He's done more than you have. What is your excuse for not bringing Kyle's story to television? What have you done and what are you doing that is even slowing Scientology down for one second. I contend, nothing. Here's how:
Mike Rinder said "Sponsored Television has its limitations". He gave this as an excuse for why Scientology and the Aftermath never revealed anything that would put DM or any other officer of the Church of Scientology into criminal jeopardy, producing the federal investigation and the IRS tax exemption review. It's his excuse for his supporters - YOU - for why that never happened.
You just accept this. You can't see that Mike Rinder had access to a blog that whole time, as well as journalists around the world. He's done dozens of articles and interviews in the 4 chronological years he was on Aftermath. In fact he's had access to those outlets for the 12 years since he's been out, too.
And, because of your beliefs, you don't see this is simply a string-along excuse. You are blind to it.
Your beliefs, and your loyalty to them, are blinding you.
And now you will think up a rationalization that confirms your existing beliefs, and discounts or ignores the factual evidence that challenges them in 3....2....1
It's not a fact.It is a fact that Mike Rinder has never been restrained from exposing crimes by the "restraints of sponsored television".
Yet you've just demonstrated that you can't see that fact.
Why?
Not a fact.Mike Rinder was never restrained from exposing crimes by sponsored television.
Is that factual, or not?
It really would be a great documentary. Or a movie. He's done more than you have. What is your excuse for not bringing Kyle's story to television? What have you done and what are you doing that is even slowing Scientology down for one second. I contend, nothing.
I'm sure someone could write a book or put together a documentary but eyewitness accounts would make it credible. Without eyewitness accounts it remains speculation and the church would just tear into that.It really would be a great documentary. Or a movie.
There must be someone in the Ex world who could write a book and/or screenplay.
Surely Remini and Rinder aren't the only 2 people in all of ExScientologistdom to have media contacts.
This is quite a post, Shelia.
Really? How many crimes have you exposed, exactly? The last time anyone on ESMB exposed any crimes was for the Federal inquiry for Australia's Parliament back in 2009/2010. And that led to Emma's fair game, and that led to an end to all that. And you didn't even notice.
Do you just say that you are "exposing abuse" give yourself a good feeling? Because it's delusional to think anyone is exposing any criminality or even abuse here on ESMB in the last 5 years - at least.
I don't support groups, or people, who abuse or commit criminal acts on others, Shelia. I also don't support people or groups who hide and distract from the criminality of Marty, Mike & Dave's Church of Scientology.
Unlike you.
Ladies, gentlemen and others,What
The
Actual
Fuck
“We” in Oz have not stopped exposing actual crimes SINCE 2009.
Want me to list just a few of them out?
Operation RPF - Kev chatted to the police and that led to the disbanding of ANZO RPF within 6 months. It led to extreme paranoia on the part of the kult at Dundas HQ for longer. It led to the police themselves directly doing their own investigations into two RPFers and their disappearance.
Many of Bryan Seymour’s stories have led to follow up actions. Ditto for Steve Cannane’s. Ditto for the many other Oz journalists that “we” have worked with.
Stuff that I did with Anons on NarCONons. Stuff Dave Love did on the same. You mean to tell me Dave did nothing? Take a look ffs. Open your eyes and see how much media, legal and political action Dave got. How much “we” here in Oz got.
I’ve quietly worked on stuff that you and others here will never see. I know of others that have done the same, including Mike Rinder. I know this because I was in on it in some small way and watched it unfold. You can see NOTHING from behind your keyboard while you have this fixed opinion.
I could go back through the archives here and wwp and my emails and diaries and come up with a feast of crimes exposed since 2009. I’m not going to. I’m going to log off, have dinner and watch the football.
Otherwise I’ll be abusive in public and I’m not going there if I can avoid it.
Thank you for all you contributed Scooter.

You’ve done plenty too, my friend. But thanks for your kind words.Ladies, gentlemen and others,
Scooter is in the house!
So much work behind the scenes.Thank you for all you contributed Scooter.

You support the church (CULT) of Scientology, despite massive evidence over decades of abuses and crimes. You copy and paste items from their websites to this site. Not trying to downplay this, by the way. This is some of the best of ESMB.
But why do you say I support a group that commits crimes and abuses people? Where have I ever done that?
Yeah, I took the bait yesterday. My bad.So, when everyone gets tired of playing this game with Alanzo and you want him to stop, just stop posting in his threads. That's just what he is doing, getting you to reply to his nonsense so he can keep going.
All you have to do is stop replying to his nonsense posts and he will stop. His game is to get you to respond, that's all. He isn't here for stimulating debate nor does he care what he is posting about, he is just fishing for replies.

It seemed immaterial.
But your original unaltered statement was not a bit any more factual than what I wrote.
The legal department of any TV network can and will suppress content to reduce legal exposure.

Alanzo - you are totally picking the wrong target and it makes no sense. You are making a fool of yourself. Why don't you do something more productive. Would you want your son to get into Scientology? Mike is doing something about Scientology because Scientology does harm to families. If you watched the show on A&E, you would know that he already admitted he did really bad things in Scientology when he was under the influence of the brainwashing. Give it a rest, please? I really like you and feel you are an intelligent man...but this valence you have taken on that goes on and on and on is really weird, IMHO. You are coming across demented like Marty Rathbun (who took money from the cult in exchange for his strange behavior). Is that what you did? Please - Get deprogrammed from whatever hate mode you are in. It does not suit you.Now 12 years from being 'out' of the Church of Scientology, and finishing 3 seasons of a TV Show where he vowed to produce a Federal Investigation and a review of the IRS Tax Exemption, Mike Rinder has never revealed any criminal act that would put David Miscavige, or any other Officer of the Church of Scientology, into criminal jeopardy, or cause any IRS tax exemption review.
Before the end of the Series Finale, Mike Rinder proffered another seeming "shore story" about why no crimes were revealed on Leah Remini's Scientology and the Aftermath.
"Our work is not done yet. Unfortunately sponsored television has limitations. There are things we cannot film or show on camera because of certain restrictions. These restrictions have limited us in many ways to tell the full story and in some cases, not permitted us to tell the story at all."
So this seems to be why Mike is saying that, despite running the Office of Special Affairs for David Miscavige for 22 years, he was never able to expose any criminal act on his TV show: Because "unfortunately sponsored television has limitations"
It's reminiscent of Hubbard's "We build a world with broken straws", isn't it?
He goes on.
"For us, the work never stops. There are things we and others have done and are doing that have not been able to air. We have met with lawyers, we have met with law enforcement and victims have come forward and spoken. You will see and hear more about this in the future."
TV shows can report on law enforcement issues. It's done every day. Yet we're going to have to wait even longer to hear about the crimes Mike Rinder can spill.
Then yesterday, Mike said this:
..."the security for the few appearances he has been making (exclusively at events and ribbon cuttings in the last few years) is high. Lots of hired PI’s and off-duty law enforcement to keep anyone unknown away. Screened entrances and exits. Photo ops only with screened dignitaries and no “mingling” with the riff-raff.'"This scenario is still a relatively safe environment to prevent civil service. But it would not prevent law enforcement from serving him. If they know where he is going to be, there is no PI that can prevent a Federal Marshall, local law enforcement or the FBI from conducting their business in order to serve him. They can certainly sound the alarm and the COB can try to slip out a back door, but it’s not likely he would be able to pull that up."
You got that, right?
Mike here is saying that law enforcement has the power to penetrate Miscavige's shields way more than any civil service. And since Mike earlier gave the history of Hubbard's "ALL CLEAR UNIT", and showed he has known since the 1980's the difference of reach and power of criminal subpoena over civil service - he is admitting here that he has known this the whole time he was the Chief Protector of the Church as the head of OSA, and the whole time he has been out of the Church as a "critic" and "whistleblower".
But now things seems to have changed for Mike. He's unleashed. He's no longer tethered from the restraints of sponsored television (even though he promised a federal investigation from the TV show, and ran a blog for 10 years prior) he seems to be winding us up for his next series of 'exposes'.
He seems to be STEAMED. And he SEEMS to be ALL ABOUT THE CRIMES NOW.
So what kind of crimes?
Victoria Britton said she had two interviews with Scientology and the Aftermath, and they never produced an episode on the murder of Kyle Brennan.
Are we all now waiting breathlessly for Mike to reveal a jaywalking charge for DM?
Will he reveal all Dave's speeding tickets?
Let's watch Mike Rinder really closely now.
Because, after 12 years, Mike Rinder's all about the crimes!
