nah, was about '70 in Chico and we were driving bikes with 2 gallon Red Mountain Rose racks.
Was a true religious experience though.

Nowadays in Chico we do it on the Sierra Nevada Beer Bike while attending Beer Camp.

You know, now that you mention it my introduction came via a musician in Orlando who had turned my husband on to LSD. There was a little white wooden house across the street from the Winter Park, Fla mission which sat on Park Ave. It was an aesthetic place to turn on...ooohing and aaaawing about some woman he knew in North Carolina who was super clairvoyant after gettin involved with Scn. Good teen sleep over stuff for a Saturday Night. Everything starts silly when you are young and goofy.

There is a baseball bat---in someone's hands who "swung away" and didn't seem to care ! A real carefree kind of guy.
