Man, you guys are on a roll. Lakey your El Ron Consistency post is a nice piece of work.

Personally my opinion is El Ron is a goner and is as gone as a goner can get. The only thing of El Ron left to contact are remnant “energy” artifacts…kinda like the twitching tail of a long gone lizard.

I’m gonna put a post up in a few days stemming from Blue’s comment re: wrecking the Mission Network. Ya see, Blue, my view is that ransacking the Mission Network was merely the next “logical” step in a process that El Ron began in the early in life—a process that begat the Church, the Orgs, Saint Hill, the GO, Flag, the SO, the Admin “tech”, etc., etc.

My premise is all that “edifice” above is the artifact of El Ron’s desperate solutions to a horrid continuing PTP—“How do I continue to keep getting all the money and admiration I want for something stole, continue to steal, lied about and can't actually personally do without being found out or going to jail?” And yes, I’ll agree that El Ron was absolutely brilliant.

Face, you have done so much to invigorate this thread! I can't wait for your next post, thanks for giving us a preview of what it is going to be about. These posts are exploring some new ground which may not have been tackled by ESMB members prior to your appearance here.

It also pleases me that the thread is big enough and diversified enough to have two or more major topics going on at the same time. We currently have the original material for which the thread is named now being discussed again and also have our news magazine facet of the thread very active as well. The non Apollo portion of the thread is what has caused a large expansion of our readership and it is not only entertaining but has also resulted in some very high quality posts. I am glad to see that both aspects of the thread are thriving simultaneously.

I've had a Palm from the start. My contact list, my calendar, my memos, etc are all on my Palm. When I got a Palm, I wrote on it's screen. Then the founders of Palm split and started Handspring. Then I had a Handspring. Then Handspring created the Treo and was brought back into the fold of Palm. I've had Treos and Palm smart phones for years. They sync with my computer, and I'm always current with phone, address, etc lists. I never got an iphone because I didn't want to change habits. The current head of Palm is a former Apple alum, who was a big cheese in ipod development. he's staying with Palm, but will be reporting to HP. HP will take the Palm OS (Operating System) and use it to run tablets to compete with the ipad. Competition is reborn. again and again.

Carmelo, can you really negotiate checks made out to Carmelo Orchards? Its possible if you register Carmelo Orchards as a trade name or DBA in your county. DBA stands for "Doing Business As" I could register Lakey as well but its probably already taken. If you added an "S" onto your trade name, maybe registering as Carmelo Orchards Systems, then people could make the checks out to C.O.S. and you could still deposit them.

I know of one crooked home remodeling salesman who did exactly what I am talking about. The guy was introduced to a brand new contractor who was just starting up, say the contractor was called Rampart Builders. The salesman then registered a very similar name such as Ramparts Builders and opened a bank account under that name. He took a batch of leads the new builder had obtained by participating in a Home Show and sold a job for $10,000. He had the customer pay for the entire project up front by making out a check for $10K to Ramparts Builders and deposited it into his new bank account. After the check cleared his bank, he cashed out and closed the account and took off. After about 3 weeks, the poor homewoner called the real contractor, Rampart Builders, and asked when he was going to get started. Rampart never heard of the customer and the scheme blew up in the faces of the builder and the homeowner. I never heard how things got resolved.

Speaking of P.T. Barnum, he never gets any credit as a contributor to LRH's method of doing business but his footprints are all over the C of S management and sales manuals. I guess he will always be remembered for his famous remark that a sucker is born every minute.

What nostalgia that film clip brings back. 1941, all those 1930's and early 40's cars. We had a 1941 Chevy, a green four door. Toddler Lakey was driving around in those type of cars on those streets as a 1 1/2 year old in L.A. in 1941. W.C. Fields, what a character! The type of language which he uses is what I was trying to sound like when I wrote to Alex this morning. (Yes, I already put him on ignore). Big pompous words and a lot of bluster.

I loved the movie the Producers with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder as Max and Leo. Was it Dick Shane or something like that who played Hitler in the musical. What a riot that was! Springtime for Hubbard, somebody could play the Commodore in a full Navy Dress Commodore's uniform.... Just think,

Only reason I keep coming back to his thread is that between Lakey and all the folks here we know everything in the World….Lakey knows everything except that he is conceited….and the rest of us all know that.:wink2:

After having his case handled by Otto and his team of Class XII's, Ron would have been expected to go up on stage in front of his followers and thank Otto Roos and the team of Class XII's for assisting him in sorting out his case. Probably Otto and the XII's would have received hip hip hoorays. In looking realistically at this scenario, I could see that never in a million years would LRH allow something like this to happen. I saw right there that he would never share the limelight with another person and give them credit and thank them for helping to clean up his case. I think his preferences would be: to remain with a messed up case and yet be Source - 99.99%, to have his case totally handled but have to thank someone else for helping him - 0.01%. IF HE ALLOWED ANOTHER OR OTHERS TO HELP HIM HANDLE HIS CASE, HE WOULD NO LONGER BE SOURCE, THE CREATOR BUT WOULD BE ADMITTING THAT HE COULD ALSO BE PLACED AT EFFECT. To stay SOURCE was everything to him. There was no life for him if he willingly allowed himself to be placed at effect. Once I saw those pictures and tried to visualize him before an audience thanking Otto or any other person for helping him, I then saw that his entire personna was based on him, with the aid of his guardian Angel, always being at CAUSE and when he could no longer be at TOTAL CAUSE, he would then be dead.

Consider what happened to David Mayo after Mayo handled Ron: for a few years, Mayo was Senior C/S Int, but ultimately he was removed.

My personal opinion is that Mayo was taken out because he was too visible and popular, and thus a threat to the power structure.

Consider what happened to David Mayo after Mayo handled Ron: for a few years, Mayo was Senior C/S Int, but ultimately he was removed.

My personal opinion is that Mayo was taken out because he was too visible and popular, and thus a threat to the power structure.

I think that it was DM who took out Mayo because he was a threat to his power structure. LRH seemed to look to Mayo as a technical asset who would be the senior tech terminal for several decades until LRH came back. When DM got control of LRH's incoming and outgoing communications it seemed to be extremely simple for DM to oust anyone who was a threat to him. Mayo, Jane Kember, Pat Broeker, Captain Bill Robertson, Diana Hubbard, Mary Sue Hubbard and others seemed firmly entrenched in Scientology Management with strong bases of power and yet DM was able to instantly get rid of any and all of them with surprising ease.

Here again is another example of LRH not making things go right at his life's end. All of his closest family, friends and tech and management leaders were easily gotten rid of right before LRH's eyes and LRH was not able to stand up for or protect any of them from DM.

What's with your mouth? It looks like one of two things:
#1 - You were at your othodontists office being fitted for braces and there was a big earthquake and everyone but you ran out of the building. You were strapped to the chair and couldn't run.

#2 - They wanted to shoot a new James Bond movie and wanted the character Jaws brought back but Dick Kiel was too old now to play the role so you got the part and were being fitted for the iron jaw like teeth when that picture of you was taken.
