Anyone and everyone please help me to understand--why is it that only the "oldtimers from the early 70's -fcdc" have their own long term thread on esmb? It really surprises me! I did visit many other orgs at that time and met a lot of really fun-kool people that seemed to have "what we had at fcdc"! But - alas - no one else with the exceptions of those "wonderful fun loving- hard partying-smart folks from Australia and New Zealand" are in this board.WTF?

I really think it was because of who we were and why we were there, and the fact that a lot of us were ex-hippies, radicals, and freaks. That's why it was fun and we were tight, not because of Scientology.

There are at least a half a dozen people on this board from my home Org, but we haven't got a thread about it, and even if we did I seriously doubt it would be as fun as the FCDC thread. You guys rock!
A lot of what you write brings back memories for me of my earliest years in the cult. I got involved in the 70s and experienced much of the kind of stuff you guys talk about. It seems you all just had the guts (or shamelessness) to take things to the extreme.

I knew a guy who was raised in NYC and he used to see the Marx Bros. on the streets often. He said they didn't have to "act" when they got into movies as that is how they acted on the streets of NYC.
And I almost think maybe could be humm...that we formed all that comradeship at FCDC, and though we didn't know it at the time, what we were doing was establishing a future reality which has

At old FCDC we had "hotties" on what was called the "Fox Squad" who were body routers--and I mean BODY routers. So there is more room for honorary FCDC "hotties" on our "honorary Fox Squad" So I would like to nominate one more to the FCDC honorary "Fox Squad"---Good Twin.
