Is Kha Khan still with us?

Hi Winnie! Do you know if our Kha Khan is o.k.?

There is a thread about his possible demise. :confused2:

Do you know who can get in touch with him and make sure all is well?

Her present avatar shows her dropping a clamshell. :happydance:

It doesn't show she dropped her clamshell....it shows that she removed her body from the pic. and just left her hands and the clamshell and wrote Censored over where the body was.

Sorry, I don't know anything. I myself am kind of lost without Nozzie, Uncle Sam and Zinjifar cheering me up. In fact, I lament the demise of FCDC circa 1970.

Yeh . . . . keep it up there. It reminds me of the beautiful things there are in life  Rather like Voltaire's Child's old avatar with the oyster shell nestled on that lovely err, umm, torso.

Beautiful art, as these two avatars are (and I've got to include Emma's two versions of her in this!) are just so pleasing to the eye and soul

Yeah, well, unfortunately I got censored and oppressed. But hey, the current one underscores the point beautifully. It's intended to be a poke right in the eye for the Mrs. Grundys of the forum and of cyberspace.

That explains much. The fun has disappeared...and thus the demise of us raunchy FCDC boys. Hey, not much for me here anymore. I despise scn as much as anyone when I reflect that had I bought gold in 1971 at $200 an ounce... Oh well, life goes on, and in my case it has been a wonderful ride.

I was wondering yesterday where Nozzie was. I miss his blinking avatar. :p

Moar like a suppression, but yeah. I got bitched out on Facebook, a bunch of my stuff- including that one- redacted from Photobucket- and, yes, here, too. So I asked John to help me and create an avatar that would truly reflect what happened. So we did. It's actually better than the other one.

Just goes to show you what some people think about.

The first person to disconnect from me!

Some jerk off named Bennie wrote me a private e-mail two days ago, asking if this is "the" Gary who he used to know. He said that he just got back from the Freewinds and he lived in Orange County right near where I now live.

I emailed back that I am the guy who he knows and asked him what he was up to.

He sent me a second email with some good roads, good weather and then asked me what Org I am taking services from. I replied that I am no longer in C of S, leaving on a medical leave in 2002 and never returning.

He had mentioned a possible get together so I told him I would be willing to meet him for coffee but I warned him that I did not like the way the Orgs were being run and I had spoken out against this on the internet. I suggested that he probably could not meet me but instead would have to disconnect from me.

Right on cue, he emailed me back confirming that he would have to cease communications with me. He directed me to my nearest Ethics terminal and urged for me to act quickly and save my "eternity". He said that if I worked into good standing then perhaps we could meet up.

I wrote him back wishing him good luck in his life and saying that I am a free speech advocate and would never be in any group which dictated to me whom I could and could not talk too.

This is the first person to formally disconnect for me! It was quite an interesting experience since I have been out nearly 10 years and had never experienced it.

Call me a skeptic. It appears that you were never really connected. I suspect that recent exchange was just a feeler to see if you could be tapped for a loan or FSM commission. FoTi asked a good question: How did he get your email?

QUICK ANSWER IF THAT IS ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW

He found me on Facebook. I have my email address listed there under Contact info.

MORE INFO ON BENNY - I met his wife, WG, on course at ASHO. We had a lot in common; it turned out she and Benny were Jewish and knew my cousin MH very well from their days at Cal State Long Beach. I invited her over to meet my wife and our two families became good friends in 1982. We were were close, both families having young children, for about 6 or 7 years and then they moved to San Diego. For the next 15 years or so we stayed in touch visiting them when we went to S.D or they visiting us when they came to L.A. Eventually, contact dwindled to mainly sending holiday greeting cards. We were shocked to hear this year that they are divorced.

SOME REAL IRONY
Here is what is really interesting and ironic considering that my Brother has just come on ESMB. Now get this, my Brother went up to Mayo's Org in 1984. Well Benny found out about this and he also found out that Reuben was testifying against Scn in court cases. I was upset with Reuben but was not going to do a formal disconnection.

Benny came over and talked to me and my wife and told us of Reuben's activities and told me that I would HAVE to disconnect because he was going to write everything up to the MAA at ASHO. He did write everything up, I got a copy and ASHO demanded that I formally disconnect.

How ironic is that? I have not seen Benny in about ten years and completely lost touch and then as soon as some form of contact between me and my Brother occurs (after a 26 year hiatus), Benny immediately contacts me. Its an example of how beings are inter-linked in this universe.

If one reads my Facebook page, it is not hard to figure out that I am an ex Scientologist. Benny probably wanted to find out for sure that I was the same Gary so he just probed and appeared to contact me in a random manner but it was not totally random. First, relocating in this area recently he probably looked up my ex wife and I just for the simple purpose of rekindling our friendship. First, he found my ex wife on Facebook and did a "Request to be Friends" but she ignored him so then he looked for me on Facebook. The rest of what happened I already covered.

Knowing this guy, he will no doubt write me up to his Orgs, Flag and the Freewinds. Maybe I will get my formal declare, maybe they do not have time to waste on doing that. I could care less.

Would you like to meet up?

Hi Carmelo, It is really good to have you back here posting!! Candy has been out of town for nearly 2 weeks and is coming back on Thursday. I will make sure she reads your post. Perhaps she might want to go, but it will be very short notice for her. I already had plans for Friday and probably will not make it.

Regarding all this Lakey, maybe then and now, it could be an OSA op to try and find out more information about who is connected to what squirrel group. As I understand it, sometimes people who have a plausible reason or would be a good match are "assigned" to be friends with you, especially if you were/are connected to a renegade, Indy or squirrel Scientologist or group, (what they consider their enemies :eyeroll:) as you were/are .

These ops and relationships can last for years.

COS is just nutty about spying on it's own at all levels. A lot of people don't really see it for what it is until they are completely out and get some distance on the whole business.

I agree that the timing is highly suspicious, and would think that it's possible that after all these years, OSA still has an active case file on your brother, not just due to his Mayo connection, but due to his testifying, too. These are crimes to COS and puts a target of sorts on his back, and by extension, on anyone who is in contact with him. Maybe Reuben knows some dirt that OSA doesn't want talked about on this board or anywhere on the internet. Reuben just recently got a computer and joined ESMB. Remember that the Mayo's just recently joined the board, too.

I think you were targeted for an OSA info gathering spy op, utilizing your former good buddy! :coolwink:

It's just my humble opinion. Your Ex-wife was probably wise to just ignore him.

But you handled it wisely by telling him the absolute truth about where you stand. By doing so you robbed him of playing the game of spy, because it forced him to be a "good" little Corporate Scientologist and disconnect, as you suggested.

Far, far too many people are still on the fence and under the radar within COS, when they really wanna be OUT!

Come on lurkers, grow up and leave COS already. You can't be happy with the way things are there!

Freedom to read, think, act, set your goals and plan your life and associate with whom YOU choose with no fears of heavy ethics punishments is wonderful. Try it, you'll like it! :happydance:

Well, this would make a good spy movie but while your theory is possible, I doubt if it is true. After all, I am not being very secretive about how I feel about the Church of Scientology and I have told my entire life story on this thread. Why would they have to resort to "cloak and dagger" tactics when everything about me is right here on ESMB?
