How's That Freedom Workin' for Ya? The Power of an "SP"

You want to know how he came up with the figures?

Oh Pafh! It's too easy! He pervaded the MEST universe with a theta adding machine in one theta paw, and his trusty mark 5 in the other, then he obnosed how many were OOV (out of valence) in R6 AKA - the 2 1/2% 'ers - and then by using 360 theta perceptics expanded over light years times mouse power -- oh hell - he counted up the number of people who wrote critical articles in the paper (2.5%) and treasury told him how much money he had to give back to those who had read the damn yellow journalism (20 %) - thats how he did it.

He most certainly didn't pull it out of his bottom.

No matter WHAT the percentage might be, and no matter how one interprets Hubbard's ramblings, Hubbard pulled the figure directly out of his ass anyway you look at it.

I mean did he conduct a careful survey? Did he compile careful statistics, god only knows on what sort of criteria, spanning hundreds or thousands of years? Did his "perfect whole track recall provide the data"? Lordy Jesus, the crap Hubbard tosses out and the crap adherents accept as true.

Or, was he simply being "Big Thetan Ron", and his KNOWINGNESS did the math??????????? :confused2: :confused2: :confused2:

This is the key question in all of Scientology.

How did Ron do his research?

How did Ron learn so many things about life and numbers?

How did Ron know that the SP percentage was 2.5%?

How did he know Xenu was an evil ruler 75 million years ago?

How did he know that there were 76 planets in the Galactic Federation?

How did he know that it was founded 95 million years ago?

How did he know that Xenu ". . .solved overpopulation (250 billion or so per planet, 178 billion on average) by mass implanting."

Here is the answer.

"The best way to know is to pervade."

If you add up all those numbers, divide them by the square root of the size of Old St. Hill and subtract the number of people who once worked there and then multiplied that sum by 5.4 somehow it opens up a wormhole to the place where Crowley, Parsons and Hubbard are citing incantations while having sex magick. When you get there, all this will make sense, you'll see.

I mean, why bother getting all "OT" and all if any nasty "SP" can come along, make a snide remark, and then all of a sudden you are all sick, out of PT, and having accidents?

-snip-

SCIENTOLOGY: where you spend all your time and money eliminating command phrases you're subject to only to be subject to - *ahem* - command phrases.

Does this make any sense?

What is the difference between an OT who is disconnected from an SP and a WOG that is not talking to someone?

OT
(thinking to self)
I am disconnected from a low toned being. I am
cutting an entheta com line. I am utilizing my inalienable right
to choose not to communicate. I am putting in ethics on the SP by not
flowing power to them. I am salvaging the SP by not talking to them so
and getting the ethics gradients to work. I am removing CI from Ron's
command intention to salvage this sector. I am shattering suppression.
I am making it real to them that Scientology is cause by making them effect.

WOG
(saying aloud to the person)
I am not talking because I am really pissed at you.

CONCLUSION: Wogs are better.

Last night I got to be an SP and see the effects I can create. Wow!

A little history and then I'll get to it...I'll try to keep it interesting.

I used to be married to a well known musician, around these parts, who was the head of popular band during the 70's and 80's. They had many albums out, toured across the country with the likes of the Doobie Brothers, Marshall Tucker, CSN & Y, and many others you would know.

howdypic%202010-09-11_2.jpg

This band, Heartsfield, still exists today in a version of its old self. Well, while we were married, me and the head of this band, I used to go to all of the shows and became very good friends with the other guys in the band and especially with their wives.

images

One of the band members is a Scientologist, along with his wife. She and I were friends for almost 25 years until I had the unmitigated gall to leave the church at which point I became Cruella Deville overnight.

Cruella%20de%20Vil.jpg

Anyway, back to last night. So, last night this band got together for a show. There were lots of people there as it was a reunion of sorts with lots of family, friends as well as all sorts of fans.

Okay, I was there hangin' with all my old friends during the day and the male Scientologist, the one in the band that used to be my friend, of course couldn't talk to me so he ignored me (as I did him) but his wife hadn't shown up yet.

images
images

So, okay, now it's about 9:45 pm and we've all been partying for a while and I am on the dance floor with my old friends and the Scientologist wife comes in, sees me, and freezes at the door and stands there not knowing what to do. She stands there for quite a while. I pretend I don't see her.

She then decides to run off and go to the dressing room behind the stage and stay there for awhile. I'm thinking, "Well, if you want to hang back there and be alone and not where all the fun is, be my guest. Sorry to make you have to do that! Really - I am."

images
images

After some time, she comes out and stands far away and talks to some people. It's awkward because if I wasn't there, she would definitely come right over to talk to the other wives - after all, she belongs to the group of band member wives. It's a small group, she's part of it but, no - not tonight. Cruella is really messing things up.

images
images

I explain to one of the wives what's going on. I went back and forth in my head about whether I should do so or not and then thought, "WTF, it's the truth and it's ridiculous and I don't care who knows. I'm the one that's free." I decided that I would no longer protect the church, its image, or any of its crazy rules or the people who blindly follow them.

images

"So, you see, the Church of Scientology is insane."

Well, of course my friend thought it was nuts. My Scientologist ex-friend, finally came to sit down at a table right next to ours but sat there, with her back to us, and didn't say a word. She didn't come over and officially say hi because if she did, then she would have to say hi to me too or it would look really bizarre to the rest of our friends.

images

Well, I had tons of fun with the girls and when the show was over, I had lots of fun catching up with everyone but I just kept noticing how empowered I felt. I'm thinking to myself, "What's wrong with this picture?"

I was the big, bad, horrible suppressive person and yet I was free to move about the room and talk to anybody, even her if I wanted to. No one was gonna throw me in ethics for anything, including telling my friend what a crock of shit Scientology is and how dumb it was that my former friend allowed this to end our friendship and how she refused to think for herself.

I could see that I was cause and she was effect in this situation. There were many things I could have done (but didn't) that could have cornered her like a caged animal and made her say ridiculous things in front of normal people.

Of course, I didn't do that, but I could have. For that reason I realized how much the C of S creates their own monsters and puts their members at total effect. With all that "Shatter Suppression" tech, they're running around shutting their blinds and forcing their parishioners to bale them out with their hard earned dollars.

images
images

Didn't Ron, on so many occasions, tell Scientologists not to blame others, make them cause, give them power? Isn't that exactly what the church does when they label someone an SP?

I could walk through an org and practically part the seas - seriously. Think of the absolute commotion we could cause (if we felt like giving them the time of day).

I would love to hear everyone else's SP stories. It's simply amazing how much power the church has given you.

So, I ask the Scientologists inside the cult of greed, "How's that freedom workin' for ya?"

You know, it's amazing how infantile Scientology is in so many ways.

This whole posted panoply shows it - pouty children with backs turned to one another.

Look at Hubbard's affirmations or admissions or whatever the hell they are.

They read just like my goals list in middle school - you know...all the chicks collapsed in orgasmic puddles at the sight of me...all the guys succumbed to my physical prowess...no enemy could stand against me...I scored all the touch downs and proved all the teachers as bumbling idiots to my arcane and deeply insightful wisdom...my reputation would precede me with throngs of fawning admirers, especially those that displayed high levels of pulchritude!

At some point in life the idea of having slaves, either sexually or financially, became repulsive. However, Hubbard is an adult and finds these things desirable.

That speaks volumes.

Here you have a guy who realized many of his dreams - writing books, recording albums, publishing photographs, lecturing on various topics and being sought out professionally in many areas. Very impressive until you realize that his audience was a contrived audience of hypnotized zombies devoid of volition and robbed of their critical skills. He couldn't be successful on his own so he had to have a captive, literally, audience to sell to.

Kinda' like Jeffrey Dahmer and other rapists who capture, drug and torture their "partners".

Degenerate...

I know! That used to give me quite a healthy dose of cognitive dissonance.

So, on the one hand we have these complete loser SPs who always make mistakes, can't complete cycles of action, only deal in yesterdays, can't plan for any future, can't see, have martians and FBI agents all around them (Hubbard anyone?), etc., etc.

vs.

"Those guys up there mean business (I never knew who "those guys" were). We have to match or better their efforts or we're all doomed" "Psychiatry is the sole source of decline of this universe"

The sole source of decline and they've never gotten anything done or completed cycles of action?

These odd ideas that get thrown out require lots of mind bending.

Remember all that crap about "so you're trying to push stats up and they're not going up. Well, you must realize at once that somebody is on the opposite end working as hard or harder to push stats down!"

And here I thought that staff was "OT"?

Right. I was, of course, trying very, very hard to communicate in such a way that no one in his/her right mind would take offense to it so that when he did take offense to it, it would make his irrational behavior obvious.

What Marty's comment, back to me, finally got me to fully see is that he would rather ALWAYS defend a sycophant over the encouragement of open dialog. He will never see me comment there again and that is his loss (but, of course, only in my opinion). Jeff Hawkins was a much better moderator than Marty will ever be but, then again, Jeff didn't let that pesky Scientology devotion get in the way.

I tell ya', Syn, we've talked before and I've admitted that Scientology saved my life and I believe that to this very day.

As a result, because that is a strong statement and belief, it's difficult to separate from something that does that. There was a time when I considered actually pursuing Scientology just on the merits of it's efficacy as I've stated. In this light, I, too, spoke with Rathbun and I did it in a similar method of carefully structuring my "comm" so it wasn't polemic or anything.

It was met with the derisive arrogance and make-wrong that is the perfect smug Scientology/Hubbard taint that we have all recognized and perhaps emulated before...like a glass of ice cold water tossed in your face or the smell of L. Ron's rotten teeth wafting across your face. That'll learn ya'!

I don't know whether to love or hate the guy but it certainly buried any reach I had for Scientology and the spiritual-rot ego-worship that it is.

Sounds like fuzzy math, committed to paper, to relieve LRH of the martians, FBI agents, and BTs he had making his scalp itch and clothes smell funny.

WOW! Ain't this the truth!

Another excellent post, Syn!

Martians = aka, Marcabians!

FBI agents...and the KGB...and the CIA...and the DOJ...and the IRS...and the FDA...and the AMA...and the APA - I mean this list NEVER ends! Also, it's just items, items, items - if you know what I mean.

And BTs.

<snip> However, if anyone believes Hubbard said it's only half a percent, then he or she had better rush over to Marty's Blog and correct his MU. :)
That's a magnifiscent idea!

(I have found the ref. on one of their own putrid websites.. It IS 21/2% of the whole, 100% of 'a race' ie. humanity.)

In the long run, it doesn't matter what Hubbard meant. We are all in the very fortunate position of having the right to reject anything he said and to view him as just another human being. That means he's not a pundit. Or he is, but we are free to reject or accept what pundits say and we don't have to give anyone altitude or a free hall pass...

BTW, I don't, myself, "believe" or even see verifiable, clear cut evidence for either of these two types of SP as Hubbard defines them either in writing or by the actions taken against them. Life is not so black and white.

Here an excerpt from the Wikipedia article on the Anti-Social Personality at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisocial_personality_disorder:
The prevalence of this disorder is 3% in males and 1% from females. . . .
Hubbard didn't invent the term. He wasn't the first to notice the type. Hubbard's description of 12 anti-social characteristics doesn't match the "standard" characteristics at all (apart from one — lack of remorse), but that does not mean that the personality type does not exist.

Hubbard's ideas about the anti-social personality being stuck in an incident of being overwhelmed long ago are not part of "standard" psychology. Are they accurate? I don't know. My knee-jerk reaction is to say of course not, but I have no idea at all. I'm referring to some past-life incident here, not to the whole ludicrous Incident 1 trip.

Well, I understand. I did say "as defined by Hubbard". I do know that there are dangerous people with anti-social personalities. Of course I know that but I, myself, have yet to meet anyone that fit the description as laid out by Hubbard. In addition, he just made stuff up. On the one hand he's talking about the 2.5 % and the 20 % and on the other cautioning people not to go around labeling people SPs as the state is rare. Certainly 20% is not rare as that is 1/5th of the population. That's a lot of people.

I think he wanted people paranoid and self and other-policing at all times. Make for easy membership control.

With all the different aspects of paranoia in his writings, sp's driving down stats, sp's surrounding the org with pts people, people being effect of sp's, sp's responsible for all of society's ills, hidden SP's crashing orgs, S&D's, PTS checks, 10 Augs, Shattering suppression courses, isn't it fairly obvious what is going on?

The uppers he was taking were making him paranoid, and he wrote all sorts of policies, bulletins and devised tech in a mad attempt to solve his paranoia? His fear of SP's, psycs, PTS's etc was just his drugs talking?

And we bought into it since he was a good enough writer to make it all seem so real?

I mean, has anybody taken, oh lets say Hitler, and run him against the 12 points of the anti social personality to see if it really makes any sense?

The whole idea behind a 10 Aug - there was some past suppression that caused you to fall off a ladder that was ill placed on wet ground is pure paranoia. Your auditor should have been hatting you on the proper way to set up a ladder (if you hadn't had the cog by now) instead of chasing down big SP Aunt Mary because her cat of thirty years ago was similar to the one you were trying to get out of a tree.

It was just drug induced paranoia we bought into. I rest my case.

And it was the ultimate cop out - an SP. It was the get out of jail free card - I have an SP on my lines. The ultimate escape from being responsible.

I wonder what went through his mind in the end - "I coulda been a contender - if it wern't for those damn sps.. " oops wrong movie. But you get the point - it was the sp's who prevented him from pulling it off, or whatever the hell it was he was trying to do. And that became the witch hunt known as PTS tech.

Wow.
