Reminds me, when I was twelve, of a calendar that my father got from S & S Welding Works in the mail; my mother gave it to me, and I put it on my wall by my door. One of my mother's friends freaked out when she saw it. I liked it. It stayed.

and then in the late 60's came the Pirelli Calendars. They were suave and chic and mouth watering

You must've been the only kid in America who didn't have to go through puberty deprived. How can anyone relate to you...without that common ground?

Uh, actually no. :) It was kinda supposed to be a raspberry sent from that side of life where NOBODY was treated like the sun shone out their bottom. If any glowing warmth shone from one's bottom it was from something else entirely. :D

I was an only child too and there weren't no sunshine at my end either.....maybe it only applies to males.

Yes EP! That was well worth watching. HQ. Nice Bearcats. I never cease to be amazed at how well kept up these old planes are. I wonder if they have their original parts inside or if replica parts are made special. I saw a 1960 Jaguar last year. Convertible with wood and leather and everything in it was new. I could not believe no one had ever driven it. Then I was told they have special places to rebuild these like new. The instrument panels and leather seat tucks and knobs.

I had to look twice to see if I was not just saving clips of model planes a time or two while browsing.
:clap::clap: Thanks Ted. Thanks EP for your acknowledgements and admiration.

Hey Hats?

Bearcats, Warbirds, etc are not usually associated with girlie subjects.

You wanna tell us any cogs here?

Anyway, any visitors to blighty, the Hendon Airforce museum is down the
road. Among other warbirds includes a Kawasaki 161, [ hope I got that
right] and a russian fighter, Lachovalian 5. [ spelling], that could both mix it with the best that US and UK could provide. Too little too late. And MUCH more.

Knew I could get back on topic!

Then Duxford is an hour away. It has, among others and current restoration projects, that beautiful airplane the TSR2. Used the engines that were later in concorde. Perhaps still state of the art.

How did this go? " Chicks and money for free. "

As are guided tours of the above with accommodation. :)

Jesus, Ted; how could you?

That John Pinette segment had me thinking I'd need medical attention by the end. (Best laugh in several years!)

I like that show. I've been a big Wendie Malick fan for years.

She is often placed as a second banana, like Christine Baranski.

and that second show has George Segal. I became a big fan of his back with "Fun With Dick and Jane" with Jane Fonda and Ed McMahon

"The Owl and the Pussycat" with Barbra Steisand

and "A Touch of Class" with Glenda Jackson
