I don't believe any of them believe this is a correct way to handle anyone. I think there is a lot of coercion in the Sea Org, so people tend to do what they are ordered to do as the alternative is years in the RPF sleeping on cold hard concrete and doing heavy physical labour and never seeing your spouse. Or being thrown out on the street with nothing and cut off from all family members forever. It is the sacrifice of personal integrity for immediate avoidance of pain.

It all started with Scott having a mental breakdown. He lost it. This was after months and months of sleep deprivation. The "church" already knows that severe sleep deprivation causes mental breakdowns, it has dealt with its own OSA Legal WUS staff going "Type III" because of enforced no sleep, but it has continued to do it. It is defined by CIA as a type of torture. What they did with Scott, in embarassment of his condition, is CONFINE and ISOLATE him. Then the story continues. I did write Scott with you query and here's his direct response ~~​

I started getting pretty noisy about all of the outpoints I was seeing on the ship, in the Sea Org and in the Church of Scientology as a whole. I was questioning too many people and threatening to expose the whole thing as a scam.

That, combined with ‘Showing up” COB several times was enough to seal my fate. The next thing that happened was that Owen Starkey torpedoed me with Black Dianetics. CO CMO Ship Jennifer Alpers already new that he had done it when I told her about it later. I can only surmise that it was an intentional attack intended to break me mentally. It wasn’t until the last couple of months when Griffey Blythe (AOLA Snr C/S) changed the people “guarding” me that I actually got some help.

One of these days I’ll get the whole story out there and it will fill in the blanks.

That was brilliant! So clever to have the translations up above - LOL!!! I loved the bit with the special edition e-meters and the borderline natter. Just lol again!! It's astounding that we ever fell for this stuff when you see it parodied like that - I think my IQ rose 40 points just from leaving!!

I have not had time to catch up with all your videos with all of the packing I've had to do - or all the music videos my favourite people post either - and I am really looking forward to catching up with all of them once I get a bit more settled in America, but I am just so glad I did not miss that one! I love watching you and J. Swift work together - you're such a fabulous team and it does make me laugh - but the serious ones are great too when you are both asking people questions.

I hope you are both well - I was upset to read on Tony O's blog about the recent harassment you and the Headleys and the Rinders have been subjected to. Surely someone can put a stop to this. Freedom shouldn't mean freedom to stalk and harass other people.

And your birds are so lovely - it is beautiful to walk in the door and be greeted with the bird song and pretty little birds flitting about. On the bright side, Scientology is dead agenting themselves. What public official is ever going to believe anything they say the next time they cry wolf.

Hi Karen - I loved your video - small point - I had difficulty hearing you in the first part - maybe the mike was pointed wrong or something? I like your idea of balancing it with humor - there are so many aspects of scientology that are that way. Perhaps you might want to parody the late night reg drop by? With you longingly eyeing the slice of birthday cake John's about to eat - since you've been on a diet of rice and beans. The irate wife in the background - John - it's your birthday party for Christsakes! I remember Gretchen and Wendy bitching to me on a home reg cycle validating me because I let them in, whereas, on an earlier reg cycle, they saw this OT 8 running upstairs to hide and sending her 7 year old kid to answer the door and tell them she wasn't there.

And Michael and Howard saying their flows were stuck and if I could give them a few $ it would unstick their flows and they could go reg somebody for a whole lot more. David Light said the same damn thing to me years before - maybe it is an old ploy...

A very poignant question is asked at the end of that moving video.

"How can a church do that? How can a church ruin you?"

The word "ruin" resonated so loudly because that describes the first moment of contact a person has with the cult and it is the last moment as well. "Finding a person's ruin" or "ruining the person" is embedded in every cycle that Scientology uses to manipulate everyone within their gravitational field. Ruining is the controlling idea of all dissemination. Ruining (utterly) is also the controlling concept underlying all Fair Game.

Scientologists, just like the SPs they fear so greatly, are experts at ruining. They even do it to themselves and their own "church". Enjoy the show.
