This was a HUGE surprise for me when I ran into it as case in 1981!!! I was working in sales in an area where no one had any specific territory or boundaries. I felt like there were saboteurs counter intending my own godlike infallible intentions within the confines of my own universe. I went into some kind of dramatization."Did you see her intending that?" Why how dare she. I went rabid on the subject of counter intention. Absolutely purple. I think I must've believed I created the universe and how the hell did these free radical intenders get in there. Off with their heads!!lkwdblds
There is an ego driven impulse to be competitive, counterintending a God like impulse to encourage another person and grant them beingness and rejoice in their talents and contributions to the world. It seemed to me that in our original decisions "to be", we did not anticipate the existence of competitiveness, it just fell out of natural interactions between beings. Breaking off from "cause" we were not equipped as well in the art of being effect point and basically "winged it", just doing the best we could without really having any tech in the area. That is kind of the area which the process got me to look at and I found it very helpful to look there.
Good breeding consists in concealing how much we think of ourselves and how little we think of the other person.

I know.
I think it is "OT" enough to just let the good things happen without getting into analysis. Finding a WHY and all that stuff can be so distracting.![]()

This is an interesting speculation, did it lead you to any conclusions, any actions, what was the upshot of it all? BTW, in some schools of thought, including The Magic Thetan's, you DID create the Universe, your own Universe. You created your own universe in the literal sense of the word and you constantly are creating it and recreating it through your intentions and your postulates. As your considerations change, your universe changes.
.
I contacted Johnny 3 weeks ago. He has phone sessioned me before.
That thing I mentioned running into in 1981 keyed back out after a couple of months. It hasn't come back. But your post reminded me of how idiotic things got with me. As for my conclusion...I just felt like maybe the loss or invasion of one's own universe thru the cause of another was a hot charge. I was reminded of LRH on the Class VIII course spitting fumes about the difference between listing and nulling because he had this basic premise that he was deliberately being counter intended or something.
.So you were on the Class VIII course taught by LRH. Of course that is extremely impressive! It helps to know these things about one's background, when trying to have a dialogue or offer advice. Well, now I won't make a fool of myself. You did graduate, didn't you?
OH hell NO! I was just one of the students giggling behind the checksheet about how riled up LRH could get.
BTW, since you were a show girl or something of the sort in Las Vegas, did you happen to know a guy named Eddie Rabin, who was a champoin billiards player who was staff at CCLA, living there in the staff house for several years in the early 70's. Eddie was a pretty good friend of mine. The way he made his living was by being a dice dealer for high rollers. I believe he worked in a special high roller casino on the top floor of the Desert Inn. He made a lot of money up there and had his entire bridge payed for.
Wow, The Desert Inn. Thats an oldy. Nope the guys I knew from Scn working there left in the late 60s. I live in Orlando. My brother worked at Olympic Gardens. My family work in associated fields there not all in clubs. I myself was at a place called Circus Circus in Orlando for 10 yrs. I was a cocktail server only and then went to bartending when the Follies types began changing into a real loose commodity. There were 3 major club owners back in the day. You could transfer around to the suburbs or to Tampa or Cocoa Beach and still have the same employer. It was a good gig. I wore my share of costumes believe me.
LRH seems to have had some real case issues about people invading his space. Yvonne Jentzsch just lived to promote LRH. Everytime she was thanked for something, she would reference LRH as the source of her abilities. She never took credit for achieving anything but instead always gave LRH all the credit. Even so, he was suspect of her because she was so very popular out in L.A., especially amongst Celebrities and her staff. I was a lowly admin guy in Treasury but I was able to discern that he was unmocking Yvonne as early as 1972 as I write about somewhere around page 7 or so of this thread. As far as I know, I was the only guy on the entire staff of 150 people who had any inkling that this was starting to take place. That's why I included my own name in the list of CC's smartest staff members.
I always remembered that it was said that the reason for the Flagship to be at sea with the other vessels was to inhibit any counter intention and to keep the comm lines cleaner. Yeah, counter-intention was a biggie for the old man. I guess Xemu snuck counter intention into the very fabric LRHs world.
Oh, well, congratulatioins on being a Class VIII. My own universe just changed now that I found out this data.
No NO NO NOOOOChange it BACK!
Great having phone sessions with Johnny as well. He is quite a guy! I am operating using his philosophy and it is working well for me so far. Its pretty much all clear and no background noise going on in my mind. I am taking that as a good sign that I am staying in present time and am almost never getting keyed in, the one exception being that now that I am getting older, I often misplace things and have trouble finding them and that still will cause a little case to turn on in the form of frustration.
TMT has not given me a session just recently. He is busy and I have been too. But he is the BEST. And I AM going to use him soon again. .
As I am sure you have noticed, panel discussion, with well meaning, well informed and intelligent people is one significant way to make case gain. C of S does not allow this and that may be their undoing.

Interesting talk with Norman Dodd, former Congressional investigator. It appears that hubbard wasn't so bat-shit crazy when it comes to his rants about communists, bankers, education, and third-party.
Over 50 minutes, but worth the listen.

Here she is. 36 years as a professional dancer and choreographer, a "Certified Master Teacher of American Jazz Dance" and theater concert dance director and owns her own company, with over 300 students and "free standing" studio building with the exact same type floor that Baryshikov has in his studio. A real sassy, wacky and classy filly and I am smitten, smited and smoted and she says that I'm "the man of her dreams" (poor thing). And yep, that's a natural "Beauty Mark" on her left chin.
I'm the big guy on the right.![]()

Do restaurants recycle the bread basket? Are most of us bad tippers? Food Network Magazine surveyed chefs across the country — anonymously — to find out everything we’ve always wanted to know.
She does look very young (without any FACS assistence)....from head to toe...and, more importantly, she is young at heart and spirit.
One of my nicknames for her is her current age, "Double Nickel" (55).I'm a couple of miles from Santa Monica on that famous highway to the West Coast out of Chicago.

For this old, high milage, banged up, scared up and too many times "rode hard and put up wet" cowpoke...so far so good. We've known each other for nearly 20 years (she taught my daughters) and had our first date 22 months ago. We both grew up "as Country as Dirt, Sweat and Dreams". We've been "Us, going forward together in this world" for 548 days. We're both "two time losers" but, like the Fools for Love we both are, energetically and hopefully pullin' the arm on the slot machine again.![]()

Its one of the hardest jobs in the world. Every large Disney area hotel has a restaurant and lounge. I was always being asked to sub in the restaurant. I always said I had a slippery disc. I'd rather have a root canal.
When its good its really good. But I have seen all of this stuff. And then some. My biggest pet peeve is the way restaurants halfway prep the chix breasts to speed up the order later. YUCK!!! And you cannot get minimum wage earners to check the temperature of items on the buffet or refurbish the ice packing..
I have favorite G-R-E-A-T restaurants, but what I have witnessed in 30 yrs is that if someone is having a problem back in the kitchen, it probably is going to affect your day too.
