Mark 'Marty' Rathbun: Scientology Top Management (video of Marty being ambushed)

Bloomberg never ran IAS - he was in ASI , understand the confusion of course.

Before ASI he was FSO staff.

Sorry I got my endless Cos abbreviations turned around. I meant ASI, I'm just more used to typing IAS and I guess that's why I did. The cult is alphabet soup insanity!

Gotta make you wonder how small the cult truly has become that he can be the sole source of direction and leadership. At least in the 1980's and 90's the organization was far too large and complex for him to micro-manage to the extent he does today.

A good point. If there were much at all going on, he'd be wanting to delegate some responsibility.

But then again, how much has he ever done? I seem to recall somebody — maybe Jeff Hawkins? — saying that all Miscavige ever cared about were the big events at which he got to make speeches and accept applause. It doesn't really take a lot of high-level strategic thinking to make a few hours of his speeches in a year. Explaining complex but unavoidable realities to the general membership is one of the difficult but important jobs for which executives earn their high pay, but David Miscavige is no executive. He's running Scientology. To communicate clearly, all he has to do is keep stuff simple when he makes it up.

I'm not sure he is really the sole source of leadership. Even in its attenuated state, the Co$ is too large and too geographically spread to respond to the control of a single person. What has happened is that executive positions go unfilled, and control of local orgs and global organs devolves to the next lowest person in the COC, violating any number of Laffy's orders about hats and hatting. There are now large numbers of unofficial command systems, broken chains of communication, and I suspect individual fiefdoms in places like Taiwan that are far from Davy's make-believe Navy HQ.

Good one - this is EXCELLENT, CREATIVE, SUPERB - ASTONISHING ! LOVE IT ! :blowkiss:

I think I've found a way to "explain" the "Confront and Shatter Marty at LAX" using $ciloon Standard Tehc.

It goes like this:

Drunken Maggot has done an "eval" of the "Why" for His stats going up but the rest of the cult failing.

It's because His programs aren't being done, specifically the one to do with removing the Rathbun threat.

Now Rathbun was identified as the "Who" several years ago - Feral and I were told that OSA (who of course get their Divine Inspiration from Slappy Hisself) believed that the problems in ANZO at the time were all due to Rathbun and Rinder "running" the locals. DM cannot conceive of ANYTHING running without an Org Board as that IS the Standard Tehc of organizations everywhere. So there has to be a "head of the Org Board."

The "why" is probably "Rathbun wants to take over" the cult that lays the Golden Eggs. It's easy to "explain" Rathbun's current "PR lines" about Hubbard being a miserable mess and His creation being even worse. Rathbun's simply running the CDEINR Scale on "everyone" to get them to give up on Hubbarddreck so that Rathbun can take over the shell and resurrect it, once DM and the Loyal Officers are out of the way.

Now this "line" was run by Dexter, Zinj and whole lot of others during the Zinj Wars and there was all sorts of "collaborating data" for this that I could never get my head around. I now believe that DM actually believes Rathbun WAS trying to take over ESMB as a stepping stone to taking over the cult. And OSA of course was trying to use this "real situation" to "expose Rathbun" as the "truth" of course }"as-ises everything." And that should've ended Rathbun's power push right there.

But Emma, Feral and others didn't all go "aha!" and drop Rathbun. So Emma had to be taken out - so we had the despicable act of having her arrested for totally spurious charges. She didn't "cave in" but came back with a vengeance (just when she was trying to retire from the board) and that means of course that DM would've had to do more eval as His minions obviously didn't handle it ("as usual.")

Now there's been all sorts of "flaps" recently and I'm sure the Demented Midget believes Rathbun is behind it all. The raid on SH/IAS event had Ax and others who have met/are sympathetic to Rathbun and so must be taking orders from Marty. And I'm sure the Three Stooges had to M9, clay demo their MOs before their "confront and shatter" mission. And I'm sure they'll retrain their "PTS/SP Tehc" from the bottom up once they've finished their FPRD programs personally programmed by Deputy Malignant Hisself.

EVERYTHING that's happened to the cult in the last several years will have been traced back to Rathbun, and of course DM "knows" this as His brain farts told Him. And keep telling Him. And every thought that He has is Divine as He is "totally upstat" and so can "get away with anything" as long as He keeps His stats going up. So who cares what Wog Lawyers (and Wog Law) says He can or can't do? He knows that if He gets Rathbun taken out of the picture (for Marty's obvious major crimes against humanity) everything will revert to "normal."

DM is Standard Tehc personified - He knows, as He's the one doing all the work to Keep $cientology Working. His Golden Ages have been sabotaged from within and without by the SPs and DBs but they're just yapping cur dogs.

Comments? Agree? Or am I totally wide of the mark?

Ditto :roflmao: :hysterical:  :evillaugh: OUTSTANDING  LOVE IT ! :blowkiss:
OMG - so funny it hurts. :melodramatic::p

The demonic midget will dispose of all executives, eventually, one by one, and replace them with more terrified and compliant ones, and then eventually repeat same process on them, like every other despot that has ever run anything too large for one person to handle. If it looks like a shit-hole from the outside, that is pretty much an indication and reflection - of the 'one' at the top . . . The rest are just terrified minions running around with their heads cut off - literally - meaning - they left their brains somewhere else (in the shit-hole?), and are just praying they don't end up dead or in the shit-hole . . . But they all do, in the end. Tick tock.

Hubbard Shizophrenic context: Hubbard liked being called "The Old Man" - This is actually a reference to the leader of the Assassins cult in the middle east, who was referred to as "the old man of the mountain".

Modern context: The only freedom gained in $cientology is the freedom to destroy your enemies.

I liked the link to the wiki article and while I am always ready to think the worst of Hubbard I have to nit-pick and say the "The Old Man" is pretty bog standard slang for referring to a) a father - as in "My Old Man's a dustman" or "My old man said "follow the van" ' b) a captain on a ship. Usually naval.

Usually naval.

In the US military, it's generally used to refer either to Company or Battalion level officers, 0-3 or 0-5, since those guys both act as father figures for the teenage E-1 - E3s and are pretty close in age to the actual fathers of the younger enlisted. If you've read any of the classic memoirs of that era by junior enlisted folks (e.g. With the Old Breed by E.B. Sledge), you'll see them refer to the commanders of their companies (Captains in the Army or USMC) as "the Old Man". The command level sergeants, as old or older than the commanders, are often referred to as First Shirt or Top.

If, as in Tubs's case, he was the highest ranking officer on his ship even as an 0-2, he would have been referred to that way in the war. It's also used by officers in the 0-3 to 0-5 levels to refer to flag rank officers in command of their units, and since Tubs commandeered the Commodore rank (O-7, now Rear Admiral, Lower Half), he would have liked to hear SO officers referring to him that way, since it would have re-enforced his compensating activities for having been flushed out of the real Navy so unceremoniously.

So this military mindedness then would appear to be the wellspring from which "status" evolved, in essence from "rank" specifically. One certainly carried more clout as an "OTVII" in my day than as an HQS Course completion even though the HQS completion would be more capable from a purely technical perspective. But then "rank" usually means being above those rank and file involved in matters of the mundane such as production.

The Lies and deception are off the charts.
It is schizophrenic conduct.

Pump up one thing on their website while doing exactly the opposite.

After 199 days of bulling/harrassing/hazing Marty and Mosey and more recently Marty at LAX, Church website
is touting "No Bullying" and I am guessing trying to lure in parents of bullied children as it is such an epidemic in the US

Yea, That confused me too....

Back in the 1990's it was kinda a rumor in Scientology public (in LA ) that ASI was "secretly" the "top org" within the C of $ cult structure. (at least that was what I heard)

I thought this was because ASI controlled the LRH copyrights.

They had a rather substantial building on Hollywood Blvd. Plus right next door was another building...that I didn't know what ORG controlled....( I had heard it was a conference area...or something like that....I've forgotten what the sign said..)

If anyone here could talk about this a bit....and perhaps shed some light on this rumor....I'd appreciate it.

Thanks...

Cynicism honed to a fine art. Is there no low to which this evil organisation will not stoop to enrich itself?

ASI only owns Hubbard's pulp sci-fi crap. They have a big building or may look important only because they are officially a "secular" organization supposedly just representing the Hubtard's *cough* literary estate. They do that "Writers of the Future" contest too. They have more of a need to impress the "wogs" since they are supposed to promote Hubbard's non-scientology writing.

I do know a lot of SO thought of ASI as a bit of a plumb position because they got paid far more than a typical SO member, because ASI is "secular" they had to follow minimum wage laws, etc... So you actually got paid at least minimum wage at ASI which is fortune compared to typical SO pay, and things like SS tax, workers comp and unemployment insurance. They wear civvies, etc.. so it actually has some of the comforts of working for secular company as opposed to 100% SO. (Though we know it all is SO and the cult tries to skirt every rule they can to ensure that, but they still have to walk a fine line.) IIRC SO members at ASI got more deducted from their pay and were expected to contribute some portion of their paychecks to the cult because of their substantially higher pay.

They are also probably one of the very few organizations in the SO that are expected to interact, to any substantial degree, with the general public and society at large to promote the non-scio shit of Hubbard. (Of course, the whole point is to use the secular sci-fi crap to spark greater interest in Hubbard in general, and hopefully lead them to the bridge to total free dumb!! )

Some Ex-SO here could probably fill in more details and possibly correct anything I may have misunderstood, but this is the general gist of ASI or was up until the last decade or so - my source of info. is a bit dated so changes could have been made since 2000.

A few comments. I know you appreciate my feedback. After all, as we both know, you are surrounded by yes-men who will only tell you, “Sir, that was great, you’ve really outdone yourself” and so on. You know you can depend on me for some constructive comments.

First, that opening montage. Brilliant. With all of the talk about Scientology being a ”sci-fi religion,” any lesser being would have shied away from that wall-to-wall science fiction imagery. But not you! No, siree! You didn’t flinch from presenting Scientology like a cheesy sci-fi video game! You must have had the Gold Special Effects guys (didn’t know there were any left!!) up day and night. Oh, right, they work day and night anyway.

And I see you’re still using Jeff Pomerantz, the over-the-top voice of Scientology. I have a suggestion: Have your Survey Network (if you still have one) ask Scientologists what they REALLY think about Pomerantz’s voice (clue: they hate it and make fun of it).

And that set. Amazing. It looks…well…exactly like every other set Henning Bendorff has ever designed for you. I guess there’s a virtue in monotony.

About the speeches, uh, one little point. Danny Sherman keeps larding these things with clichés. You know, those phrases we’ve heard over and over that make all your speeches sound the same?

“And, yes…”

“which in turn…”

“which is to say…”

“And it all begins like this…”

“All of which in turn…”

“Which sums up like this…”

“Notwithstanding…”

“Moreover…”

“And that has everything to do with…”

“So, then, yes…”

“More to the point…”

“And that brings us to…”

And so forth. Maybe you should ease off on these things just a bit and try to make the speeches sound different from, um, every other speech that you or Danny has ever given.

Question: are you still claiming credit for personally writing the speeches that Danny writes for you? Does he know you do that? And is he really as gay as he sounds?

And the “rolling thunder” technique you told us fledgling speechwriters about so many times. Yes, I remember, that’s what you called it. Brilliantly executed here. How could I forget “rolling thunder” – your way of presenting information that just builds and builds and builds – all on one long run-on sentence preferably - leading up to a massive applause point. It goes sort of like this: “Take hundreds of orgs and missions spanning the planet and add to it thousands of missions, groups, dog grooming franchises and ice cream vendors, add in all the people who have ever Googled “Scientology,” add all of the people we’ve ever even thought about disseminating to, and you have a worldwide juggernaut spreading the truths of Scientology to billions of people worldwide, reaching into every school, police department, drug cartel, Subway sandwich franchise and government on the planet, with LRH’s message now reaching 76 quadrillion beings planetwide, and THAT’s what I call Clearing the Planet on a gargantuan scale!!!” (thundering applause).

Brilliant technique. And the good news is, you don’t have to have any actual statistics or information that demonstrate any real expansion, you can just roll off the generalities and exaggerations and outright fibs like a freight train, leaving the faithful Scientologists aghast at all the “expansion.” And voila! They are convinced! They know THEIR local org is empty and failing and can’t pay the rent, but they assume that ALL OTHER orgs must be booming! And they know THEIR local “ideal org” building is a big empty white elephant, but assume all others are racing forward on their renovations schedule!!

#1 Jenny Devoct Linsen was not permitted to sleep for 1 week. 7 days of sleep deprivation circa 2005. CIA describe sleep deprivation of this kind actual TORTURE. When she was finally permitted to sleep, Miscavige ordered all INT execs to "watch her sleep" and people were not permitted to leave the room til she woke up. So she slept (embarrassing) with 100 pairs of eyes on her. And here she comes as David Miscavige emissary to win some points by him by hissing with venom at Marty ? WTF ?

snip...

Thanks Karen for sharing this story about Jenny. It's important for me to see the humanity in people like Jenny. I mean it's important for me to see that she is vulnerable and I'm sure not why but it is. We had humanity when we were in. We laughed and learned and did great things and suffered and we were real people if a bit nutty. Seeing Jenny adopting a smarmy, attack-dog persona is hard to stomach. She looks so artificial and nasty and mean and low and repulsive. Simply denigrating Jenny's behavior doesn't do anything for me. However, watching very closely it's obvious that she's playing a game that isn't her, but it's convincing except when considering how much effort and energy she's putting into it. If my ex-girlfriend drove 200 miles to tell me I'm unimportant and she doesn't care about me, I'd have to think of her actions say otherwise.

If Jenny and Davey really, truly didn't care about Marty, they wouldn't have even stopped.

It's insane to think of the abuse Jenny has suffered and still asks for more and even thinks she is doing the right thing by helping "mankind".

:omg:
