My story

How about all those hours chained to the E-meter?

From Arnie's excellent site:

Linking electrical currents and cancer growth

The E-meter Papers

The E-meter and shock

The E-meter and endorphin levels

and there may be more. I also searched there for "cancer", and there are SO many references to Co$ members dying from cancer.

Just a comment about Anonfrog's post. I checked some of the links, couldn't u/stand lots of it, but I too survived cancer - breast cancer. Actually I have no idea what caused it, 'cept maybe at some point my immune system was compromised and failed to deal to some cancer cells that all of us have but normally the body's immune system kills off. Main thing, I'm completely clear and healthy now, fit as a buck rat as they say.

I noticed too though that there is apparently some evidence that the emeter may cause damage or interference to the brain. And ECT given to psychiatric patients is definitely linked to amnesia, loss of memory. It occurred to me that many of us exes have some memory loss, and just wondered ..... Just sayin'

Sorry to side-track your thread Bea. Love to you; I am reading Paul's compilation of your story, amazing! I am thinking maybe my daughter could confront reading it as there is a lot of humour there along with the horror. She hasn't been able to read ESBM as it stirs up stuff and she can't sleep.

I have finally read your story in completion. WOW!! Your such a strong person to be able to live through all of that and still have your marbles. Seriously.

My heart goes out to you and I understand more now about the SO kids-teens that I've met, lived with, etc... that were 'difficult'.

I'm glad to read that your in touch with your father and that you are creating a relationship with him. Your grandparents were a god send when you first got out , glad to hear someone was there.

Congrats on your pregnancy, and I hope your wishes for your life come true. It appears that your able to make things go how you want them to go, so kuddos to you.

Today my grandparents came to town to help out with buying the (tons!) of things that I need for my wedding, and random of all random, my mother calls my grandmother!

I was right there, doing shopping with them!

I said "tell her I said hi!"

So my grandma says "Bea is here! She says hi!"

She (my mother) did not respond whatsoever to it and ignored it.

My grandma said it was "her loss" that she was not coming to the wedding!

-----

She has been sent a wedding invitation...

Waiting to see if she shows... yeah. No! She won't.

That is still a "reach" Bea. Who knows, we may get a comic ending yet to to this play!

What reach? The phone call was a reach to the grandmother, not to Bea, unless she knew Bea would be there at the exact moment she called.

Yes, it is her loss. But how awful. Just another example of the viscious destructiveness of Scientology. I couldn't imagine what it would take to force a mother not to speak to her daughter. It's just beyond my comprehension. And it's 180 degrees diametrically opposed to what I learned in Scientology.

All you can do, Bea, it get on with your life and don't make the same mistakes as your mother.

Have a wonderful wedding!

Wow.

Scientology sucks.

I had a wonderful wedding today. It was PERFECT! I have a very loving family who has helped every step of the way to make it a great moment of our lives. My husband and I are so very excited about the future.

I am sorry to say, despite the invitation, my mother did not attend. She did, however, send good wishes and her blessing via my grandmother. I was happy to hear that.

It was a perfect day, despite the cold weather! :happydance:
