Hi Folks, am just chimin' in here.....

I'm pretty happy with the result of what's happened today, but have mixed emotions about it all.

I know what I know, and if I was sitting around with a bunch of mates or with a bunch of people who I thought were interested, it'd be easy enough to just give them the picture. However, for me, when it comes to cameras and recordings and anything formal, I tend ta fuck up and freeze. I get stage fright, and I know others do too, to varying degrees.

I thought we had a great opportunity here today. I didn't want it muffed, and I hoped we'd make the most of it. We all were of the same mind.

As it turned out, I don't think any of us felt that all the points we wanted to highlight were made. Personally, that's rough, but by the same token, by the end of the day, we were all pleased with what eventuated.

I for one am sorry that certain points didn't get brought up and stressed. However, I'm happy with what *was* brought up and with what will be taken further because of what was put on the table today. I'm confident that it's all good, and that it'll go forward from here, despite how we could have maybe made it a bit better.

All the crap aside, I wanna say thanks to the support team.....Liz (HappyDays), Greg (Supra) and Stephanie, and Scooters sis and hubby......They all helped make it a success today! Thanks and cheers to ya!

You got better as you proceeded. You brought passion, force and structure to the debate. You were the best speaker there IMO. The
little.....lets say " Blonde moment" ...just made you look human. :)

Don't worry, just follow your instincts and let it rip. And it will
be a joy to behold. :)

You know what the best thing about ESMB v CoS today is? That both will be tabling further evidence. Think about it.

I hope the Senators follow up on getting the promised documents showing the inner finances of the Church, including how much money is spent on charity in the church, how much goes to management, and also I really hope they follow up and get the IRS documents they were promised during the hearing by the guy from NZ, the OSA chick and the lawyer.

Those should be interesting.

Never took you for naive. The accounts in OZ are self assessed.

Any promised documents will be pieces of PR.

Not sure how to get accurate documents. Even if court ordered they
would be destroyed.

Needs another official raid at dawn. But the red boxes are gone.

Needs data series investigation/ standard debate logic whatever to examine matters.

One point, COS was said to have donated $1,000,000 to Narconon in Nepal. No doubt because they knew Scooter was appearing. Worth checking the time of this donation, and..... exactly how it was delivered, and to who,
and what strings are attached.

ie....pull the string. Lol!

There are hidden behind the multiple repeating footbullets a lot of sherman
tanks.

What the fuck else is firing them. :)

Congratulations to all of you!

To hell with being a perfectionist, you guys are simply extraordinary. What? You were expecting the Church of Scientology to take the mike and just say something like: "Don't bother, you got us, we give up--we will close down today. Sorry about that last 60 years." LOL

Watching the videos, I was left with one lingering feeling....

TRUTH vs LIES

Those who honorably and bravely testified vs. Scientology came across as responsible citizens stepping forward to honestly tell a simple, yet dark tale.

Scientology's mercenaries and cult members, on the other hand, appeared slickly manipulative and deceptive...liars who would bend, twist or torture any fact to avoid drowning. Unmistakably, this is Scientology fighting for its life, thrashing about--a fish out of water, unaccustomed to the glare of impartiality.

A thought resonated after taking it all in.

Scientology's rigid, rock-like position is no match for the ocean of truth that is washing ashore. It may not be fireworks every moment, but we are watching the slow, inexorable force of EROSION. Give it time.................

Scientology has no place to go.

Like Hubbard, it has been on the run, hiding from authorities for 60 years but.....it has been located.

Thank you!

^^^^ THIS ^^^^

So would how much goes 'up lines' to CST/RTC in the USofA.

And I'd love to hear their explanation of how money spent on PIs to track down SPs is a "public benefit"

Ha -- re: the glasses. . . . my son's studying body language right now -- practicing around the house etc. That business about peering over the glasses is supposed to be a power move, and then taking them off when you are making a point is supposed to give it more credibility and weight . . . can't say she pulled that one off very well . . . she probably should have studied the case more than the body language gimmicks.

Maybe it was the fidgeting or maybe it was the tight-lipped defensive "fightin'" attitude she had but she certainly didn't endear herself to anyone, nor did she sound at all confident or credible. Wonder if they've fired her yet.

It is more likely that she (and her practice) had not had enough time for preparation. As... The local OSA were going to handle everything and then Davie directed that they get legal counsel to speak for them, and the barrister was called at something like "the last minute" to help lend gravitas to their presentation.

It was obvious that she was ill-prepared, not even knowing where her backup documents were in the folder. The OzCult must have paid her to work a normal 120 hour week to prepare. You know, "Hill 10". She acted as if she hadn't had a decent night's sleep in a week, and she spoke as if she was somewhere else at times.

IMO, overall she did well, except when she forgot that she was addressing the Senate Committee instead of her practice's fellows!

Overall, Davie probably paid something like $50K (US, Oz $, who cares?) for her services.

Overall, I wish that we in the US had the same kind of reality-based Senators asking reality-based questions to formulate a reality-based solution for a reality-based problem.

Have a couple of good nights sleep and all will be well. Not everyone is allowed to testify before their country's legislators, and the actuality must be somewhat terrifying. Go to sleep knowing that you did well for the world at large!

I think that you and the others testifying have pulled the rug out from under Scientology in Oz. You and your compatriot's work this day is another brick pulled out of the foundation that Scientology has rested on for more than half a century.

You did your part, and you did it well!

PROOF OF PERJURY

About the lie she told saying she knew nothing about Fair Game.

My understanding is that Fair Game was cancelled officially (under orders after the first OZ inquiry?) but unofficially not cancelled (under Guardian Office / OSA orders advices etc.).

People in HCO and OSA HAVE TO STUDY fairgame- because they HAVE to know it is *technically* illegal. This is for their own protection for situations like they are in now- in the inquiry.

So she would have studied it on her *hats* along with the *cancelled* policy.

Their defence is *supposed* to be "We *used* to do that in the past, but that policy was cancelled a long time ago".

The point being that it should be easy to show that she would have studied up about it in the church, showing that she was lying through her teeth?

Has anyone got the pol ref? And evidence that it is part of HCO and othet department hats.

I had to study it myself on SS 1 or 2, or some division 2 hat.

I think the roundtable discussion was extremely successful, it conveyed a great deal of information, rebutted the CoS spin and anyone watching could see that you were speaking from the heart with honesty and integrity. This contrasts with the appalling performance by the CoS panel and Ms McBride.

Hey Carmel, you were "fantastic" and that :blonde: just made it more "real" don't worry, I am sure the committee will see through the "lies" that were told and you got enough across so thanks hunny for doing a great job :bighug:

I must say I was glad to hear, I think it was the spokesperson, say that ALL submissions were accepted, none were rejected, so even though I didn't get a reply mine must be there?????

Thanks again to everyone.... I'm looking forward to the next installment

What's up with WWP? Was keeping an eye on it, went to a meeting at work, and when I came back all I get is "Server Not Found" messages when I try to connect.

They get overloaded with visitors, another attack going on, or did they just lose power?

Anyone heard anything??

It's back up. Don't worry about it. WWP admins make daily / weekly backups of the entire site, especially after the last couple DDOS attacks. Normal admin maintenance.
