Well, Michelle, I can't thank you enough for putting ESMB on the net - it was through posting here and getting feed back posts that I escaped 40+ years of cult think. Right about now, I wonder if I would be an indi griping about DM, and still believing in Hubbard's nonsense, were it not for ESMB.

Well, thanks also to the many posters who put up with my lame posts over the years, and responded, despite my flaws in logic etc. with intelligent posts, guiding my way out of the sticky dark, despite my checking out all the pretty flowers along the way. ( Where have I heard that before? )

I'll truly miss Y'all. Michelle - best of luck on the other side of ESMB. You're the best.

all threads and "members only" areas of the proposed archive?

Create a new membership (call it guest001 or somesuch), save the password. After the site goes read-only, since no user will be able to post new stuff, it won't matter if you give the same user ID and password to all your friends.

A funny thing I have found is that I seem to have found more friends in the ex community than I had when I was in....

when we were in, especially SO, friends - as in people you could trust to support you before anything else - were in short supply. I made a couple of real friends - one of whom posts on here and has been my friend ever since (she knows who she is). But people who I have got to meet afterwards, with all the dreck and evil filtered off - I have made a lot of awesome friends. When you think about it - thats how it should have been all along - a lot of us joined Scientology for all the right reasons and those reasons make a lot of us likeable trustworthy people.
