Thanks again for posting Markus. Uwe is still alive, in hearts and minds and he will live on forever because there is LOVE. Scientology can't kill LOVE although they tried many times. Love is the one thing LRH could never control and the one thing he never understood. The power of LOVE is greater than any religion or belief. It is mightier than a King or a Conquer and was too big for LRH. Love cannot be controlled and as minds become twisted and hearts turned cold by the "tech" ... eventually love will bring us back home by those whom love us.
Yes, Uwe is here with us today because you called him back home and he will be with us forever. For each and every time we tell our stories about the ones we lost to Scientology, we bring them back alive. And, that you do by never letting anyone forget what happened to Uwe and when you keep telling his story to those whom never heard it before, love will never die.
LRH never knew love. Too bad, because I do believe he had a brilliant mind but it lacked the one thing that matters the most.. love and emotions.
LRH spent his entire life trying to kill Love. It is in every process, in every policy and in bulletin... he killed emotions and love. Drugs are not allowed because under the influences the persons cannot be controlled yet, his own "tech" was born from the hallucinations of drugs.
In his own self delusional belief that he had discovered all the answers to all of mankind's ailments and causes of failures, mental, physiological and physical he declared himself "knowing" that the cure could only come by subscribing to his "Modern Science of Mental Health" and the processing in Scientology.
Well, his "modern" science pardon me, knew (bleep) nothing about real medical conditions. Fifty some years later (since the publishing of Dianetics, the Modern Science of Mental Health in 1950), we still wear eye glasses to improve our sight, we still take Aspirin, Ibufrofen or Tylenol for aches and pain. And for those with more medically involved issues, yes, "mind" altering drugs are prescribed.
Yet, I draw the comparison between the "mind altering" Scientology perspective of forbidden drugs and the "mind altering" Processing in Scientology and I ask myself, what's the difference? The outcome is somewhat the same... it alters eh, if not the mind, it affects the body. It still "alters" and altering is forbidden, so, why is not Ok for me to choose what I want it to "altered" when either choice is going to "alter?"
If modern medications are needed to help or aid (if you will), to ease the pain, who was LRH to determine the difference between "mind" altering drugs from drugs that ease pain or improve a physical condition? I think LRH just draw a line and said, no drugs... Well, what is "drugs", really! Ok, we know the "psyc" drugs...
If LRH never gave a list formal list of "forbidden" drugs, yes, we as former SO members know what that means... but still, with no "formal" list, there was no reason Uwe should not have been given medical care and the medication he needed. Most of know what Uwe needed was not "psyc" drugs.
In other words, yes when we are in physical pain and a medication relieves the pain.. yes, it affects our mood and/or mind but, was the drug prescribed to relieve a "mind" related or to relieve a physical issue? And, didn't LRH understand that our mind be affected because it (the mind) registers physical pain? Of course he did!
When, LRH to declared he had the answer to "fix" physical aka mental (because mental is caused by physical) impairments (DTMSOH in 1950) well, fine.. but why haven't the "science" produced any proof .. after what 50+ years?
Why hasn't Scientology Auditing cured the "mental health" issues and why after 50+ years... aren't the planet cleared... hence, "PLANET?"
I believe, Uwe didn't have to suffer but because LRH's distorted the "practice" of Scientology from the "written" policies and procedures.
Anyhow,....................
Thank you Markus for keeping posting your story about your brother Uwe. My post belong here.. and in under many different topics... but is still belongs here because if anyone reading this is an ex-SO member you know what I am saying.
Uwe could be alive today if he was given medical assistance and treatments... he would still be here today and so could my sister-in-law Maria... they could both be alive and living a good life...
Honey Love,
