Still, it's lovely to see you all reacting with such powerful spirituality.
This has happened time and time again on chat boards all over the net when somebody ventures off their safe home thread and goes into another thread and gets into it with some others posters and runs back to their home thread they tend to drag back some stuff on their cyber shoes that ends up tracked around what used to be a neat little home thread.
That is all that happened here. Somebody went out, had fun, and drug it - no matter it may well have been unwittingly - back home. Top it off with cross posts between threads and it sort of tends to really add to the melee.
Did it change the thread? Most likely forever. Such is the nature of the net.
Sort of way late to now decide to not like the results.
It'll be fun to watch from here on out.
Yes, that is exactly what good, effective auditing does.
Given the changing tech, pc's sit down with different definitions in mind, and different expectations. The metaphor of clearing a bank of charge and blowing charge gives the impression that charge is simply blown away. Or, earlier in Dianetics, charge is moved to the analytical mind. My point is, we are surrounded by life. We ARE life. We communicate with each other. We mis communicate. We violate each others' expectations, goals, purposes, and do other things during the give and take of life force.
Today, I am who I am because of my participation in Scientology and adherence to Hubbard's written and spoken words. That gave me a tremendous boost in life and an orientation that I find useful to this day. On the other hand, Hubbard was a pathological liar and a vane, self-centered old fuck.
In 1989 I was in the process of rejecting everything that Hubbard said or wrote. Ultimately, that was not helpful. I could have rejected everything, all the info, everything I did personally and every win I witnessed in pc's sitting three feet in front of my face. Then what?
I say, I could have... But there was no denying, for me, the truth of my experience. Slowly I picked up a piece of tech here, a piece there examining each piece to determine if it were shit or Shinola. I am still sorting. Some things that I originally accepted as the real Shinola turned out on second examination to be the shit that I would not want on my shoes.
My task now is to reexamine the things I learned in Scientology for the third and fourth times, determine where Hubbard inserted a twist to satisfy his self-interest and -importance, then communicate my findings to anyone who will listen.
That thing about charge, in Scientology it is gotten rid of to the glee of ignorant, trusting pc's. There is a thrill to getting rid of stuff. "Wee!" F/N, VGI's. In some instances this type of EP turns out to be a lessening of responsibility, not an acceptance of more. The more trust the gleeful or the dedicated place in Hubbard the further in the trap they get.
As for me, I accept what comes my way, manage, align, or realign, then grow stronger. Not all life force is easily converted. Discernment and decisions have to be made. What is the ROI if I invest time, energy, effort, life force in this person, place, thing? It's an OT process, and it doesn't come easy.
Lakey,
Do yourself a favour and get out of this thread, these people are not your friends and we are really not your enemies (though you may miss the nutter-like and terribly significant ramblings elsewhere).

Well, Mr. Baker, my precise Mr. Baker...

Diana, I do not have any idea what was edited. Some other poster yesterday mentioned that the videos had been edited. Mark then made some comments to that person and Mark referenced an earlier posting of his, I believe #11,795, where he had mentioned it as well. That was the first I new that editing had occurred. I do not know how much editing took place or what was edited out. Mark knows way more about that than I do. ...

Hey, Lakey.....the Bad Seed wants to influence you right out of your own thread. Seems like lately she has a problem with the continuation of the most powerful thread on ESMB, which you started and have continued, along with some others, as well as a problem with your continuing to post here.![]()
Your opening sentences which I highlighted in red are in complete error. ...

...
And, God, I've tried to subtle with Lakey and gotten no results.
I think most people get that what I object to is this forum being used by some extremely few posters to try to keep people in the church staying in the church and making those recently out feel badly about getting out. ...

And, fellow posters, I ask you this :
Do you get your visiting family to look at what somebody said about you on a fucking chat board?
Or, in real life, do you run around sharing your online life ?
Which leads me to :
Is being online and what other posters say about you really the most important thing in you life?
Did you watch the videos over on the Candy Swanson about Hubbard thread ?![]()
And I don't see this to be true at all, Toad.
No one here is 'pro-church'. Similarly, none here but acknowledge that Hubbard could be a Right Royal Bastard. And, those of us here who are 'pro-tech' to some degree also tend to be very open to improvements on 'standard tech' or alternate forms of tech or, as the church so elegantly puts it, 'squirrely'.
Ain't no 'purists' on this board neither. Purists won't come near this place or, if they happen to chance upon it while exploring the internet, stick around long. ESMB is too heterogeneous for purists.

... So, FoTi, can I die happy with my coffee? Please?

Back when I was a sailor I had an able bodied seaman working for me who was something of a 'card'. He used to say he wanted to leave this world the way he came in, naked and between some woman's legs.
