However, like it or not It was not Miscavige that created the Sea Org, the disconnection policy, Suppressive persons,or the A-E steps to become in good standing and therefore allowed to talk to your children.

Think about that "allowed to talk to your children"? Who on earth has the right to decide whether or not you can talk to your own children? L. Ron Hubbard thought that one up. David Miscavige was following orders, just like all good scientologists do.

I agree completely.

My son hasn't spoken to myself or my daughter in MANY years. Why?

Because we are "declared SPs" - per exact LRH policy.

My son follows the rules and encouragements of Hubbard's policy (which has been extant since before I got in back in 1976).

Thus, he refuses all communication with us - based NOT on David Miscavige, but on the EXACT ORDERS of L. Ron Hubbard (which every version of the Church of Scientology "follows")..

And, if my son was hurt or killed, we would NEVER know, because that JOKE OF A RELIGION known as Scientology would ensure that nobody contacted us.

It is the enforcement of exact LRH policy that has always been the primary source of the problems.

Maybe Miscavige hits people, and maybe Hubbard never did, but OTHER THAN THAT, all of the MANY SHITTY Scientology behaviors are pretty much the same.

Miscavige is simply extending and continuing a pattern of abuse that Hubbard began.

Are you essentially asking her, "When are you going to start talking about L Ron Hubbard?" or "When are YOU going to face the facts about L Ron Hubbard?"

I have come down on Karen, in the past, for not acknowledging the "elephant in the living room" but this is what I have come to know about the situation:

Karen posts here and many others comment on what she posts. She doesn't argue, try to dissuade, say that any other poster is wrong, deluded, overly critical, etc. I would be delighted if Mike and Marty, et al did the same.

All others are the flanking voices that are allowed to voice themselves on the subject with no disagreement, argumentation, or disapproval from her. There's plenty said about L Ron Hubbard daily on this board and in many other places.

One thing I have found out since I left is that you cannot enforce another to have a particular reality. It doesn't work.

I tried to find a quote from Karen where she recently, quite graciously and honestly made a very candid statement that she is coming to look at things in her own time and own way and needs to have the space to do so. Doesn't everyone?

I couldn't find the quote but, at the time, it said a lot to me.

Karen offers very valuable inside information here and others are free to add to that information in anyway they see fit to create an entire picture that then, yet another, can digest and decide what they think. There's no dearth of information about Hubbard and I, myself, don't find that Karen's lack of contribution to that information, specifically, is tantamount to her tacit consent of his behavior.

I always wanted to chat with someone who had experienced INT BASE Musical Chairs, someone who actually ran around in the early hours of the morning with 70 others to to Mozart's Requiem Mass. In some macabre and grotesque mind game, the LEADER of the "church" of Scientology had 70 senior church members fight over a disappearing chair in the middle of the night. No chair = exiled to the middle of nowhere, never to see wife and family again. That was the threat.

The year was 2005.

The insanity was occurring at INT Base.
The person fighting for a chair was Tom Devocht.​

Tom joined the Sea Organization at 12 years old. As a young kid he was my folder page (meaning he ran around doing admin cycles for me) as I sat in the "Ivory Tower".

He had only ever gone up to Grade IV in formal education, no schooling in the Sea Org, but that did not stop him becoming the Commanding Officer of Commodore's Messenger org (CMO) at the Flag Land Base. Senior even to Debbie Cook, he had just about the senior most post to rise to.

In 1986 he went on mission with Janet Light (Mclaughlin) as the
Ensurance"Missionaire" " to sent up the IAS" "ensurance missionaire = one who ensures the Mission gets done !
Tom was back and forth at INT base for years and years starting in 1983 where "Special Project Ops" (Miscavige) invited him to a football game in San Diego to see the Chargers in action.

By 2002 Tom was a favored DM pet even sharing a whole bottle of Scotch with him nightly while playing backgammon.​

That was before the beatings.
First the love fest. Then the venom
One day in Building 50 David Miscavige lunged at Tom, tackled him to the floor and then kept kicking him after he was down
One day at Cine Castle, he grabbed Tom's head and shoved it into the wall, battering Tom's head against the wall repeatedly. Then walked away without saying a word.
In the City of New York where Tom was assigned to do renovations, Miscavige asked Tom to give him a tour.

In Building 36 summoned to see Miscagive, asked a question, couldn't answer Miscagives lunges forward and repeatedly pummels Tom in front of all the CMO execs and RTC execs. Done out in the open.

And so the detailed stories went. I logged them all as Tom told me about them.
Tom was the husband of Jenny De Vocht.
Here's Jenny De Vocht aggressively defending the "Pope" of scientology with the claim she knew every square inch of Tom's body ! " It never happened "she told Anderson Cooper.

28 years of insanity was enough.
In the year 2005 during and after weeks of sec checking, Tom told Security he was leaving the following Sunday at 3:30pm "I'm done" he said, "I'm out of here." No one took him seriously. Tom goes to the massive iron gates and starts hollering at security to buzz the gates open as he is leaving. He raises his voice louder and louder, by now screaming. No response. Tom throws his satchel (all his belongings) over the gate, and then being in good shape, hurls his body over the gate. While he is airborne with his body on top of the gate, the gate is now buzzed open, Tom gets his leg tangled (only minorly) and descends the other side to freedom. He is handed $300 severance pay for 28 years of Sea Org slavery.

He is also told he is to have no connection with his brother who is "in good standing" and another relative in "good standing."

Tom is now a declared Sp for blowing INT Base.
Got to tell you of some more INT BASE Stories from Tom and the Fair Game the Church did subsequently directed at TOM .....

On this thread I've decided to just be supportive (of Karen) which doesn't mean I'm in total agreement with her views on the old man, because I'm not.

Alexander's death was a dreadful game changer.



For me, knowing that Karen is able to get up in the morning and get through the day is enough and the last thing I want to see is some kind of 'demand' made on her.

Documenting these hideous stories is helpful for us all and one day I expect they'll be used in a meaningful way to pull Miscavige out, and someone else (possibly even worse) will take over the reins of the cofs.

Karen has stated clearly that this is personal between her and Miscavige ... and it is, we are merely friendly bystanders, she is certainly not messing around ... she's going for the throat and if I have to 'suck it up' on occasion, I will.

I have already posted on the web more than once that Hubbard was greatly flawed in his writings on certain subjects, on degree of punishments, in his writing of "Fair Game", RPF and other issues and I have acknowledged other things like the draconian policy of disconnection. I have had long duration severe upsets and disagreements with some of his writings. This does not mean that I see some workability in some other things he wrote.

But I am not on this board to continue to repeat stuff on Hubbard. There are 100s that do so. As spoken before, Law enforcement, the IRS, Government agencies do not care a hoot n hell what a dead man said or didn't say in regards to present time felonies.

Well, good luck with that. She has a bit of an uphill battle in front of her if she is serious about modeling.
