Terrific video!
One of the (somewhat maddening) questions that Aaron "wondered" about a number of times is whether Rathbun "knew" what he was saying was a lie and (i.e. whether he "believed" it) or whether the COS just gave him a ream of bullet points to attack.
ANSWER: Of course Rathbun knows he's lying his ass off.
The technique employed throughout Rathbun's videographed series (and online posts since he decided to abandon his lawsuit vs Scientology) is a very special kind of (acceptable truth, TR-L, and shore-story) LIE TECHNIQUE that I don't ever recall being described/detailed. Of course a lie is a lie. But there is a type of lying that is used for special occasions by Scientology's elite "BIG LIE" public relations experts.
The "special occasion" happens when the COS (Crimewave of Scientology) has been suddenly and shockingly caught red-handed in some disgraceful lie(s), black op(s), fraud(s) and/or crime(s). And, the situation is far more seriously "out PR" than just plain old lying can possibly address. For example:
--David Miscavige being caught red-handed on the last public interview he did on national TV with Ted Koppell ("Nightline" interview in 1992). In that interview Miscavige "manufactures" (Hubbard's word in scripture) damning allegations and pretends they are fully documented and provable facts. In Miscavige's moment of meltdown he rants about "proof" that "psychs" were creating a "Siberian" facility to incarcerate, torture and kill innocent people. For good measure, he also throws in lurid charges that the US federal government was infiltrating Scientology and "murdering" Scientologists.

The technique is this; create out of nothing and nowhere a set of outrageous "facts" that nobody is able to instantly refute. Then threaten to deliver the documents and "proof" at a later time (which of course never, ever happens). BUT FOR THE MINI-MOMENT, IT THROWS A RANDOMLY CHAOTIC TWIST THAT CAN MOMENTARILY DERAIL OR DISTRACT FROM THE BRUTAL DEBUNKING THAT SCIENTOLOGY IS BEING THROTTLED WITH. There is no slightest intent or hope that any of it is true, but a bombshell is dropped with some earnest-sounding commitment to send over the facts/docs (which just conveniently happen to be missing at the moment while the live TV show is filming).
We see this identical technique in virtually all of Scientology's pitiful performances over the decades, where they rant and sputter and spew out the craziest claims imaginable. If anyone has heard Heber Jentzch's unhinged histrionics on past tv/radio shows, they will quickly recognize why he literally began ranting and screaming about Nazis and demented conspiratorial "facts" that he was ever-so-willing to provide the documents to prove (some time later, after the show was off the air, lol).
We saw that technique with cult-clown Tommy Davis as well. He would get in front of the cameras and just melt down his own version of the hysterically indignant humanitarian, in such classics as assuring viewers that "there is no such thing as disconnection" in Scientology. If Davis could not come up with a bombshell lie (to momentarily misdirect) he would simply begin psychotic screaming or storming off the live show. Such theatrics were done for no other reason than to re-focus attention on how crazy he was, rather than how crazy Hubbard and Scientology was.
I think I'll just leave it at those two (2) examples to make the point. IN A DESPERATE PR-MELTDOWN, SCIENTOLOGY SPOKESPERSONS INSTANTLY TRANSFORM INTO VIRTUAL SUICIDE BOMBERS, EXPLODING BOTH THE TRUTH AND THEMSELVES IN A FANATICALLY GLORIOUS ACT OF SELF-DESTRUCTION. It serves one purpose--to send a shock wave that disables the dialogue and sends the conversation's dazed and disoriented participants stumbling away from the site of the blast.
This is Rathbun's technique--a flash-bang grenade tossed into the conversation every single time that he wants to "clear the room".
All this gives the Scientologist the sensation that they have "won", for the moment. There is no slightest prediction of what will ensue when the public discovers that they were lying their asses off in the most contemptibly cynical and sociopathic way. They don't care. They got their F/N and ended session, for themselves and everyone else that was bothering to listen.
Rathbun is on the way to the examiner to celebrate his floating needle. The "examiner" is the next destination on a Scientology whore's routing form, just after getting a bank teller to "sign off" the previous one--confirming that a mysteriously gargantuan deposit was made into their personal account.

Whoa! Marty has just responded to my post!
With each video, I get creeped out more. It goes beyond the weird giggle and smirks, the incessant lying and blanked out moments.
It raises the hair on the back of my neck.
Uncanny valley.
It looks like a human, talks about human concepts, emotes ... but nothing is there.

So creepy I don't watch his videos - just skim over them as little as possible.
It's almost like he's a BOT infected with a very strange virus. Facial expressions and eye movement could
I think Marty's brain has metaphorically split in half.
One half creates bullshit and the other half believes it.
The same is true of his small cadre of "Manson family" followers who believe themselves gifted with a secret knowledge that has somehow eluded us mere mortals, lol!
How much of those people are genuine supporters of Marty rather than OSA shills playing a role? I am willing to accept that some of them actually believe the shit they're saying, but I wouldn't be surprised if their ranks are buttressed by OSA trolls trying to fan the flames.
