That was funnee TAJ. Especially said with a straight face by a woman.

I will just put this here. I started out my cello playing career with a few years in the US Air Force Strolling strings, then moving to the Marine Band.

Strolling is where the violins and violas play pop tunes in basically a restaurant setting, usually at Officer's Clubs or the White House, and some other venues. As a cellist I sat with the "center group" which did not stroll but lead the group.

At one officer's club there was this woman with a very low cut dress on. With eyelash signals, all the guys soon were alerted to her. Every single guy ended up strolling to her table and at one point there were 8 violinists surrounding her circular table. The leader was quite pissed.

At a different job, a quartet was playing likewise at an officer's club. A 4 star general came up and said "I used to play violin, and have often wondered what would have happened if I had kept it up." Without missing a beat the first violinist said, "You'd be a Tech Sergeant instead of a General."

hy nozzie! are you lurking? you seem to hav been well entertained by the pyrOTechnics provided at your behest for your iggles last year. i'll be leaving SF on tuesday but ive been dweeziling fo my old freinds the Niners and thre should be some boffo gridiron a ford fiel on sunday. lions are 5-0 an last time they went 6-0 they beat SF 4 Nov 56 to do it. next year the to tied for the western conerence and in th playoff SF went down 28-27 after running up a 27-0 lead, a record which stood or nearly thirty years. Niners didn't hae another winning season until i showed up in the by in 1970. i was also here for each of their five super bowls. so... it should be some fooball worth watching.

Nozzie is lurking and wants you to know that he is reading what you are saying. He can't comment here because he is banned.

I never thought I'd be posted as the FCDC carrier pigeon. :melodramatic:

Nozzie hast been banned, and for the life of me I cannot understand why. He is one funny guy, and quite perceptive on things scientological. Ofcourse I also miss Zinj.

Zinj was only honorary FCDC. He was actually only a provisional Ex IIRC. Never in and never FCDC.

So this entire discussion is off topic.

I am very sorry Good Twin that you riled me up. I am exFCDC staff, screwed over by Don Cooper and ignored by everyone except when I couldn't find housing for their precious "pre-clears." I wouldn't know much about that because I didn't get 3 minutes of so-called "auditing" supposedly promised to me as a staff member.

No, I knew Nozzie well as well as Mystic and Uncle Sam and others. As such a circa 1970 person, I figure I can write whatever I like on this thread. I am slightly pissed off.

YES I KNOW zinjifar's pedigree.

And I still miss him.

Winston,

You got out before any of us and you've done pretty well by joining real Marines instead of a fake navy.

Remeber, there are a few people from back then that are still in.

You got the last laugh on them.

And by the way, Nozeno has been banned.

Yes ole buddy, I realize Greg Wilhere is still a weenie, and Bobby Wisner and I guess Penny too. For all I know Irene Breeden and Joe are also. What a waste. One question--did my leaving get anyone else to think about leaving, or was it so stupid that peeps got the idea on their own? Yes we all know Noz is banned. Free Nozzie! But I think he is happy. Still cannot comprehend what on earth he would have done to rile up the mods. Hey I made contact with a guy named Richard Westlake if you remember. His mom evidently was on staff, he just did public stuff and eventually got a gubmint job. Just one FB exchange was all...

I remember Rickie Westlake. I think his mother's name was Cindy. His aunt was public too.

Sam Liccardi is still in too. I'm prettty sure his ex-wife Sheryl is too. So is Stan Dubin.

I think some of the people who came around 1714-75 are still there and running the place. How pathetic is that?

Wow that is sick. I remember Sam and Cheryl, and Stan. Funny how I can't remember them until reminded.

I always thought it was funny how no one really tried to kidnap me after I left. Maybe my writing a letter saying "Winnie Smith has died" had something to do with that. Just proved to me they were as gullible as the people they recruited. The most sensible (and funniest) tale of escaping was that of Pandora. Evidently she played their game, all bright eyes swearing up and down that she now saw the light, only to walk away when she was finally left alone. Hahaha
