Re: The Insanity of Clear
So why do you still practice $cientology or parts thereof? Do you want me to dig up the posts where you mentioned that you're doing exactly that?
OK, I guess now it's time for you to call me a Nazi again...
I won't call you a Nazi at the moment, but your statement seems to imply that you are apparently quite . . . . um, STUPID (or something, maybe "intellectually-challenged")?
Yes, I will use the
occassional random IDEA from Hubbard's vast bundle of rantings IF it appeals to me, just as I use ideas from Buddhism, Christianity, psychology, magick and other fields of study. If an idea clicks for me, regardless WHERE it "comes from", I happily "use it". I sure do NOT forbid myself from using some idea simply because it might be
associated with some "negative person or group" (i.e. Hubbard, Scientology).
Yes, please do dig up the posts.
I am curious how your absurd connections of data and logic allow you to come to the conclusion that I, the poster known as Gadfly, "practice Scientology". That is a stretch from almost ANY viewpoint - but not for you apparently!
That has got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
You are apparently really fucked up! (in the head)
I mean YES, I do the occassional "contact assist". I have used a very altered notion of ARC to save my life a few times (MANY years ago). Ummm, I still have a "three-basket system". I turn my lights out at night (just as per LRH policy). What other Scientology "tech" do I use, on any sort of regular basis?
Oh yes, I use a "spacation drill" from PAB #3 from time to time - it is an EXCELLENT form of "meditation". It "works" (for me). It "does the job". Should I lie or pretend that it doesn't?
Let's see, what else? I am looking . . . . . I am still looking. :confused2:
Umm, Hubbard mentions somewhere that "taking walks is a good way to de-stimulate". I take daily walks along the deer trails in the woods around my home. Does THAT make me a "practicing Scientolgist"?
Hubbard said somewhere that it is a good idea to "grant beingness". I do that for the most part. Am I bad? Am I evil for doing so? Does that make me a "practicing Scientologist"?
I like the ideas in the issue on "Personal Integrity", though of course these ideas are impossible to practice as a Scientology church member. You know, look, pay attention and OBSERVE what happens around oneself as a path to gaining "knowledge". Not a bad idea really. Do you disagree?
Me, a practicing Scientologist? I am curious, who else here gets the idea from all I have posted over the years that I "practice Scientology"? Have I really said much to give THAT idea??

Though, maybe in
your over-active and strange imagination MR NOBODY.
HINT: I have studied and contacted a great many ideas over many years, and I have incorporated some of them into my personal bag of opinions, views and practices. Some had their origin through involvement with Scientology, but that is about as far as it goes, AND many have evolved due to contact with related mitigating subjects and views.
