I am not trolling your posts, although it's amusing that someone who is e-stalking (e-harassing) me in his sig line is now accusing me of "trolling."

If this is about your desire to shut down free ongoing communication, then you're out of luck. If, on the other hand, you've been e-harassing me in your sig line so as to make me feel pity for you, then you've succeeded.

So in my opinion if you want to call yourself a Christian it is not possible to be a Scientologist at the same time.

Thank you. I'd love to know how quoting your opinion of me in my sig line adds up to e-stalking in your mind. It amuses me to have it there, it's quite a joke to me and probably gets a smile from anyone who actually knows me. It's not a victim ploy, it's a joke. I would have used it regardless of who uttered it. If it *really* offends you I'll remove it, just ask.

I have no desire to shut down free ongoing communication. I actually think that you perform a very valuable service here on ESMB with your encyclopaedic link-library. I also think that in answering some questions about my experiences in scientology, particularly about OTVIII, I perform a worthwhile service to ESMBers. These things are better talked about than left unsaid and, as far as I know, there's only one group which would prefer that the New OTVIIIs didn't talk about it at all.

If we're in a forgiving and reconcililiatory frame of mind perhaps we can start again. I'll forgive you for all past trespasses (real or imagined) if you'll forgive me mine (especially for having done OTVIII). ~ sorry, I couldn't resist!

To me "recovery from scientology" doesn't necessitate the abnegation of the entire subject. That's always going to be a point of difference between us. It is also a point of difference I have with many others here on ESMB but it never seems to become as personal or combative with others.

In the next day or so I'll attempt to tidy up my insults somewhat as long as you realise that, in my world, calling me "a closet scientology apologist" is a much more serious insult than my calling you "an idiot". Just kidding!!!

Well Pat - everybody is free to fantasize - if you would show Hubbards anti Christian, anti democratic and money hungry writings to a Christian theologian
he may tell you that you missed something here.

My mother was attending Scientology Services for many many years but her deep Christian believe prevented her from beeing brainwashed too deeply so she managed to stay a Christian all these years - my father did not-he became a fanatic Scientologist. The last years of her life my mother freed herself from Hubbards soul hacking and stopped doing Scientology services.
My mother gave us children the home and love we needed - my father left her alone with 3 children and he neglected his 8 children from three different wifes because he had more important things to do like saving a planet.

well but still it is all a question of the angle of vision you know - here in Germany the Nazis even managed to force both Christian churches into line 70 years ago, so that the soldiers who killed Jews and innocent civilians truely believed that they still were acting as Christians.
