Leah and Katie are human beings again!

tom lose and slappy miscavige are going to need to put some ice in their bras after they watch this video to cool their tits!

Beauty grace truth and bravery vs Scientology avoiding the facts and talking the same old trash...

Games over you lost big-time

Miscavige it's time to surrender and retire and let Shelly out while you still can

The silence from Encrusted Alley's camp is deafening. Lol...

Did she get a Dispatch from Karen Pouw to STFU this round?

Or did she crawl into a huge vat of Rocky Road and hasn't been seen since Friday?

I just now went to read her twit page. Save the puppies, Kansas, sports, men, costumes ... where's all the foul-mouthed stuff and obvious innuendo? Oh. I see.

I thought the NPR interview was better, I mean, Scientology is so complex. THE VIEW interview was awkward for the first half where they seemed to stumble from question to question. But then at the 9:15 mark, Leah talked about how she couldn't just leave quietly, after reading hundreds of stories of others. That was a great point.

Leah will no doubt make a lot of money on her book, but I really believe she did this more out wanting to vindicate ex-members and possibly improve or reform Scientology. She understands the important role celebrities play in drawing the public's attention to issues, just as Tom Cruise, by virtue of being a superstar, has drawn so many people into Scientology.

But it works both ways. As a never-in, I noticed Scientology and what was wrong with it, from Tom Cruise talking with Matt Lauer. Then I saw the Tom Cruise video. I was ripe for reading about more religious crazy after reading UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN.

Leah knows that when she talks or writes about something Tom Cruise did, it will draw much more attention than when Marc Headley talks about it. And she knew that in order for the cult not to pull out the personal stuff, she had to write all about it herself, and I think that was exactly the right thing to do. Of course, she realizes that to anyone, even if they never rose above being a cleaner in the Sea Org, their life and how it was affected by Scientology is important to them, just as her life is more important to her than Tom Cruise's. I feel that just in telling her story so openly, she is speaking for all ex-members too.

In other words, Leah became interested in the experiences and lives of others in Scientology, instead of just the farcical notion that Scientology is helping everyone and the only thing that can save the planet, which is where Tom Cruise and John Travolta are stuck today. She grew up, and those two are still children of the corn.

That part made me smile. They asked 'should you leave quietly'

"You can leave quietly, but you stand for nothing.'

I agree. Her motives were very sincere. She didn't emphasize the money spent on it.

I found it interesting that Leah initially thought David Miscavige was ruining $cientology.
It was none other than our own Mike Rinder who cleared that up for her.
Explaining that the abuse is written into the recipe by Ron hisself.

At 5:20 in this interview Leah mentions that making a joke in Scientology can result in being subjected to disciplinary action. Any Scientologist who has been significantly involved will know about the church policies regarding "Jokers and Degraders" or "J&D" but non-Scientologists who hear of this may think that it is an exaggeration. This is absolutely not an exaggeration and the consequences can be extremely severe or it can start a series of events and investigations that result in extreme repercussions.

Regarding the Knowledge Report culture in Scientology, this is hauntingly reminiscent of Legalism in the Warring States period of China. Communities were divided into production units that maintained strict surveillance and reported non-compliant behavior on each other under threat of severe punishment.

http://history.cultural-china.com/en/167H8721H13207.html

Overall, these theories advocated the belief that all people are fundamentally flawed and that stringent laws and harsh punishments are required to keep them in order. In addition, his theories thought all humanity was selfish and evil, which added towards the cause for Shang Yang becoming prime minister of the Qin under the rule of Duke Xiao of Qin and gradually transforming the state into a vigorously regulated machine, the sole purpose of which was the elimination of all rivals.

http://history.cultural-china.com/en/167H8721H13211.html

According to Shang Yang's The Book of Lord Shang, the people themselves wanted a ruler to generate order. Social cohesion in the Legalist state mandated that the populace never escape punishment. The Qin dynasty used the people, for example, to maintain vigilant mutual surveillance over one another under threat of death.
