, fresh blue berries, etc). It tastes so good, they just drank and drank.

We have a vitamix. Use it all the time to make smoothies with plain yogurt, fresh and frozen fruit, protein powder and water. Have it every morning. We see them all the time in commercial food and drink establishments. Commonly used to make frozen coffee drinks, fruit smoothies and frozen margaritas:thumbsup: Great machine.

Love, Dex

The Man-Made Nature of Cancer

December 21, 2010 by Dr. Mark Wiley

The overriding theme of the wellness model I subscribe to is that pain, illness and disease are man-made. More specifically, those diseases for which one is not genetically predisposed, those ailments not caused by a traumatic injury and illness or not related to unknown contaminant are caused by… you. That is, they are self-induced.

That may seem harsh, but the fact is, we are each able to control our own wellness at all times. Whether we own up to that or work our way through existing problems is another issue. If you know coffee causes you headaches, then stop drinking coffee. If working late into the wee hours of the morning leaves you exhausted in the morning, then alter your schedule or plan for a different job or vocation.

Do you experience feelings of nausea, dizziness, headaches, insomnia, lack of energy… and happen to live in an area that is buzzing with electro-magnetic frequencies from towers and Wi-Fi hotspots? Then you need to outfit your home with devices that normalize the electric and magnetic field (EMF) radiation, or move. And while we may have no control over others and the workloads that get placed on us, we can learn and practice stress-relief techniques, get adequate sleep and consume foods high in nutrients. These are choices. Difficult choices at times, for sure, but choices nonetheless.
I have not yet placed cancer within the self-induced model (aside from lung cancer), because the popular research had shown there to be biological markers or defects associated with it. However, new research out of Manchester University in the United Kingdom, suggests otherwise.
The Manchester study sought to find if cancer was indeed a man-made disease and determined that, in fact, it is caused by man-made environmental factors, such as pollution and diet. Here is the study brief:

“In industrialized societies, cancer is second only to cardiovascular disease as a cause of death. The history of this disorder has the potential to improve our understanding of disease prevention, etiology, pathogenesis and treatment. A striking rarity of malignancies in ancient physical remains might indicate that cancer was rare in antiquity, and so poses questions about the role of carcinogenic environmental factors in modern societies. Although the rarity of cancer in antiquity remains undisputed, the first published histological diagnosis of cancer in an Egyptian mummy demonstrates that new evidence is still forthcoming.”

Scientists from Manchester’s KNH Centre for Biomedical Egyptology studied remains and literature from two ancient cultures — Egypt and Greece. Among an investigation of hundreds of Egyptian mummies, the researchers found evidence of cancer in only one. This single find, combined with scant references to the disease in ancient documentations, proves to these scientists that “cancer was extremely rare in antiquity.”

Indeed, during the Industrial Revolution where man-made progress was in full bloom, the cancer rate rose “massively,” particularly in children. This, the scientists claim, proves that cancer does not just occur in people as they age and their bodies and immune systems weaken.

“In industrialized societies, cancer is second only to cardiovascular disease as a cause of death,” states Rosalie David, professor at Faculty of Life Sciences and the study’s co-author. “But in ancient times, it was extremely rare. There is nothing in the natural environment that can cause cancer. So it has to be a man-made or ‘man-induced’ disease, down to pollution and changes to our diet and lifestyle.

“The important thing about our study,” she explains, “is that it gives a (sic) historical perspective to this disease. We can make very clear statements on the cancer rates in societies because we have a full overview. We have looked at millennia, not one hundred years, and have masses of data.”

That data include evidence of cancer in animal fossils, non-human primates and early humans. It shows that cancer was quite rare, occurring in only a few dozen cases overall. Is it possible that the proof of cancer just was not preserved in these mummies and fossils, making it difficult to find its evidence?

Not according to study co-author Michael R. Zimmerman, whose experimental studies indicate that mummification actually “preserves the features of malignancy and that tumors should actually be better preserved than normal tissue.” Moreover, he clearly explains, “Radiological surveys of mummies from the Cairo Museum and museums in Europe have also failed to reveal evidence of cancer.”

The study was published in the journal Nature. In conclusion of the findings, David had this to say: “Yet again extensive ancient Egyptian data, along with other data from across the millennia, has (sic) given modern society a clear message: Cancer is man-made and something that we can and should address.”

Not only must we “address this,” but we each need to control our own lives and wellness choices. We suffer for our choices. The best way to avoid contracting this man-made modern disease is to find a way to create a life in an environment low on pollution, carcinogens, stress and processed food, and one where it is simultaneously filled with fresh, whole foods, exercise, joy and love.

Good article Ted. I wanted to throw in a few comments. On cancer, most forms seem to afflict people later in life, middle age or beyond. In antiquity, the life expectancy of people was much shorter, perhaps 35 years or so. Also, the air and soil quality were better than in today's world. The rich soil of that time led to more nutritious fruits and vegetables, etc., etc. Those factors were most likely contributors to a much lower incidence of cancer.

I am building up an empirical case log of peoples' ailments from all the message treatments which I am giving. Nearly everyone I encounter has a lot of stress. This usually manifests itself in knotted muscles in a person's neck, upper back, shoulders, tricep area, pectoral muscles. forearms, lower back and feet. In addition, these knotted areas of the body invariably produce electrically charged points on the persons head.

I am able to locate the charged areas on the person's head and see the person's mental pictures in varying degrees with different people. From their pictures, I pick up their thoughts and then casually engage the person in light discussion about what has been going on. I ALWAYS, with no exceptions, find a push -pull conflict the person is having with nearly equal forces pulling the person in opposite directions. These conflicts within the person's psyche, invariable lead to tenseness, knotted muscles and pinched nerves in the person's body.

A typical example would be a person who had a report due at work the next morning but wanted to attend a party the previous night. If the person attends the party, a lot of attention is focused on how they are going to get the report in on time the next day. This will likely produce knotted areas on the person's neck or upper back. There is always a companion point on the head which if pressed, will discharge much trapped static electricity and the person will feel better and the knotted condition will vanish.

Roger commented on this perhaps two weeks ago. He pointed out that a masseur did not have to release the energy from the head. Perhaps more gain would be achieved, with less chance of messing up the masseur, if the person were coached to become aware of the pull in two directions and work out causitively for himself how he is going to handle his problem rather than want the masseur to discharge it for him.

DOES WHAT CAUSES TIGHT MUSCLES, PINCHED NERVES AND KNOTS ALSO CAUSE ILNESS?

Well, I know that these internal conflicts manifest themselves on the person's body as described above. Often the knots and pinched nerves lead to headaches, for example, or nervous stomachs and certainly insomnia.

My guess is that a steady diet of these slings and arrows which afflict one's body and remain untreated over several years will naturally lead to physical disease. The person's organs, glands and lymph systems are just plain overworked by the continual strain of coping with unresolved problems, equal pushes and pulls in a person's mind.

AGING AND DISEASE

Untreated push-pull conflicts in one's mind also tend to speed up the aging process and weaken people's immune systems. They probably also very slowly wear away at the person's desire to live. You put all this together and the person will be prone to create his own diseases including diseases that will terminate his/her life. This is not scientific and is all just my opinion but I have a fairly large base of empirical data upon which I am basing this opinion.

Right this minute it is 81 degrees fahrenheit and 94% humidity in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (The Ivory Coast). Civil war is about to break out. If the president, who lost the election holds on to power, there will be war. If The winner takes control, there will be war.

My daughter lived there for awhile a couple of years ago. She made friends there. The picture above is the young man, who sold items in front of her apartment. His name is Alidou. He also guarded her and her apartment. In the past couple of years, he has upgraded to driving his own taxi. If he can't make the payments on his taxi, he'll lose it, and probably never be able to reach that height of success in life ever again.

My daughter made friends with another there. If he can't pay for his apartment, he will lose great status, and probably never get back to that position in society.

Rather than spend her spare money on shoes and purses and clothing, our daughter is sending money to her friends to help them keep their heads above water.

BTW, she has had more than her share of auditing, both giving and getting.

******************************

Yesterday, my wife told me about some apartment owners, who she manages property for. They have just inherited $10 M worth of apartments from their father, who just died. The sister has been going through the books.

She has identified $1,000. a month that has been being wasted on two employees. One of the employees is the sister of the dead owner. She has been getting $100. per apartment that was re-rented to the same tenant(s) after their lease expired. We don't do that commission anywhere else in the system.

The employee, a resident manager of an apartment complex, who took care of the owner, who died after a long and painful last few years, has been getting free rent for his apartment, even though it is not in a big building. Usually in buildings that size, the resident manager is only given a credit to the monthly rent, not a full free rent. This resident manager is on dialysis, and is not well.

The owners told my wife yesterday (with Christmas coming) that those deals were terminated. Further, she was to tell the two people that the pay cuts were coming from the property management company to be in line with the other apartments managed. They didn't want the two people mad at them (the owners).

When the $1,000. a month saved is split between the three millionaires, they will each get about $300. before taxes each month.

None of these three have ever had auditing or training in Scientology or Freezone or EST or anything.

******************************

My wife has a friend, in a group who she plays cards with once a month. This lady is in her mid 70s. She just fired a man, in his mid 80s, who has worked for her for decades. He needs the money. He needs the work. didn't matter. He was just not capable of doing all the things he used to do. (I'm crying as I write this.) She got somebody younger to do the work.

This lady has never had auditing or training either.

I don't think Oat Tea is important. I don't think Scientology ever had anything that could absolutely deliver what was promised.

Nevertheless, the auditors of the 50s, 60s, and 70s had compassion. The PCs had genuine improvements in their lives. What my daughter is doing is in keeping with those people. It is connecting with someone(s) and not, for anything, breaking that connection. It is being empathetic. It is owning one's environment, friends, family, dynamics - however you wish to phrase it. There is tech that is valuable. I think it is probably of greater value to be an auditor than a PC, but either is a step up from many on this blue green marble.

I don't mean this as a rant against anyone on ESMB. BB and Dex seem to butt heads with Veda. Veda is doing something very similar to what my daughter is doing. He's doing his best to help people, who he perceives to be in trouble. That's what we're all here doing. helping.

Jeezzuzz,

No wonder I'm politically incorrect . . . that above is enough to scare anyone off from trying to be acceptable to everyone! :D

But apart from the mind-numbing experience of reading the masterpiece above, Ted, I have to say it is beautifully and fully, exquisitely written.

Your point about Veda MEANING well is an apt one. Veda's post are never more invaluable than when he provides specific historical data to complement or contradict the distorted history which those involved with the Co$ have come to accept during the course of their own involvements.

Unfortunately, Veda's own "compassion" is often compromised by his own apparent unwillingness to see or allow the good in others. It is not surprising then when those others fail to accept his public denigrations.

Fred Foy died today (from the New York Times)

Fred Foy, ‘Lone Ranger’ Announcer, Dies at 89
By MARGALIT FOX
Published: December 23, 2010

A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty Hi-Yo, Silver! ...

Three times a week on the radio, those words, juxtaposed with the galloping strains of Rossini’s “William Tell” overture, captivated generations of midcentury Americans.

For a decade, first on the radio and later on television, Fred Foy was the man who intoned those gallant lines, among the most evocative in American broadcasting.

Mr. Foy died on Wednesday, at 89, at his home in Woburn, Mass. The death, of natural causes, was confirmed by his daughter Nancy Foy.

Mr. Foy was not the first “Lone Ranger” announcer and narrator — the show had begun in 1933, when he was scarcely more than a boy — but he was the last, and almost certainly the best known. From the late 1940s, when he joined the radio show, until the late 1950s, when the TV show went off the air, his was the resonant voice that heralded thrills, adventure and the swift administration of frontier justice by that masked man.

“We had no idea we were creating something that would become an American icon,” Mr. Foy told The Daily News of New York in 2003. “We knew it was good, but it was a job. You came in at 3, you checked the script, you did the rehearsal, you made sure the production elements were in place, you went on the air.”

On the radio, Mr. Foy was also the announcer for “The Green Hornet” and “Sergeant Preston of the Yukon.” On television, he became a staff announcer for ABC in New York, where his duties included “The Dick Cavett Show.”

A frequent speaker at old-time radio conventions, Mr. Foy was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2000.

Frederick William Foy was born in Detroit on March 27, 1921. (He was no relation to the vaudevillian Eddie Foy Sr. or his Seven Little Foys.) Soon after graduating from high school, he took a job with WMBC, a local 250-watt radio station. In 1942 he joined WXYZ in Detroit, the station on which “The Lone Ranger” originated.

Serving in the Army in World War II, Mr. Foy was an announcer for Armed Forces Radio in Cairo. After the war he returned to WXYZ. There, beginning in 1948, he narrated “The Lone Ranger” live in the studio.

Mr. Foy remained with the show until it went off the radio in the mid-1950s; he announced the television version from its inception in 1949 to its demise in 1957. (During the years in which the radio and TV shows overlapped, Mr. Foy was heard on both.)

He played the part of the Lone Ranger exactly once, when Brace Beemer, who acted the role on radio, came down with laryngitis.

“I guess I did all right,” Mr. Foy told The Daily News in 2003, “because we didn’t get any complaints.”

Besides his daughter, Mr. Foy’s survivors include his wife, the former Frances Bingham, whom he married in 1947; another daughter, Wendy Foy Griffis; a son, Fritz; and three grandchildren.

Though “The Lone Ranger” enjoyed a prolonged afterlife in television reruns, Mr. Foy received no extra compensation, because his work was done in the era before mandatory residuals.

He did not seem to mind, Nancy Foy said on Wednesday. So proud was Mr. Foy of his association with the show that to the end of his life he recited its introduction for anyone who asked.
