"Miscavige shoots himself in the foot again. Apparently the attendance at the two 2011 Maiden Voyage Events was underwhelming. So Miscavige is taking a Mulligan. As I’ve already pointed out on this blog, the first Maiden Voyage event was scheduled for 2 July 2011 in the Los Angeles basin.That, to ordinary, garden variety Americans, was the Fourth of July weekend.
As a result, every Scientologist I called in the Los Angeles area had made plans months earlier to do something on the 4th of July weekend, and so wasn’t going to waste it in some Los Angeles hotel watching David Miscavige flap his lips again. It’s worse than that. Just about every city that held the Maiden Voyage events had crappy attendance. So, David Miscavige is taking a Mulligan. He’s insisting on a free “do-over”.
He has scheduled a re-play of the 2011 Maiden Voyage Events in every city where those noncompliant suppressive downstats didn’t show up."
