Geir is no longer a Scientologist, but he's still enthusiastically promoting his "huge gains on its OT levels." He expressed the same view several months ago.

I don't think he realizes how many people, reading of his "huge gains," decide to do those levels - perhaps even in the CofS, after all, he did his inside the CofS.

He seems to be stalled on the bridge off the Bridge.

I'm not concerned about Geir. He's doing fine and, eventually, his awareness will change.

It's those who, reading or listening to him talk of his "huge gains," etc., who decide to do Hubbard's mind f__k "OT levels," that concern me.

Yeah, as smart as Geir is, it took him a quarter century to crawl his way UP the Bridge, only to figure out that Hubbard's tech to Clear & OT doesn't work.

Now he is successful crawling his way OFF the Bridge but he still has that telltale cult "automaticity" where everything needs to be positioned as a "win".

Being a Scientologist is kinda like falling off a motorcycle at 80mph and then giving a success story about how if it were not for the accident, you never would have had the opportunity to have the huge win of running out the engram.

Yeah, it's a very odd interview the way it is edited. I have really enjoyed all the earlier interviews with Geir because they had a coherent and understandable message, delivered with his charm and intelligence. But this one…..ummm….mighty strange. Here's why. . .

The message that Geir delivers about Scientology's "tech" and "bridge":

1) Would be fully repugnant to COS Scientologists.
(horrific tech degrades and squirreling)
2) Would be fully repugnant to Indie Scientologists (horrific tech degrades and squirreling)
3) Would be fully repugnant to Ex Scientologists (promoting the tech and OT levels)
4) Would be fully indecipherable to Wogs as to what the hell he is suggesting.

That last one (#4) is the most interesting.

Geir is NOT suggesting that the Bridge leads to Clear or OT.

He is NOT suggesting that the OT levels handle Xenu and BTs. He is actually saying (without being explicit) that the OT levels as written in "scripture" by Hubbard are a complete lie.

He is saying that HE was able to run the OT levels and do it in a way that is entirely different than what Hubbard wrote; a way that nobody knows or understands (since he never says what he did exactly) which gave him certain "wins" (which are vague and unspecified). I do recall in one of his blogs that he claims that the OT levels are a placebo, but that he would "do it again". Geir never explains why a placebo (which is known to be a placebo) can be done and done again with "gains".

A Wog listening to this would have no freaking clue what the hell he is trying to say. It's an awful mix of discordant & conflicted ideas that has a hastily added on "smiley face" that says "the tech can give you wins!" But he only really says that it can give HIM wins, not anybody else, necessarily. Kinda like a demolition expert telling kids in grade school that he gets "wins" on defusing terrorist bombs before they explode. What are they supposed to conclude? LOL.

As an Ex-Scientologist, I can only surmise that Geir is "in transition" from being a Scientologist to being an Ex-Scientologist and that this is one incredibly muddled and confusing part of his cult hangover.

Hi HH,
He says he'd do it all over again. He has commented how CO$
has betrayed its origens and original purposes and also that he made lots of gains.

You describe Geir as being muddled and confused.

That he is in "transition" is the grail for critics.

It is usually or often a false grail.

For example I'm not in "transition".

That he,we, Tom Dick and Harry are in transition is
an evaluation, possibly an invalidation.

I love Marty's latest posts on the problems with Scn.

Client centered. He recommends all should read Carl Rogers
who espouses this ideal. As does early Scn.

"Geir is NOT suggesting that the Bridge leads to Clear or OT.

Didn't get that as the message. He strongly recommended OT 2 and 5
and others I believe.

OT 2 was my favorite level.

Geir also dosn't recommend involvement with CO$.

This we all have in common.:coolwink:

I believe that is standard tech. It's called a Contact Assist.

"For example I'm not in "transition"."
Example of what? Needing a why finding & de-bug?

"That he,we, Tom Dick and Harry are in transition is an evaluation, possibly an invalidation."
R-Factor #1: I am not auditing you. R-Factor #2: Nobody outside of the cult gives a damn about the "Auditor's Code" because it is not even followed by the cult itself. R-Factor #3: If you are not yet in transition, try to figure out how to get in transition.

"Didn't get that as the message. He strongly recommended OT 2 and 5

Yeah, my favorite level of Scientology is also about auditing out implants (the implants that Scientology gives you which result in your believing you have implants)

ok, now I need gadfly or Veda to pull this together and explain it better than me.

Hubbard talks about Fac One and the "doubt" that one would have believing History of Man.

And as Arnie notes on another tread, regarding 'suggestion"

http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthre...rom-the-1952-Issue-of-The-Journal-of-Hypnosis

And hubbard says the "reactive bank" gives "doubt".

It's double speak, it's a sales talk on mocking up a "reactive bank"

as it tells one what is wrong with someone, and that would be the "engram" as the single source of "what's wrong with a person".

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Geir took The Scenic Route through scientology.
He didn't even care what the outcome of each level was supposed to be; HAVE CASH, WILL PAY.

I will repeat that. He didn't even care what the outcome for each level was supposed to be. HAVE CASH WILL PAY (FOR HOBBY SPIRITUAL GAME).

Now, how can you lose with that Hoaxie?

As a wog I can clearly see that Geir tries to excuse and justify himself. ‘There are many tools, there are many paths, scientology is one of them, works for some etc.’ (Marty does the same).

Geir denies he was conned and abused, refuses to see himself as a victim of scientological abuse, thus normalizing the abuse.

There is an expression ‘arse in a tub’ (Udarnik should understand). It is when your arse is in the tub and you are trying to get out to restore your dignity, but instead you just wiggle your arse still in the tub.

What is so wonderful about Geir is that he is evolving out of the mindset before our very eyes and his revelations are read and considered by many who would not otherwise consider other points of view. As he exited Scientology, so have others. Anette is a wonderful addition to his life and our team of exes. I don't take her evolution out lightly and, as it seems, neither does Geir.

Keep in mind that he was not a resident of the USA, but in a country that saw little of the insanity we saw. He was isolated from much of that. He did services because he was seeking what many of us were seeking. He's not a scientologist any more. A good thing! But not so long ago he was one and defending the tech, so if he still sees value in levels that he felt he gained from, and has no objection to others doing them, so be it. We were all of that belief at one time or another... many still are. It's a matter of viewpoint. For me, the whole 'audit out the BTs' thing is so disturbing and introverting, but for some it's just a concept, a belief, a game. We all had "wins" on bridge actions when we were doing them. I particularly liked my Life Repair and some of the grades. That does not mean I support them now, or the auditing process.. but at one time I did, even after I left. I cannot judge the pace it takes or does not take for one to see what I see now, nor can I be so selfish as to think ' I know best'. I only know that Geir, like all of us, are a work in progress out of a bad mindset that never gave us the freedom promised.

If people want to get auditing, let them. From my observation, most eventually stop and move on. Geir is no longer interested in more. A wonderful thing for those who feel they were messed up by it in general or even damaged by it. Not everyone feels that way, especially if they still see things via their 'wins'. I won't tell someone their wins were not wins. I just won't. Let Geir have his wins... and don't discourage him from evolving as he's been... Just because you may want to throw out the 'baby with the bath water' doesn't mean everyone else does.

I love them gang-bang style.

I never experienced them, gang bang style.

I only had one deep sec check. I was exhausted after it. But I believe now that I look back on it, the auditor was too, and he couldn't believe,

1. I never went whole track

2. Because of no 1 above, my comm lags were, lets say Loooong, in trying to answer the question. And why, because I answered the question several times, and there was no answer after that.

I guess I didn't crack as one might say, and that is crack into past lives. :confused2:

If I would have been gang banged sec checked at the time? I can only speculate now in looking back. I would have probably walked out with some violence if they didn't allow me to walk out. Me, at the time, being 6 feet tall and still having some muscles since I was a sports guy in my younger years.

Well, with gang bang sec checks, there are at least 2 people in the room minimum. The door is closed and guarded from outside. You are in a part of a building where your shouts cannot be heard. For your size, they would have had a handler bigger than you in the room, along with a Class IX- Class XII auditor with presence. No force.. at least to begin with. From one of my experiences in this type of torture ( as there were more than one) the handler is the tough guy, asking the questions, demanding answers, while the 'auditor' is getting the reads and pretending to be what we all thought an auditor was supposed to be. Confusing, overwhelming... especially when the auditor tag teams with the guy yelling at you, playing with your head. There's nothing in the room to throw but a chair or heavy old desk or the e-meter if you could grab it... You try to get up, you are tone40 made to sit down and if you don't you are physically made to sit. You try to head for the door and the handler grabs your chair and stands with it to block your exit. This goes on for hours and hours. No food, No sleep. Over and over again, questions, accusations, demands for answers which, if they are not the right answer, get repeated louder and louder, with the auditor telling you to answer while the handler is yelling in your ear. Where there is more than 2 going at you, it must be beyond torture... but for me, two were bad enough.

Eventually you are numb. You give in. You do what they want because you know you can't win. That is the victory of these gang bang sec checks.

Consider yourself very fortunate that you did not suffer the gang bang sec checks forced on public, which were so rampant in the early 80s in Los Angeles and else where.

Hey Karen,

I have attached four pages from the lecture "Axioms 33-49", Oct 11, 1951 from the basics series called "Thought, Emotion and Effort".

I hope you read these carefully as they explain a lot. DM is the Sergeant. Who knows what went on behind closed doors when he was in his formative years working directly with Ron.

These pages explain the random beatings and slappings as depicted in Scott's, Jefferson Hawkins, Hana, Mike & Marty, Bruce Hines videos, etc.

These pages explain why the church is in a constant state of emergency. The war against the IRS, Drugs, Psych's, illiteracy, etc.

These pages explain the formation of the Sea Org navy, the 1965 KSW PL and all the PTS/SP hco pl's & hcob's

all for the blind obedience & thought stopping.

There's the flag which is LRH, scientology, ARC, etc which the public only see. And then there is DM the sergeant that SO peeps see..
