What's new

I AM A CHRISTIAN SCIENTOLOGIST

Never, in all the echoing corridors of time have I thought, suggested or posted that discussing things on a message board is intrinsically confrontational.

Perhaps you missed my response to Hoaxie where I said that some posts on this thread were confrontational and that others were not but were lively conversation- that both sorts of posts are here on this thread.

I love'm all!

According to Hubbard:

1) Christianity is the result of false memories implanted by space aliens.

2) Humans including yourself depend upon Scientology for salvation. If you have
any hope at all it is because of Scientology.

3) Jesus was just a "shade above clear", if he walked into a CoS today he'd have
many years of auditing needed before he approaches the spiritual ability of
the OT VII and VIII's in Scientology today.

There are many more reasons I can add to this list which illustrate why Scientology and Christianity are incompatible. First do a Clay Demo of each of those three points and I'd be glad to extend the list further.

I would gladly disprove number 3) by walking across water except that the last time I tried it, I didn't have these bothersome holes in my hands and feet.

I don't believe it!

You guys have gone on for this many posts and NO ONE mentioned the fact that in the OT three story, It's taught that Jesus Christ is an implant? What is going on here? Are you guys still Scilons thinking you need to keep it secret?

Pip; You need to know the OT III story. It's a total lie that it will hurt you to read it before you do the level. Millions probably have without any harm but maybe a sore side from laughing.

The short version is Hubbard taught us that we are all possessed by dead alien thetans, called 'body thetans' sort of like the 'legion' guy in the new testament. You use the e-meter sort of like an electronic Ouija board to 'solo audit' which is really a misleading term, because you still have an auditor and a preclear; the body thetan! The idea is to get them to leave and go get their own body. Anyone with enough money always has thousands of these spiritual fleas.

Another major part of this teaching is the heresy that the whole story of Christ is nothing but an 'implant' done to these spirits when Xenu hypnotized them way back when. In other words, if you pursue Scientology to it's higher levels, you will have to completely deny Christ. You have to embrace the idea that your Christianity was nothing more than your OT III bank, and it needs to be 'cleared'.

Hubbard clearly taught this.

I cannot really comment on OTIII since I never went further than clear. From what I have inadvertantly picked up from the Internet - I have no burning desire to do the OT levels. My current stable datum on these matters is "only an unhealed healer charges" - A Course in Miracles. The bible says "My God will supply all my needs".

At the very least all this upper level stuff demonstrates how powerful the imagination is.

I just had a thought, just as two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time and if they do it causes the vanishment of both objects, maybe it is the same with two religions. You see I do not consider Christian Scientology a religion, what I believe is that the two subjects together lead to the only true religion, that is the one that is acceptable to God. "To look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being tainted by the world" James 1:27 So I see Christian Scientology as God's religion - how about that!

Please define 'object'. Because right now, alcohol and water plus a few additional ingredients are occupying the same space right now, in the beer bottle right in front of me. And these 'objects can easily be separated by just a simple distillation.

I wonder what would happen if instead of imposing the second cross on the first, you could make the two crosses occupy the same space at the same time.

Cool, and well done. Have you ever read HCOB 11 May AD 13, called "Heaven"?

There is a copy of it here: http://www.carolineletkeman.org/archives/1118

Here is an excerpt, but I suggest you read (and Understand) the whole thing:

I clicked on that site but I got bored and started yawning - mind you it was late at night. The fact is most of that stuff is outside my reality level, I have enough to do figering out the now without worrying about Zillions of years ago. Certainly most Metaphysical thinking people do not believe in a literal heaven.

That's a very astute reference SP.

Pip, I did say I could go all day pointing out reasons why Christianity and Scientology are incompatible, and the attempt can only make you apostate in both camps. Here's another.

Jesus told the parable of the Good Samaritan, where a charitable man feeds, clothes and cares for a complete stranger.

When Sea Orgers at the end of their lives have given all they can in labour and cash and are no longer useful, Scientology off loads them.

SP Heretic x9

What the CofS does is not necessarily what Scientology does. If you clear a cannibal you have a clear cannibal. If you clear a group of cannibals presumably you have a group of clear cannibals - simple.

SP and Heretic cannot occupy the same space at the same time hence SPHeretic= 0.

If you had said SP and Heretic that would have been different. I am a CS not a C and S.

I don't think this thread will go anywhere but in circles. If people call themselves Scientologists, they don't care about logic and reason. They have certainty and base everything on a stable datum: Hubbard was a good guy (maybe he had some flaws, but they don't change all the good he has done bla bla bla). Now add the propensity to take the Bible literally. Blind faith and "certainty" form a protective shield that is impenetrable.

This is true.

Cool post Div6!

I am reprinting the entire "HEAVEN" bulletin because there are some other things that Hubbard says that succinctly reveal lies he later told about how Scientology welcomes and embraces Christianity. It proves Hubbard would say anything one moment and something quite contradictory the next, if it suited his deceptive game.

Remember when reading this (with the BOLD HIGHLIGHTS added) that Hubbard later claimed that Scientology was non-denominational. Scientologists still claim that until this very day.

Wow, that's good to know that all our data on the whole track is factual, Ron. For a moment there I was reading your bulletin and thinking you are quite delusional. Thanks for setting the record straight. I'll never doubt you again since you made it clear that it's all factual.

Whether the CofS embraces Christianity or not is none of my concern. I will say it again I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN, if weare talking religion, and similarly I am not a Scientologist if we are talking THE RELIGION OF RELIGIONS.

Separately they are both true in their own way, and as religions they will always be in conflict. When will you guys get it - I FOLLOW JESUS not Christianity or L.Ron Hubbard or the CofS

(snip Hubbard nonsense)

OH MY GOD! HE IS SO FULL OF SHIT!!!!

I can't believe I used to believe that complete & utter rubbish.

Every now and again I realise I'm not really over the embarrassment. I doubt I ever will be. :bigcry:

I think you are lovely Emma, but I prefer the picture without the 'fag'

That well describes any "true believer", whether he be a Scientologist OR a Christian (or both). I have known a few Darwinian evolutionists who were as bad as any over-the-top "religious believer".

These sort of folks are VERY SOLID in their FIXED IDEAS. And, just as it is impossible to have a meaningful/rational conversation with a bag of hammers or box of rocks (heavy, solid), the same is true with these sorts of "true believers", because the HEAVY MENTAL MASS in the minds of people who entertain such "firm beliefs" (aka "certainty") renders all sensible communication impossible. If you doubt this, just read through THIS thread. :confused2:

Hubbard was correct when he described how fixed ideas disable lookingness and prevent the acquisition of "new data", because the fixed ideas refuse to allow the possibility of any alternative to the fixed ideas. And, while Hubbard explains the mechanics of fixed ideas quite well, and also while one might think that this knowledge might innoculate one against the acceptance of fixed ideas, in fact the opposite is true in Scientology. Because right after defining the nature of fixed ideas so clearly, Hubbard then continues to imbed even MORE FIXED IDEAS into the slushy minds of overly-accepting over-indoctrinated Scientologists.

Hubbard's system consistently functions as a continual contradiction. Just as with fixed ideas, he will toss out some interesting and accurate description of some aspect of the mind or psychology, and then immediately turn around and USE IT AGAINST YOU! Of course, you don't ever imagine that he would do such a thing because he just explained it all to you!

It is amazingly blatant bad 1950-ish sci-fi, huh? The dates with all the zeros, to camouflage the fact that he was making it up with a bunch of pseudo-scientific 'findings'. Of course, he was pulling it strait out of his ass all the time.

You still around, Pip? If you are, get it through your thick skull that your guru was actually one of the greatest con-men of the twentieth century.

Too right I am still around! Funnily enough I thought it smacked of science fiction but not the sort I enjoy. Now some of his early work I thought was great "Typewriters in the Sky" for instance. As for Ron being my guru I must admit I did see him at one time as my hero, but that was because I admired his 'get up and go' but now he's got up and gone.

My thick skull - I 'resemble' that!

If I were contemplating being either a Christian or a Scientologist, (and I've been both this lifetime), I would at this juncture, look at the histories I should inherit; and the company I'd be surrounded by.

There is no group on this planet that has more blood on it's hands than those who believe that Christ is God. The Crusades, where Christians killed anyone they could find, the spanish, austrian and holland inquisitions, the witch burnings, the beheadings, the one hundred years war, the thirty years war, the mass murder of Jews, pogroms, and the Holocaust are the major events. Literally thousands of priests and pastors in the present practise pedaphilia, adultery, murder, rape and embezzlement, with no sign that Christ's 'love' is going to change or reduce any of their crimes.

In Scientology, the crimes are less only because governments aren't scientologese, and the movement is too young to have amassed Christianity's record of genocide and torture. But Scientology is hurrying to catch up. This, Pip, is what you've signed up for. It proves that there are two invisible ladders in each person's space. One is intellect, the other is spirit. They are not connected, in spite of Anne Coulter's continued attempts to bring them together in her revolting books. One can be an intellectual giant, Wm. Buckley is an example, and at the same time be a spirtual kindergartner. He was a Catholic. Oscar Wilde, Steve Allen and many more brainy Christians, ditto.

You are clearly intelligent. High on the intellectual ladder. But you're not much above the first rung on the spiritual ladder. I wish you all happiness. And I hope the next lifetime you end up high on the rungs on both ladders. While you're still in this life, do take a look at the two horrendous groups you've joined up with. You can start copping out as Christians do by the millions, blaming it on Satan, and refusing to let their precious Jesus be responsible for any of it. But he is. He's ultimately responsible for all the madness and criminality of his followers. He's their inspiration. As for Scientology...Yuck!:bigcry:

Of course that's true for every firm believer, I was just pointing out that a combination of two fixed beliefs is extra tough. The Bible is a collection of metaphors, those who take it literally are just as indoctrinated as died-in-the-wool Scientologists.

I got what you meant - I wasn't disputing you at all. I simply used your post as a jump-off point to focus on a certain aspect of the dilemma of "belief". I agree that adherence to TWO systems of severe fixed ideas would be "worse" than one. :omg:

Like drinking from both the red pitcher AND the orange pitcher of KOOL-AID!

If you are a "captain" when you drink from ONE pitcher, would you be an "admiral" if you drink from TWO?

Here it is. You need to copy the code for the picture itself (mouse over the picture and view properties). It is not that the "JPG won't load", but that you tried to use the code for the web page instead of the code for the actual image itself:

http://media.fukung.net/images/20879/38fb243f97d9ec520010b083992d1422.jpg

which is different than the code you used:

I know what a FZer is, what is an Indie?

It's a term I coined (that later went viral) that means a non Church Scientologist who may or may not want to refer to him/herself as a Free Zoners. I took it from "Independent Scientologist" which was a term that had, of course, already existed for years before I got into this stuff.
