for some reason, nobody's scared of the skull on the shelf.

What are you people? Weird?

I was scared but did not want to admit it. That NWO launch panel you have is also scaring me. Zinj, that is a great pic. You look Illuminati, abstract, and sinister.

I agree that we have not seen any "dones" of any substance - especially considering the what "dones" could be produced from someone like Mike Rinder.

I would absolutely LOVE for Mike Rinder to shut me up and make me look bad for all that I've said about him by producing some major DONES.

An easy and immediate way for him to start is by answering some of the questions in the "Questions for Mike Rinder" thread right here on ESMB. He could do that tonight, in fact.

If he is as honest and open as he claims to be, there should be absolutely nothing wrong with coming on here and writing a few answers out - or even answering some of those questions on Marty's blog and staying away from this natterboard completely - if he was as honest and open as he claims to be.

But he doesn't. And in all the time he has been out he hasn't.

Why?

I don't know if he really is claiming to be open and honest. He's been asked a couple of times I think "Why should I believe you?" but that's not quite the same.
Other people are claiming that Rinder is well intentioned, something that Rinder did claim on the TV interview...if you can call allowing people to practise scientology without DM's influence, well intentioned.
One thing I think I've learned on ESMB is that people want so much to believe in the goodness of others that they are willing to go blind to maintain that belief.
Or at least so shortsighted as to be almost blind.
All very well to see the goodness, or potential for it, but that doesn't make all and every kind of badness magically dissappear. Sometimes the garbage has to be taken out first. (This does not mean "Kill bad people". It means bad people should become good and prove somehow they are good before it is assumed they are good, or well intentioned.

Well Said!!
They haven't helped anybody leave.

They have simply provide an outlet for some true believers to feel they are taking a stand and convince themselves they are showing integrity.

They've just provided a place for the true believers to park while they wait for a new Messiah to restore the awe and majesty of the Kingdom of Scientology.

If they haven't given up Scientology then they haven't left anything.

The illuminati drink Milwakees best?

No wonder they're impossible to find, I'd though they'd be drinking 25 year old McCallen.

Nah, I was more curious what the make of the acoustic was.

that's one of the Ibanez exotic wood compacts that are my current favorites.

I almost bought a third ebony one, but, some asshole was willing to pay more.

I also have a non-compact one in maple, but, I'm really in love with the compacts.

oh no, real persons drink Stella Artois...

...was in an establishment the other day and they didn't have Pilsner Urquell, so I ordered Stella Artois. Ooooh, soooo damn amazingly good!

When I routed out of that restaurant I had a floating TA at the examiner when they meter checked the question: "Would you want others to have similar beer to yours?" :D

Marty is no human being he is like a god....

....oh well no wait - he must be more important and more powerful than a god because he is the leader of the Independent Scientologists and here is a quote how these people think about themself:

"The independents are truly special beings,

they have courage and integrity.

They are the ones that by disagreeing to the abuses and squirrel tech

are guaranteeing that Scientology will survive.

Are the ones that from the outside are putting ethic in into the Church.

They are exceptional beings, true friends of LRH,people who know what ethic and integrity is.
I know many of them and I feel blessed to have them as friends."

"They are the ones that by disagreeing to the abuses and sqirrel tech are guaranteeing that Scientology will survive"

So my conclusion then is -because Hubbard said Scientology is the only hope for mankind this group will safe mankind and their leader should be praised more than any God before him because all other religions were and are not able to help mankind freeing itself.

:duh:

I mean - äh....
I have no words for this.....

Whatever I say here, can be agrued. If not agrued, then silently disagreed with.

My point is that there is no point in pondering and speculating.

My point is that Marty IS. And he does whatever he wants to do.

Secret of Scientology's success is gullibility of human beings.
And this secret was used heavily by LRH. It wasn't discovered by him. He just applied pragmatism to it and used it on people.

Having removed Scientology out of this world you won't remove people's gullibility (they always will fall for something else).

Marty and Mike are unraveling. People who follow them are also unraveling. It's a good process.

But! Those people who want to stay within the frame of that was given to them as the only worldview model, they WILL stay there.

Marty and Mike ARE their "stable datum" in a way that they still view the world in the same way and are doing good.

M&M DO have a right to do as they want.

This statement might make less ado about M&M, and also can make a positive change... THE answers.

Personally, I DO believe that CoS has been doomed to fail since it's been born. And M&M here are just some minor particles (in making it go to pieces).

Thanks for showing me that being a low-budget guy also has some disadvantages.:D

Man, your guitars look great, and one of those probably cost more than my whole collection of guitars, basses and keyboards. I recently bought a Stagg Strat-copy for 50 bucks, which is worth about $250 or so, now that I'm done with it. Cute little axe, and I left the microphonic behaviour "intact" for one of it's cheap pickups. Makes for some nice effects and easy feedback, that doesn't destroy my ears. The other two PUs took a long, hot bath in my wax bowl.

Now it's a cute little axe - very playable and with lots of useful and characteristic sounds. No pix though, Low-Budget-guy doesn't have a cam.:wink2:
