Where did Karen go? I was enjoying her posts and now she's disappeared. Has she departed for the holidays or something?

What I hope to do is copy the relevant posts of the actual abuses into the WIKI so they are more accessible and that will happen when Emma has the time to do the work involved, she said probably after Xmas. That's fine....meantime I see no problem with the thread continuing?

Makes sense. Taking all the relevant stuff out and getting it cataloged in one place is a great idea. Then, it really doesn't matter where this thread does or doesn't meander to. :)

Annnnnnnd, speaking of continuing threads, my opinion, meagre as it is, is to let threads continue into what-ever they transmorgify into. In 90% of any thread worth its weight that gets derailed along the line, most of the good stuff is in the first few pages, if something of world-shaking importance suddenly comes up, well then, the world-shaker can simply start a new thread on topic, and if it is of great significance for all, I am sure the mods won't have a problem with integrating it to its proper perspective (they're pretty good at figuring stuff out imho and deserve mucho respect).
I've noticed over the last short while requests to 'end the thread' type of stuff, well, no, it doesn't really work that way imho, it ends when people stop posting in it or it gets frozen in thyme, and my response is, 'where the heck is mah sammich!":p

The culture is based partly on policy, but also on Hubbard's confidential instructions. Hubbard's written, recorded spoken, and transcribed confidential instructions trump publicized policy. Rank and file Scientologists don't see this part of Scientology except, sometimes, when experiencing its effects. Even spitting in people's faces originated with written instructions from Hubbard. Hubbard designed Scientology to operate on the pattern of a criminal conspiracy, and it still does. Hubbard also designed it not to be fully comprehended by rank and file Scientologists, and it still isn't. What's remarkable about places such as Marty Rathbun's blog is that the folks there are "out," some for years, and still don't comprehend. The objective, apparently, is to institutionalize or, otherwise, sustain that lack of comprehension in a "group" called "Independent Scientology." It's very strange.

Hidden data lines indeed!

So you are asking the readership whether you correctly understood information which you claim came from a private phone conversation to which the readership could not possibly have access. Right.

Well, I've messaged Karen to drop by and weigh-in on the matter and confirm whether she ever had any such phone conversation with you. Of course, I have no idea how soon she might respond.

Hello,

I'll speak wog - I forgot Scientologeese vocabulary and I am an enturbulator

What I would like to enturbulate is that I understood that

Karen would like to be left alone for a while as she felt being under pressure

So could you please respect her , and understand That she is a tall girl, and SHE has a life (as in the sentence ''get a life'')
We ALL respect her need to be at peace without being asked questionnaires
IT's evident, that the last thing she want is your [STRIKE]seccheck[/STRIKE] questionnaires about OSA

To HH - Mr Breenan, Gadfly and others

Thank's for your message to Karen - you are all real gentlemen and gentle ladies :wink2:!

Who are better friends than people with some opposite views and beleifs and are having so much admiration for you ?????
Don't leave us alone too long Karen :wink2:

How Jeff Hawkins disconnected from the Sea Org.

He threw his GOLD RING into the Pacific Ocean.
Excerpt from his book "Counterfeit Dreams"

QUOTE (JEFF's words)
I took a long walk down State Street in Santa Barbara, all the way to the beach. At the end of State Street, Stearn’s Wharf juts out into the Pacific Ocean. It is a long pier, filled with shops and restaurants. I walked all the way to the end, past all the souvenir shops, past the fishermen with their lines dangling into the water. I walked to the very end and looked out over the broad Pacific. It was a bright and sunny day, white clouds on the horizon, and distant sailboats tacking in the wind. I felt the salt breeze in my face, the warm sun.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a heavy gold ring. It was blocky and ugly, a huge square with the number 25 embossed on it, and over that, the Sea Org symbol. It had been presented to me in 1996, for 25 years service in the Sea Org. I felt its weight in my hand.

Then I spun and with all the force I could muster, hurled it in a long curving arc out over the waves. It disappeared without a trace.

I turned and walked back towards town.

It sounds like this may be a violation of his billion year contract?

Karen would like to be left alone for a while as she felt being under pressure.

If you are addressing me with that, I certainly do not require you to tell me what are or are not Karen's wishes. I get that kind of information directly from her. :coolwink:

Good Twin,
For the record, I would prefer you love me too, but not in an appropriate way.

Let's see. Where did the Midget come from? :hmm:

Oh yeah! He was born to true believers who were proud of how easily and quickly he was brainwashed.

He wasn't just raised with Scientology principles being discussed in the household.

He wasn't just kept in a crappy Scientology nursery while his parents help save the world and got their own minds fucked with.

He wasn't just a public Scientologists or mission staff member or Org staff or even just plain old garden variety SO member.

He was fucking RAISED in the CMO. He was groomed to be an LRH clone. He never had any other life. NONE.

So the Indies might want me to believe that Davey was a bad boy, undetected in the loving care of His Majesty Hubbard as the evil spawn of satan that he actually is. Dave was a bad boy because of his whole track identities. It couldn't be because of the extremely abusive non childhood he must have had. I know we need to be careful not to give him a pass like we give Marty and Mike and any other defectors who are brave enough to share their names out loud. After all he is evil because of what he has plotted to do for many lifetimes.

No, assholes. David Miscavige is a product of not just Scientology parents and not just Scientology staff or Sea Org parents. His parents turned him over to the founder of the cult to be trained and molded into as close to an LRH clone as any person can become with standard Scientology directly from source. As CMO staff David Miscavige was LRH's personal slave. His parents gave him to their cult leader. What a loving gift. He was considered a commodity.

Scientology works. David Miscavige is living proof of exactly how effective it is and how well it works.
I understand this. But I also have a problem with it. Didn't Dave Miscavige's brother grow up in the same exact environment? He didn't turn into a monster, did he? So if Scientology caused Dave to become a monster, why didn't his brother Ron also become a monster? Ron is the father of Jenna who is a sweet person. Not only did Ron not become a monster like his brother Dave, he had a child whom he raised to become a genuinely loving and sweet person. How do you explain that?

Answers to these questions cannot be found by only seeing the problem through the lens of "Scientology turns people into evil sociopaths". If Scientology does this, it certainly did not do that to you, Good twin, did it? Why not?

I'm not saying he isn't culpable. I'm just saying the abuse is like most abuse. The abuser is usually a former victim. I am not joking when I say he really should be evaluated by psychiatric experts and treated for the pathology he has.

That and of course I was trying to make sure the "Hubbard was a madman" message didn't get lost in the DM abuses story. Whether it's prosecutable or not it IS part of the story. Leaving the insanity of his childhood out of the story is leaving an awful lot off the table. IMO

btw Nice to see you Nony. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Miscavige is probably the most On-Source Scientologist there is, as he's seen all of Hubbard's instructions, including all his confidential instructions, on the matter of just how his mental-healing-coated, secretive personality cult/monument-to-himself blackmail-collecting, slave-labor-utilizing, people-machine should be run and maintained.

No doubt, someone else could do a more efficient job of it, and perhaps the mental-healing coating could be reinvigorated and widened, perhaps even coming up with some upper upper OT levels, OT 9, OT 10, OT 11, OT 12, etc. That would excite the faithful.

I aslo found that DM is the most On-Source follower.
