Her future will be very unpeaceful & unhappy if she stays with the cult.

It's not a bad thing. Mental anguish is very much like the pain you feel when you touch a sizzling hot pan on the stove.

It's nature's way of telling you to very quickly withdraw.

Imagine the twisted mental gymnastics and counter intuitive universe that exists around a pretty young woman who wants to flaunt her sexuality, but is in a supposed puritanical militant cult? Imagine working at CC Int, taking care of all the glamorous celebrities, wanting that life but having to throw those desires out the window, even feel guilty for having them, to slavishly work away the hours for the good of mankind.

The messages she is sending out are totally convoluted. She is as free as a bird in a cage. There may be nothing wrong with this young woman other than the fact that she was never allowed to develop into who and what she wants to be which then leads to all sorts of personality disorders and deviant behavior.

Truly, she is too young to fully understand the ramifications of what she has done and what is being done to her. I am not taking her responsibility away. I am simply saying she, too, is a victim.

What she did is truly inhumane. How she is being used by a cold and thoughtless cult is reprehensible.

Her life ahead looks rocky.

One of the absurd parts of cult thinking is that she could pass a star-rate checkout (without com lag) on the "Goals Of Scientology".

She would answer "A world without War, Criminality and Insanity", give examples and then confidently demo it out for a pass.

But the system there is so rigged & corrupt that she doesn't even know that both she and her cult are waging an unprovoked war on other people right now. They are acting insane right now. They are committing criminal acts right now.

It's so dreamy just being able to say the right words and not need the slightest clue what they mean but yet get validated anyways. And have "wins" about it.

Contrary to the traditional story of how a mother-in-law battles the wife of her son, I loved Andrea.

I said to her more than once, "Well, I was not permitted to have another child, but I have a daughter ! Andrea Jentzsch !"

If she needed $$$, I was there for her. if she needed a car for her day off, she could have one of mine. If she was ill, I was there with vitamins and shakes and more.

If Alexander was out of town and she got a rare evening off, we would do a movie and dinner, I took her only to the best of restaurants.

We never fought. I only acknowledged and praised her for being supportive of my boy. We never had a whiff of a disagreement. I was more than generous $$$$$$$$

I recall some 5 years ago, Alexander was out of state and he called me to tell me that Andrea was under the weather, could I do something ?

I ran to a great health food store and purchased the Works. A Care package supreme with tons of nutritional goodies. Fruit protein bars, smoothies, you name it.

It was 10: 30 at night that I arrived at Celebrity Center and pulled in on Bronson Avenue directly opposite CC INt where the Sea org berth in a renovated apartment building. I called Andrea's cell phone. She came down, we hugged and within a minute, a Security Guard on a bicycle pulled up.

"What ?" He demanded was in the shipping bag (care package). The voice was in anger, dominating, accusative, suspicious.

I looked at this punk. He wasn't even born while I was made to run around pole in Clearwater sun for 12 hour a day torture. He speaks to me like I am an unwanted fly to swat out of the area.
securityguardonbike.jpg

Here he is, throwing his weight at me like some new BOSS that could approve or disapprove my gift to Andrea.
"My name is Karen de la Carriere" I said softly, "Andrea is my daughter in law and I am just bringing her some vitamins and nutritious protein bars and smoothies as she is under the weather"

"Well, speed it up then" he barked with full seniority on a Sea org member standing on Bronson and my "unauthorized visit."

I felt a wave of some strange emotion. I hugged Andrea and walked back to my car. I mentally shook my head in disbelief and what it had all come to.
I drove home feeling depressed.

This is very similar to how I felt at Flag visiting my husband when he was an outer org trainee. The husband/wife relationship should be senior but, it's not. When we has there, he was owned my them. I could go on and on about this but I don't want to upset myself before going to bed. Who do these people think they are?

Sometimes the cruelty is below the level of felony and misdemeanor.
Example:

A punishment doled out by Flag MAA on orders of his seniors is to have Sea Org regges/members who have not extorted their quota of $$$$$ get up at 4am and run from the Hacienda (where Debbie Cook was in lock down) to the Fort Harrison at 4am (sleep deprivation). Security guards followed the runners to be sure they were running.

FlagMap.png

Hacienda2.jpg

hacienda1.jpg

Numerous Sea Org members in Clearwater, at the Flag Land Base were ordered to lick floors with their tongue and clean these surfaces with their tongue. This was done as sadistic punishment.

Debbie Cook's one time revelation of licking bathroom floors as ordered by Miscavige was only the Precedent setting an example of what MAAs must order the rank and file.

Religious discipline !
But I do not know if it would come under the legal law enforcement
statutes.

Example:
Extreme humiliation.
Tom de Vocht was telling me just before the SP Hole started, in 2002/2003 there was such a thing as "seances'. The Senior Managers would gather in the big dining hall, and one person at a time would be picked on by the screaming mob. "What are you crimes on David Miscavige ?"
People would give up masterbation as a withold.
Apparently Masterbation was big up at INT base as a HUGE criminal type activity !
When someone wasn't there to confess to masterbation, it would be announced to the 600-700 staff, that's right, taken right out of the pc confessional folder to mock the individual. This made the flock scared to give up anything in a future confessional.

Miscavige walked around with Tom De Vocht and talked like this numerous times ::::

"You see Mary here ? ("Mary") is an example. She's been falsifying her stats and she's been thinking of fucking me while she sticks her finger up her butt !"

Humiliation and degradation to an enslaved Sea org member. Tom relayed Miscavige had talked like this in front of the various Sea Org members numerous times to him.

Ok, not criminal enough for FBI,
BUT
read and learn about the Commanding Officer "COB" Chairman of the Board, running Scientology Inc. David Miscavige..

They are exercising what military officers & police cadets learn in the academy...Command Presence, or exercising your personality to exert authority over others.

http://www.military.com/opinion/0,15202,148139,00.html

Since the cult guards don't receive the same training as police candidates do on using command presence, their exercising of authority includes a fair amount of arrogance & paranoia.

Tom De Vocht Part 2

"Why Why Why did you put up with Miscavige for that long ? " I asked Tom Devocht ? "Could you not have slugged the punk Tom?" I asked.

"Karen, I was in charge of putting buildings there, you can't hide production when a structure has to be renovated, created and put there. By having a line with him I could get the finance necessary, the personnel necessary and without that direct line to him ~~ it was all but impossible through the bureaucracy."

Tom would be in charge and get the renovations done. To be posted as Commanding officer of the CMO in Clearwater the amount of production, dedication and results has to be enormous.
After the complete renovations was done, Miscavige would change his mind and want it all re-done from scratch. Of course this would now go over -budget.

One of the main accusations Miscagive hurled at Tom DeVocht was that he was "overspending" and "wasting Org funds."

The source of the design, planning and labor being done over and over again and re-done was Miscavige.
He kept changing and compulsively demanding a complete re-design from head to toe of what he previously approved of..

There is a brutal brutal film called "Full Metal Jacket". The vulgarity, violence and punching in the chest is a replica of Miscagive in action and especially the language. This was an all time favorite movie of David Miscavige. See a clip ~
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUc62jD-G0o

There is a scene in the movie where the soldiers put bars of soap into a pillow case and beat the living crap out of another because hurling a pillow case with a bar of soap inside can be a weapon. While Tom DeVocht was under the gun for "overspending" on the construction projects he was told something Miscavige had said the night before to another Sea Org Member ~~

Miscavige says Tom DeVocht needs a beating like this (from the movie)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCNqKrX1sx8&feature=related

Tom is starting to realize he cannot live like this. He has no resume, no references, no money, no nothing. He has been in the Cult since he was 12 years old. He did have a pretty wife, Jenny deVocht

One day Shelly Miscavige comes storming down the Campus and into Tom DeVocht's face "You get your bitch away from my husband ~ she's trying to seduce him !" Shelly screams. 2 days later Tom is summoned to building 50. Shelly is on fire "Get that bitch away from my husband she's hanging her tits in his face....."

Tom notices Jenny de Vocht has totally changed. A different personality than who he married. One of the most cruel things that has been reported to me is Miscavige enforcing 7 days of no sleep on Jenny.

Jenny De Vocht the "Commanding Officer CMO Int" was forced to stay up for non-stop seven days... until her eyes were dark and hollow sockets. Even the CIA classifies shorter bouts of sleep deprivation as "torture." When Jenny finally crawled into a bed, Miscavige had her hauled back to the CMOI conference room ("the Hole" a.k.a. "SP Hall"). Meanwhile, Miscavige also had a bed brought in and placed in the middle of the room. After humiliating and degrading Jenny as a "weakling who couldn’t go without sleep," he ordered her to go to sleep in the bed while all CMO staff watched. After a week of no sleep, Jenny dozed for the next two days in a conference room full of people who were themselves not allowed to leave until she got out of bed.

Here's Jenny

No one can say what did or did not happen with Jenny de Vocht (now Jenny Linsen) She still craves Miscavige approval, she reportedly acts like a Nazi and looks 30 years older. Shelly Miscagive subsequently vanished.

I could go on and on about this but I don't want to upset myself before going to bed. Who do these people think they are?

Who do they think they are?

They think they are MAN'S ONLY HOPE OF SALVATION.

They believe that Hubbard provided them with a fool-proof method of "fixing people" and of "fixing planet Earth".

They think that the aim and goal to achieve a sane and decent planet is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than anything else. And, from a larger selfless view, it might be more important IF they actually could do anything about it, and if Scientology didn't simply involve a contrived/fabricated set of ideals and goals used to manipulate people.

It sort of makes sense that IF a group possessed REAL TOOLS that could most assuredly repair Men and Earth, that there would be some who would try to stress the importance of these larger 3rd and 4th dynamic goals. And, the 1st and 2nd dynamics would necessarily get short shrifted.

To me, it is very easy to grasp.

If you lived on a planet that was on a very fast collision course with self-destruction, due to a dwindling spiral and various inner personal whole track case factors (the 4th dynamic engram), and if we were all running out of time quickly, then the urgency would be apparent and actions would be appropriately demanding and even quite self-sacrificing in nature. THAT is what true believing Sea Org members accept and adhere to - they are CERTAIN OF IT - they have been CONVINCED. They are entirely LOCKED in a make-believe reality foisted on them by Hubbard and Scientology.

The nutters in the Sea Org BELIEVE with their heart of hearts, having been throughly indoctrinated and brain-washed into Hubbard's most severe and fanatical "data", that ONLY Scientology can and will create a better world. The Sea Org and even all of Scientology hinges on THAT IDEA. The IAS hinges on THAT idea. Hard Sell hinges on THAT idea. Heavy Ethics hinges on THAT idea.

Even the nasty shenanigans of OSA, the lying, the deceit, and the force, might be understandable and even justifiable IF Scientology WERE the ONLY package of true information on Earth that solved the problems of Men and universes forever.

Of course, the big problem is that it is mostly a BIG LIE (interspersed with just enough truth to keep the followers totally confused).

Once having accepted various ideals (making a better world, making sane and able people), which are not necessarily bad in themselves, and once having accepted that ONLY SCIENTOLOGY CAN REALIZE THESE IDEALS, all else just falls into place.

Many people in Scientology confuse 1) the lofty and inherently decent ideals with 2) Scientology being able to realize the ideals.

Hubbard tricks and lures you with the grand ideals. They are good intentions actually. But then, he PROMISES (with a bundle of total lies) that ONLY Scientology can HANDLE attaining these ideals. THAT is the curveball Hubbard throws.

Fundamentally, most of the real dedicated Scientologists BELIEVE that Scientology can make a better world, and that it IS MAKING a better world right now.

If YOU really KNEW that YOU could make a better world, by working very hard and sacrificing your personal life and goals, what might YOU do?

Of course, the BIG PROBLEM is that Scientology is NOT making a better world, and is NOT making better people.

The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions.

That statement is so completely applicable to the subject and practices of Scientology.

I need to sit down and really explain this some time. Hubbard STATES (postulates, asserts, claims, proposes) various goals and ideals that just about ANYBODY can agree with. Such as making people more able, making a world without war and insanity, providing real justice, being ethical, bringing about freedom, and so forth. Sure, these are all very VAGUE and GENERAL, which of course works the best because each person can DUB-IN his or her own details and meaning for such abstract ideas.

Then, when a person is agreeing and agreeing hard, with great momentum, with the "good ideas", Hubbard STATES (postulates, asserts, claims, proposes) an idea such as ONLY SCIENTOLOGY PROVIDES THE KEYS TO SOLVING THE MYSTERY OF MAN.

People get into the agreement mode by the agreeable and decent stuff Hubbard places in books and tapes. But then he tosses out the total nonsense, that some just accept out of had:

Scientology is knowing how to know.

Only Scientology can deliver spiritual freedom.

YOur ONLY chance at making it is Scientology.

You eternity depends on what you do here and now with Scientology.

This list of absurd over-generalized NONSENSE coiuld go on for many pages.

Hubbard TRCKED people into accepting the nutty ideas largely by first getting them to agree with the decent ideas. Then he runs a huge A=A=A on his followers, where they confuse the decent and good with the total trash. Personally, I think Hubbard was a pretty smart guy and that he knew exactly what he was doing to trick and mislead people.

As the stories trickle out, as more is revealed, it can only seem more and more incredulous and that such ABUSE would be tolerated ~~

+++++Licking bathroom floors til one's tongue and jaw aches for extended periods of time has been doled out by the Flag Staff MAA ("ethics officer" )as punishment on staff, regularly and routinely.

+++++The Sandcastle is right up at Clearwater Bay where the tide comes in and out ~ see this image of the restaurant.

sandcastlerestaurant.jpg

A sadistic punishment was developed to make a Sea org member who's "regging" ( money extortion) statistics were not up to expectations, to scrub the sides of the wall at high tide. The wall gets eventually covered with mollusks, barnacles and other crustaceans so the wall scraping is done. This particular time, the tides battered the Sea org Member and something went wrong and the Sea org member nearly died mid the sadistic punishment.

Guess what ? The Sea Org member is back on post toiling away.

SUCH INCIDENTS ARE CONSIDERED NORMAL !

It is the CULTURE !

The MAA who dictated this punishment even received a letter of commendation from A CMO executive stating
that he was Great because The staff FEARED him ! He was being considered for RTC !!!!

Great post. Thank you very much.

Even when I was in and a die-hard, I still resented the subordination of personal, intimate relationships to the need to eternally exalt every single whim of the church, even when I believed in what I was doing, respected the Sea Org and truly felt that Scientology was man's only hope.

Do the armed services here in the US treat spouses the same way as Scientology does, like the spouse has the husband or wife out on loan but otherwise they belong to the organization? Maybe, I don't know.

Even if Scientology was mankind's only hope. Even if it was all true -- every word Hubbard said. Even if the tech really worked and it was our only way out of eternal entrapment, still, at the end of one's mortal life here, the only thing that is really real, or that really matters is the relationships one had with others. It's really the only reason anyone would be fighting to make planet earth a better place to live.

Even if Scientology was the answer, it still wouldn't be right to act as if the group owned the individual.

What you are describing is so true. The "enturbulation" of beings for their own good.

True for Scientology as a whole. And true for even the core tech of auditing.

And true for an "auditing com cycle" wherein the auditor asks a question ("whatsit" line) that is supposed to restimulate the person's reactive mind. So that the pc can put in his "itsa-maker" line and thereafter "itsa" the charge and "blow" it.

Good theory.

Except Scientology doesn't know how to "blow" the charge.

So all they are left with, eventually, is an "enturbulated" (restimulated) person. When people can't "blow" the charge they "blow" the cult.

Since there is no Clear and there is no OT, Scientologists are just being sent on a fishing expedition into their mind. That's not good.

Scientology, in its entirety, is simply an auditing com cycle without an EP.

Awesome posting Gad!! SO TRUE! Now here's an easier, more effective way to restore insanity - everyone in the world pick a day to stand outside and hold hands with your neighbor and be at peace. Practice love and forgiveness. I would even forgive Slappy if he asked me too! Just stop hurting people! Get straight and honest and stop your crimes Scientology!! You are not doing anything but creating hatred and destruction - based on your own statistics! LOOK!

It is free - it just requires a willingness to be peaceful and it would help far more than any auditing, study or donos in Scientology - crazy as it sounds - it would be far easier and workable too!

Peace and love to you all!:love8::heartflower::smoochy::handinhand::grouphug::hug:

I'm sorry, but there'd be a limit with me as to how much I'd put up with. They'd probably get me to do some of that stuff once- like the cleaning of the walls. The cleaning with the tongue, no, never. I don't care what some people say- I wouldn't do it. And eventually I'd hit my last straw/breaking point and I'd leave. After making a biiiiig scene.

I stopped putting up with crap that was pulled on me when I was on staff that was nowhere near as horrible as what Karen depicts here.

It's not just in CofS that this stuff occurs. I went to a supervisory workshop once and the instructor told us about a girl who worked in a bank as a teller and she kept forgetting to lock her cash drawer. She'd been counseled and all but kept forgetting. So her supervisor, exasperated (plus the supv sounds like an abusive douchebag anyway) put the cash drawer keys in a jar of peanut butter and made the girl fish them out. Which they girl did. But, although the supervisor certainly should have been reported to staff relations and/or the state labor board, still, the girl should not have done what she was told to do. Doing that perpetuates these sorts of behaviorisms.

The organization IS culpable for the hideous way they treat people but the people themselves perpetuate the system and abuses by going along with them.

Folks, never ever knuckle under.

I agree. I know that incredible control is put over people in the Sea Org, and there's always the threat of losing family and friends through disconnection, but if anyone tried to make me clean a floor or anything with my tongue....well....I would've kicked him in the head. Someone out at Int. needs to finally "man up" and just punch DM's fuckin' lights out! Geeeeez!

It's so awful what they do to those poor people. I would like to see someone punch the guy's lights out. Though I would not like to think of the consequences they'd face, if they did.

That's why people like the Headleys are so very important, all that they've done.
